True love

Accepts love as it finds it,

Not judging or comparing 

To  loves we'veknown.

True hearts seek not

To take love's measure.

Some gifts come undeserved

Life's greatest treasures.

One heart cannot

Hold love alone,

That it takes two, is not a sign

Love's  weak.

Love's strongest when

The other's heart

We live  to please,

Less so when

Being loved ourselves

Is all we seek.

Or so they say.

And yet I 

Crave love anyway.
