Oh God!! He was looking so handsome.
I
knew it he will look handsome but didn't know that this handsome.

Well,this man can never change!! His possessiveness has not changed. I don't mind it because I saw the difference this time. Last time he was not even ready to listen to me,but this time he listened my point of view.

We went to the venue and honestly it was so beautiful ! The exhibition is going to be amazing by seeing this only.

Media too surrounded us and I just hate media. But thank god Abeer handled them.

We met Mr.Rishabh and Mrs.Ruby and I've to tell  she's such a jolly person !!
Yeah,a bit bluff but in all she's good.
Abeer went away with Mr.Rishabh for some discussions. Ofcourse he had to go. He can't stick to me here!!

But didn't I want that?
But what if I want.

Not everything happens the way I want !!!

"Meera what happened" asked Ruby

"No nothing" I said giving her a smile

"Well,I thought you missing your husband" she teased and I blushed

"No,it's nothing like that" I told her and she chuckled

"Mrs.Meera Malhotra your blushing cheeks says it all" she said and I looked down smiling

"By the way Meera who's outfit you're wearing. You know it's looking so much gorgeous" she asked

She's very interested in this!!

"It's Chatterjee's " I told her and she smiled

"Oh I knew that. He's only the one who can make such gorgeous outfit. But believe me you know whatever you'll wear you'll look gorgeous" she said

"It's nothing like that." I told

"Ah! Don't you like to listen to your praise from anyone..or wait your husband praises you so much that you don't need anyone's praise" she asked and I chuckled

"It's nothing like that Ruby" I told her

Well this woman isn't talking on any topic other then me and my husband!!

"Meera tell me about your life. I mean how did you meet Abeer and I'm sure.. It was a love marriage right. Anyone seeing you can tell how much you both are in love" she said and there I went back in time.

My life? Did I have any!!
How I met Abeer?

A forced marriage or I must say a compromise!

"Hey Meera.. You've all the time to think about your husband. At least talk to me now" she said and I smiled

"I was living in Malhotra mansion since I was thirteen. And how I met Abeer??
I saw him just two days before marriage " I told

"Oh so it was a long distance relationship. That's so amazing Meera. I mean staying in a long distance relationship is very tough." She said and I smiled

Long distance? I never even thought that I'll meet him!! I never even thought about him before I met him!!

But aren't you glad now that you met him??
I myself don't know this! What if he would've married Emma!!

I'm sure I would've never felt anything for him then.

"You know Meera I met Rishabh in my college and I was never stable in any relationship...but when I came in a relationship with Rishabh..I myself don't know how I ended up marrying him" She told and I chuckled

"That's sweet...and seeing your glowing face I'm sure you're happily married woman" I said and she blushed

"Yes..it's been 16 years of our marriage and still I'm in love with him" She said and I looked at her shocked

"What. Really. You look so young " I told her

Damn!! She looks small !!

"Oh come on don't you see wrinkles on my face" She said and I laughed

"Not even a single." I told her and we giggled

"You're so sweet Meera you know. Mr.Malhotra is so lucky to have you as his wife" she said and I passed her a small smile.

Is he lucky?
I'm lucky to have him!!
I'm lucky to have someone who is ready to handle me with patience!!

"Well, I think I'm lucky to have him" I told her and she smiled

"Meera..you didn't tell me" she said fake frowning and I chuckled

"What" I asked

"How your long distance started" She asked

Now what I'll say her!
Was there any long distance relationship!! No ! Never!!

"Does it matter now. We're happily married" came a voice from back and I turned to see Abeer in his glory looking at me

"Oh Mr.Malhotra. I was just asking. I'm sorry if you felt bad" she said

"No Ruby it's not like that. Actually he meant... that ours wasn't a long distance...we... we were" I wanted to say anything but nothing was coming out of my mouth

"We were always connected by our hearts.. and if once hearts connect.. Distance doesn't matter" Abeer said coming near me and I looked at him.

He...He said all this as a lie right? Of course!! You both know that how you got married and in what circumstances!!

"That's so much amazing. You both are so adorable that I can't tell you" she chirped and I looked at Abeer who was already looking at me.

He also must be thinking the same!  We and adorable??  Good jokes!!

But don't you want this Meera??  But why does what I want or not matters!!!

"Okay.. I'll leave you both alone for sometime and Mr. Malhotra see I told you I won't leave her side till you come back" he Said looking at her and he smiled

"Thankyou for that" he smiled  and she chuckled

"Okay Meera, see you soon." she said and I nodded

After she went away I looked at Abeer who was looking around.

"Abeer.. what happ... " I was going to say when I watched his fists opening and closing.

I looked at my surroundings when I noticed the reason.

"Abeer." I whispered holding his hand and he looked at me

"Now got the reason why I told you not to wear anything like this. But no you never want to listen" He said a bit angry

"Abeer..let them be." I said while he shot daggers at the people in a 'mind your own business' look.

And I swear if glares would've killed then they would've been buried six feet under the ground.

And it feels devil's glares worked!!  Eyes down and away.

I like this so much!!!
I like this way of his possessivenes which is to protect me!

Abeer!! You're doing all this and I'm feelig don't know which emotions!!!

I looked around again and wait...these girls!! I don't know if they don't know that I'm his wife or they're shameless still to ogle him shamelessly from top to bottom.

"Abeer.. " I called and hummed

"When will this be over" I asked him

I hate parties!!  I seriously don't like them. Hundreds of people whom we don't even know and passing fake smiles to them.

"Why? Didn't you like the Exhibition party" He asked

"I like the exhibition but not party " I told

"You hate parties I know" he said and I smiled.

He remembers!!

"Don't worry , bear it for just an hour more" he told looking at his wrist watch and I nodded

"Ladies and Gentlemen may I have your attention please" came Mr. Rishabh's voice and we looked at the  stage.

"Thankyou everyone for joining us in this exhibition. I would like to invite my partner in this venture on the stage. May I have you here Mr. Abeer Malhotra" he said and all the eyes turned to Abeer.

He looked at me and I smiled.
He slid his hand on my waist and I squirmed at this.

His touch really affects me a lot!!!!
A helll lot!!

We went towards the stage and he left me near Mrs. Ruby. She smiled at us and I looked at her smiling a bit.

Abeer went on the stage and shook his hand with Mr. Rishabh.

"So we're extremely happy about this venture and we're sure its gonna hit the diamond market with amazing sales. Isn't it Mr. Malhotra" he asked looking at Abeer.

"That's for sure " Abeer replied

"Now the news of the night.May I have that beauty please" said Mr.Rishabh and soon a girl came with a tray in his hand with a face dummy. It had a beautiful... very very beautiful diamond necklace with pearls and Ruby.

Everyone's eyes were at that only. 

"Here is the star of the show 'The Royal Heritage' "  Mr.Rishabh announced

Name itself is so much royal !!

It was that beautiful that no one could take their eyes off that.
All I could hear were gasps of people around me murmuring about the piece and people looking at that in awe.

"Oh my god Meera.Just look at that. It's so much beautiful " Mrs. Ruby said me with a glitter in her eyes looking constantly at the piece.

"Yeah it is" I replied to her.

No denial!!  Our companies would surely get a huge profit on it's sale. 

I know uncle.. I mean dad always used to tell me that such pieces are made one in millionth and it costs same. I'm sure it's in millions!!

A sale of this means a big profit to both our and Mr.Rishabh's companies.

"Meera... did your husband ever tell you about this" She asked

Is she nuts!!  I and Abeer don't discuss his business related things. Why we'll discuss this!!

"No. Why? " I asked

"Because my husband do. But this time it's a surprise for me too. God think how lucky will be the woman wearing this" She said dreamily and I chuckled

"Rather then that think how much profit it will give to our companies" I told and she nodded mostly ignoring the business thing.

She's just whipped  by this neckpiece.

"Sir..sir..can you tell us more about this" asked media people.

"As I told we named it  The Royal Heritage because of it's royality filled look.It has total of 201 diamonds on it.
One large heart shaped Ruby is placed at the bottom to add weight to the necklace and to highlight the tapered look of the jewelry piece.

100 white fat jades, 50 colorless divine diamonds and 50 beautiful rose cut more diamonds. All these precious stones help to lift up the necklace's weight to a sizeable half pound" Mr.Rishabh said and everyone gasped.

"God Meera...Queen Elizabeth 1st would come down on earth hearing this" Mrs.Ruby exclaimed  and I chuckled.

"And it is designed with internally flawless diamonds carved from the, a very rare 507.55 carat and diamonds are free from any impurities. This ruby heart shouts for love" Abeer said and I looked at him while he was already looking at me smiling.

"Mr.Malhotra this piece is indeed  one in million. So how much this piece costs" media asked Abeer.

"Indeed it's one in million and why this one only..  each and every piece showcased here is best and one in millions. And this one costs 20 million dollars, i.e. approximately one million 50 crore rupees " Abeer said & everyone near me gasped.

Everyone near me were looking surprised expect me and Ruby !

"That was expected seeing it's beauty" she whispered in my ear and I chuckled

I'm not shocked! As Ruby said it was expected seeing it's beauty.

"Now ladies and gentleman we also have the buyer of this exotic royal piece. That's none other then Mr. Abeer Malhotra" Mr.Rishabh announced and I looked at him shocked

Did I hear it right??

Is he mad or what. Do he even know it's a loss buying it to his company!!

One minute is he drunk?
No right now he was near me. He didn't smell like that!!!

"Mr. Malhotra is that true" Asked one of the media person

"Mr. Malhotra you're the partner of this diamond venture... And the boss itself is buying it. Isn't it something foolish" one of the media person asked him and he looked at him...well glared him.

"I know my business very well..and what will make a loss to me and what not. If the boss himself will not be trusting his brand do you think you people will?  Moreover some things are more important and at first place." he said looking at me.

"We didn't understand" they asked

"My dad told me that the best piece of this exhibition should belong to his daughter in law, My wife Meera Abeer Malhotra" he announced and all cameras turned to me.

Argh!! I hate attention!!

"Mrs. Malhotra is that right? Did you know about this before" asked one reporter

"Mrs. Malhotra I think every lady here would envy you today again." One lady reporter said

I very well know the meaning of  your question again miss reporter!!

"Excuse me all of you. Stop bugging on her head please. It was a surprise for her" Abeer said smiling at me and I looked at him

It's a shock for me Abeer!!

You're mad and dad, I'll see him!!!!!
Let me go home once!!!!

"Mrs. Malhotra can we have you on stage please.Everyone's waiting to see the beautiful piece on the beautiful lady" Mr.Rishabh said

"Meera.. Oh my god. Abeer's just amazing. You're so damn lucky. Go Girl!! That's the best moment of today" Mrs. Ruby yelled in happiness.

That's not!!  I can't take that. I can never!  It doesn't belong to me!!!!

"Meera... " Abeer said taking me out from my thoughts.

He was standing near me.

"No Abeer" I whispered

It's wrong Abeer!!

"Don't think anything. Nothing is wrong. Trust me" he whispered

"This is of course wrong Abeer. I don't deserve this. That's not made for me. If you want this take it for mom. Not me. Please" I whispered again stopping my tears and smiling at people.

I hate this fakeness!!!

"Meera..Please. I want this to happen. And who said you don't deserve it. Remeber who you're! You're Mrs. Meera Abeer Malhotra. You deserve everything. Every best thing in this world"He said and I looked at him

How can I forget I'm Meera Abeer Malhotra!! 

Bounded to him with everything!! I'm not just Meera!  I'm his wife!!

He held my hand and I nodded.

We went on the stage and everyone around us were clapping.

Abeer took out the piece from dummy and shifted my hairs from behind.

Damn!! Everything has to happen at the same time!!!!!!

I froze at my place as soon as his hands touched my bare back.

Soon I felt something cold on my neck and that's it! 

That 'The Royal Heritage was on my neck and I was feeling neutral.

"You're looking beautiful Meera" he whispered in my ear as my goosebumps rose due to his closeness from behind and I looked at him.

"I.. " I was going to say when he blinked his eyes

"You deserve this. Stop thinking anything else" He said and I nodded

"Mrs. Malhotra you were already gracing the night with your beauty and now this necklace made you look gorgeous" said one of the reporter and Abeer slid his hand on my waist.

"She's already gorgeous. Without this piece too " Abeer said looking at me and I smiled at everyone.

"Meera... you're looking just very very beautiful and trust me this piece is at it's right place" Chirped Ruby smiling and hugged me

"Thankyou So much" I replied her.

Till we were in the party everyone was looking at me. Some with awe, some with surprise and some in envy!!

And here I was not even able to think anything.
Is he the same Abeer whom I married!! 

He has lost his 20millions dollars just for a neck piece!!!

I.. I don't.. I'll give this to mom.  It's not for me!! I did this just for Abeer's happiness. I saw how his eyes were glittering when he saw me in that necklace. How he was genuinely smiling when he announced my name.

But will he be happy if I'll give this to mom saying I don't want it. Won't it be hurting him . Of course it will!!

I did it for him! Don't know why!!  But I did this only for that small smile that was on his face !!
I don't know what's happening with me because I want to be the reasons of his smile and happiness.
Is this what we call love?

For my heart now...
this world is becoming sick! Do all this is what...
we say to be in love with!! }

(Ektara is a musical  instrument  which is having one string that was and even is used in traditional indian musics)
