You and Jimin had remained to wait outside, in hopes of the case of Taehyung and Jungkook to get solved soon and despite the hours that the matter lasted, you finally witnessed Byeol with her bodyguard walking towards the exit with an irritated look and a gaze that got firmed on you once your figure fell to her notice.

" You must be satisfied that things are going your way." She spoke as she kept walking only to bring her hand and push you once near you. An act that made Jimin not hesitate to push her back as he placed himself between you two.

His act had her visibly surprised but as she lifted her gaze to meet his, she found her anger subsiding. Her bodyguard tried to make a move by placing himself before Jimin and you just took hold of his arm and pulled him back, in an attempt to calm the atmosphere.

"How about we all keep our hands to ourselves. We are already at a police station." You suggested and she signal her bodyguard to back away, leaving you two facing each other again.

"I really don't understand. I thought you were the better person. Why are you coming after me? Do you want me to pay that badly for the things I did to you?" She looked at you with a hint of disgust as she subtly considered you a hypocrite.

"I am not coming after you in any way. If you feel pressured in any way, it's not because of me. You most likely are just in a place you don't belong and you got in the way of something. My actions don't revolve around you. I was just trying to help someone." You calmly explained to her and she scoffed before cursing under her breath, that stupid good nature of yours and that habit you had of always meddling on business that wasn't yours.

"You never learn, do you? Don't you remember in what situation it got you the last time you tried to play the hero? Do you like being praised? Why are you such a loser that tries to please others no matter what! You have issues!" She pointed at you with anger as she basically let out what she truly thought of you.

"Yeah, I am a people pleaser. I never claimed to be perfect. But at least I am aware of what I am and what I am not. Why are you blaming me for things you couldn't handle the outcome off?" Your words had left her hesitant for the moment but she sure displayed her frustration as she let her fingers pass through her hair and just stormed off, her bodyguard following quick behind her.

"Just who is that woman? I think I am lost." Jimin uttered, confused over what she had to do with you or how you were involved with her.

"Long story, I haven't had the chance to tell you. But I will fill you in everything once we get home." You reassured him and he accepted that right before the attention of you both got drawn to the voices of Sira, Taehyung and the rest that were coming towards the exit, looking quite energetic and victorious.

"I am pretty sure I warned you to not get yourself in trouble for a while Taehyung" Jimin crossed his arms over his chest as soon as Taehyung approached close enough, making his smile falter for a bit under his gaze.

"In my defence, this time around I was a victim of peer pressure and dragged in this situation." He brought his hands up in a surrendering manner while he spoke, making Jungkook slap the back of his head at the fact that he was trying to get his tail out and play the victim.

"If someone has the right to complain that should be me. For hearing all that cringe flirting you were doing and having to fight with a giant." Jungkook told him as Taehyung had turned to throw him a glare after he received the slap, that had made his head hurt a bit.

"Well well, what matters is that everything got sorted out and none ended up with a criminal record." Areum tried to balance the atmosphere despite the fact that she herself was pretty on edge while in there for Jungkook had a false identity that thankfully was not discovered for if that was to happen, sure the two of them would be in a whole new kind of trouble right now.

"Right, that's right. I am glad we are all well and I want to apologise for getting you involved in this." You bowed your head, deciding to take responsibility for you were aware the only reason Taehyung got involved in the first place, was because you wanted to help Jin out with Namjoon's and Elle's case.

"What are you talking about? You have nothing to apologise for. We got involved willingly you didn't force us." Sira stepped to your side and entangled her arm with yours as she reassured your worries and Jungkook nodded his head, agreeing.

"I have no idea what you all are talking about but I still consider Taehyung responsible for his own actions." Jimin's words had his brother rolling his eyes on him, right before he grabbed him and whispered in his ear, something the rest of you could not hear.

"She said she was the one that was bullying your Y/N." Was all Taehyung had said and backed away, leaving Jimin staring at him for a bit, before bringing his eyes to meet yours the travelling back at his brother.

"Yet again, I am sure he had his reasons. "He contradicted himself, looking almost pleased a thing that made the rest crack up, including you.

"Hey! Snap out of your manipulative side cause I had enough of it for tonight." Jungkook commented making Taehyung laugh right before he passed his arm around his neck and grabbed your wrist with his other hand, bringing you two in a headlock.

"Listen well you two. This night will go down as the night I -The great Kim Taehyung- defeated evil."  His dramatic and exaggerating words had everyone burst out laughing, with exception of Jimin that just rolled his eyes on him, feeling completely done.

"How about we stop the nonsense and start moving? It's past midnight already." He reminded them and all agreed that they should leave but once they walked away from the shelter and outside in the rain, the feeling of the raindrops had Sira giggle as she got filled with excitement.

"Guys, when was the last time you walked in the rain? This feels so nice!" she questioned as she swirled around with her arms open and her head looking upwards.

"I never did such a thing," Jimin uttered without much thought for such childish games, were things he had never experienced, for one reason or another.

"Mr grumpy head over here used to catch colds easily when he was little. He had mom always running after him."

"Look who is talking. The one that couldn't tie his own shoes till he was eight." Their small bickering exchange had you laughing again as you took his hand in yours and suggested that before leaving, maybe you should have a small walk around altogether and have fun.

Since you were already in the rain and partially wet, they received that suggestion pretty well and you all started walking away, in between waves of laughter and chitchats.

"The fact that she backed off her claims just because I threatened to expose her to Mr Namjoon still has me happy~. Poor thing she believed that I really wouldn't, just because she retrieved." Taehyung jumped around with a big smile on his face as he uttered those words, walking backwards as he had turned around to face you all.

"You really plan on not keeping your word?"

"Please, I will destroy that woman. You just wait and you will see." Taehyung's words had Jungkook who questioned him give a look at Sira, both finding his newfound hate towards that woman, slightly odd.

"You will seat your ass down and won't get involved in trouble. That's what you will do. I won't be the one looking after you always, you know. I am getting married. I have my own things to pay attention to!" Jimin nagged him a bit, unaware that his words were news to most of his group of friends, and as they all simultaneously halted their steps and snaped to look at your way, Jimin found himself surprised by the reaction momentarily.

"Married!!!!!" The chorus of their voices echoed in the night, making you give them an awkward smile right before you hesitantly lifted your hand to show them the ring that was now on your finger.

"Oh My God! Oh My God. Y/N Congratulations!"Jungkook's face lit up pretty soon after the information had been digested within his head and he rushed to hug you with a big smile which you reciprocated for you felt his happiness and the fact that he felt like that for your good news, made you feel even more grateful that you had him a friend.

He stepped aside after and congratulated Jimin through a handshake and a pat on his shoulder, leaving place to Areum to hug you, while giving you her heartfelt wishes. Sira was smiley and happy despite the fact that she already knew and took this chance to congratulate Jimin, leaving you to notice that through all of them, Taehyung was the only one who had not reacted.

Instead, he had just frozen in place, his eyes looking at you two without a certain expression on his face.

"Tae? You okay?" You questioned him, making everyone else pay attention to him but once he found himself under the presence of everyone's gazes and he made eye contact with Jimin, his eyes instantly got glassy.

"Yeah...I am okay...I was just...thinking that...dad would have been so happy." He tilted his head as he let a smile reach to his face then he walked forward, taking both you and Jimin simultaneously under his arms and holding you as tightly as he could, making you both hug him back, with a smile on your faces.

"Oh he is a crybaby~" Jungkook teased as Taehyung hid his face on his brother's shoulder, making Sira laugh before she grabbed Areum's hand and Jungkook's hand and screamed "Incoming Group Hug!".

The sidewalk that you were occupying got filled with silly laughter as you all had become one big ball of people hugging in the middle of a rainy night. If someone was to see you all, they sure may think that you were crazy but at that very moment, you felt the happiest you had ever been.

If someone was to have asked you some years ago about what happiness felt like, you most likely wouldn't know what to reply. If someone was to have told you that you were going to have friends again that you can trust and love without the fear of being left behind, you would have most likely laughed at that person. But here you were right now, having and living things you had never even dared to imagine or wish to have.

Such moments and these bonds you had created with those certain people, were what truly made you think that the fact that you were alive had a reason. The fact your life had not ended back then, had a reason. And the best was truly waiting for you in your future.

"You are crashing me~!" Taehyung's complaining voice had you all pull back, only for Jimin to flash him the brightest smile you had ever seen him have on his face.

"You know what? I always knew that we weren't quite normal but I think we are an odd combination." Areum uttered the thoughts that had crossed her mind at that moment, enjoying herself with you all but finding you all equally crazy at the same time.

"An odd combination of people always guarantees unforgettable memories though"

"How about we take a picture then. Right here right now. Gather up!"  Jimin followed Sira's words and brought you under his wing, while he swapped out his phone from his pocket, planning to capture one more moment that he felt happy.

"You have been asking us to take pictures quite a lot lately yet you never post them anywhere. Just what do you do with them?" Taehyung questioned him as he positioned himself behind Sira and left his head resting above hers while his arms wrapped around her waistline.

"You will be left with the curiosity." That was all Jimin told him and you smiled, already guessing what he was going to use those pictures for.

"Say Cheese~"

"Cheese~"

To make this moment be part of the happy memories of his life. An album that was now filled with your presence more than anyone else.
