If you didn't already know, I currently have two horses. A little mini, 8 year old gelding by the name of Noah, and a 4 year old Arabian mare named Arizona. Arizona is a training horse, meaning I have to train her fully before she is owned by me. I got her around mid-October, and I think her training is going well. I haven't gotten a saddle nor bit on her, but I have her trust and I've done this.

Yup. My dad and I thought this was a good idea.

My dad basically led her around with me on her back, about ten yards to a water tank and then back to the corral. We believe she was broke to ride at her old home before she was rescued, hence why she took my weight so well. But, this is a pretty good sign for her, and she's been doing exceptionally well.
