My insomnia got the best of me again.Ryder's arm was wrapped underneath my stomach and his thumb fiddled with my waistband while he was sleeping but that's not what woke me it was actually comforting.My night terrors came back, the same dream I had the other night I had again.

It always took place in the middle of a storm.A woman stood there and would caress my face and whisper something to my ear that would always catch me by surprise.My eyes would widen at the women's words and then all of a sudden her ginger hair would rise and her mouth would open revealing her many sharp shark like teeth and then she would scream.She would scream so loud that it could break the glass.I didn't know who the woman was or what she told me but I just knew that I've been having it for several weeks and I'd try to avoid sleeping just to avoid the dream.

I managed to slip out of Ryder's grip and hop off his bed.As soon as he lost grip he turned to his left side and shuffled in his pillow and covers.I slowly opened their dorm door and peeked into the halls to see no guards, so I rushed out of the room shutting its door loudly behind me and ran up the stairs to the girl's dormitory to go and prepare for the first period.

It was lunch so that meant it was time to fugue my punishment.So I followed the same path I had last night and reached the fenced concrete yard.Maddox was already being Scolded at by a grumpy middle aged man who I could only assume was Coach.He didn't seem intimidating at all but I bet he was going to force a lot of work on me.

I walked over to coach and Maddox so close that coach's spit was already smeared upon my face.Ew! I wipe it off with my sleeve.

"I've been waiting for you to show up it was only a matter of time" coach chuckled and then turned to me.

"Ahh, Aerona I presume, I've been expecting you."

"Great" I suck my teeth.

"And that little attitude of yours is the reason you're here so I'd behave if I were you" he warned and I shrugged it off.

"Both of you 10 laps around the track!" He ordered.

Ugh dammit, I could barely run a mile and he wanted me to run around a 100-foot track ten times.I roll my eyes and groan and drag my feet with my arms crossed.Maddox came from behind me and hit my shoulder with his as he passed.He turned his head backs and me and smiled.

"Sorry" he shrugged with a smug look on his face.Does this guy have a grudge on me or something because I rejected him?

"Pathetic" coach scoffs at my running as he walked to the side of me."Maddox is already on his third lap! I can be a lot worse than this Cruz I expect you to run...so RUN!" He spat and I glared at him and then started to jog lightly as I saw Maddox pass me for the fourth time.Damn this kid was fast I was barely on my first lap.

I finally reached my ninth lap and I needed a break I couldn't do it anymore.Maddox finished at least 10 minutes before me."C'mon Cruz! One more lap if you can't do this you can't do any of the other things I have prepared for you!" Coach shook his head.

"It's not her fault she's weak coach, she probably can't even do a push-up" Maddox nudges him.

I roll my eyes and finish my tenth lap and then rush to grab a water bottle nearby.Maddox and coach exchanged glances and Maddox shook his head and shrugged at my actions.I was breathless and was gasping for air as I placed my hand on my thighs.

"If you can't handle this I don't know how you're going to handle a sit up?" Coach sighs.

"What makes you think I can't do a sit up?" I ask, which was a stupid idea because I probably couldn't.

"Because you're a girl?" Maddox says as more of a question and plops on the ground to start his sit-ups so I sit beside him and get in the same position because just since I was a girl was the most sexist excuse I've ever head and I was going to prove him wrong.

"How many?" I ask.

"As much as you can" coach answers.

I glare at Maddox and start my sits ups which actually weren't that hard.I struggled more with the push ups we had to do later and I was surprised because I actually did do more sit ups than Maddox by like one just because I didn't want to give up.It's called being stubborn and I was proud about that.

I came back after my classes and repeated the same routine we did in our lunch period.I can't believe we have to do this for an entire week.

I dragged my feet up tot he girl dormitory not missing a flight of stairs his time and changed out of my uniform and into a plain white tee, my leather jacket, and lulu Lemmon leggings.

I was heading to the canteen for dinner and that's when I bumped into Scarlett and Lux.

"Aeronaaaa hey wanna sit with us?" Scarlett asks.I could see the fury in Lux's eyes as we glared at each other and I didn't want to be bothered to sit with her so I declined that offer and entered the canteen alone.

I was out of my mind bored with this place.It was so generic, I thought his place would be fun? Maybe they do let us off campus? I grabbed my slop of the day from the lunch lady and decided to sit with the guys today and drive a little attention to myself.

"Aerona" Hunter smirks "what brings you here?"

"Me obviously" Ryder widens his shoulders and smiles proudly.

"Don't flatter yourself Ryder" I say pushing my tray away from my chest."Question.Do you guys ever leave this place? Like off campus?" I ask.

"I wish" Ryder scoffs.

"The only way you could ever get off campus is if you snuck out" a random guy at the table informs me.

"So how do you guys have fun? It's not exactly full of life here."

"Well, usually we just all hang in our dorms" Hunter shrugs.

"Wow! Do you guys even have girlfriends? I mean girls must've snuck into your dormitory before right?" I ask not trying to throw substantial facts at myself.

"The only guy to pull that off successfully is Maddox" the random guy tells me and Ryder and Hunter both smirk in unison.

"Speak of the devil" Hunter says looking up to Maddox who has just sat at the table.

"What is she doing here?" He scoffs and I roll my eyes.

"What so I can't sit here now?"

"Whatever" he turns to his food and starts shoving the mush into his mouth.

"Anyway...then how about we sneak out?" I suggest intriguing at lot of the guys at the table."I don't really know my way around the place but I've got my ways around the benches"

"That's actually not a bad idea" Hunter nods.

"Where would we go?l Ryder asks.

"I've got my people" I smirk and remember hat I have Kartini on speed dial for these type of things."How about tomorrow night? Right before curfew, when we're supposed to be in the canteen"

"Yeah, that'll work" one of the guys say.

"But we can't all go at once...plus there's that old woman who works the front door" I say.

"Oh Miss Bland? she's a sweetheart you don't have to worry about her.She practically sleepers on the job anyway its headmaster who you have to watch out for." Hunter says.

"Doesn't headmaster leave the premises at nine every night?" Ryder asks.

"We'll just wait for him to leave and then we all sneak out in groups."

"We all gotta be back by at least one because that's when the guards lock up and then we wouldn't be able to sneak back in." The ransoms guy tells us.

"Then it's all set then, tomorrow night after nine we all sneak out of this place and I'll bring somewhere you'll lose your mind at and for some of you maybe your virginity" I smirk and all the guys smile at my plan.

"I like you" one of the guys point at me and I shrug with a smile and souless eyes.
