When you realize that you're making a story and you forgot to tell people...

Surprise?

It's a not-so-scary ghost story, about a young guy who died and well..does ghost stuff;
Haunt people, stalk people, float through stuff, have staring contests with people's pets(Humans can't see ghosts, most times, but pets can!), Miss eating food......

Also, In my story I'm going to pretend that(maybe not pretending, who knows) ghosts can hide/reveal themselves. If they want you to see them, boom, you see them. And vice versa
