Kenneth's POV

I watch Lyn from the side as I drive the car. This part of Roman was really different from the Roman I know. I've been expecting to meet this part of him but I didn't expect our first encounter will be full of warnings. I was stunned knowing there is a wolf like Lyn to stand by Roman and protect him from anything. The wolf even gave me warning. It shows how strict it is in protecting Roman.

"What?" I ask Lyn as I notice she had said something but I didn't get it.

"I'm saying Roman will be up soon." She said and I bit my lip. I have to say sorry to him and I don't know how he will act at my actions.

"Don't give me that face." Lyn says then sigh. "I will help you out this time only. So when you mess up next time, know I won't help you."

I give her a nod and not sure what or how she will help. I continue driving and the thing I hear is Roman snoring slowly. I smile at the sight of a sleeping Roman. He looks cute and innocent. I like that about Roman. He's completely different from other omegas and I like different.

I sigh and continue driving. I wonder what will happen after we get were we are going. From the directions Lyn gave me, our destination is the Justice pack. The people there are friendly and the pack is one of many that are in my kingdom. Once we get close, I will link the alpha and tell him of our visit.

I hear a groan and look at Roman. He is just waking up and I'm pretty sure its not Lyn but Roman. I wonder what he will say if he finds out what I did. I watch him as he finally gets up completely and for a minute he looks in thought. He holds the bag to him closely and from the smell of it earlier, I know its food. He suddenly looks at me and smile.

"Can't wait!" He says happily and I scan our surroundings. I'm positive we are almost there, so I alert the alpha of the pack.

"Alpha Fred," I greet.

"King Kenneth?"

"Yes it's me."

"Alpha of Alphas, I greet you. How can I be of service?"

"I'm with my mate and we are visiting your pack. I just wanted to alert you of that."

"Is there any problem my King?"

"Not at all. Just visiting."

"Okay."

I cut the link and focus on my mate and the road before me. I remember that Roman said something and before he thinks I'm ignoring him, I give an answer.

"We are almost there. Just a few minutes to go." I say and after a few minutes indeed, we enter the Justice pack.

Just like always, there is a group of wolves running along side the car as they escort us to the pack house. Roman looks out the window with a smile and I just focus on arriving to the pack house already. I am very tired with being in the car for long. As we approach the pack house, the Alpha family comes out to greet us. I park the car and it is immediately opened by a warrior. I get out and walk around to Roman's side.

"Thanks." Roman whispers as he gets out of the car that I've opened a door for him. I close the door then hold Roman's hand in mine.

"You are welcome my King." Alpha Fred says with a bow and his family do the same.

"Thank you Fred." I say and they lead us inside the pack house.

"Perhaps my brother should show you to your room now, just in case you need some rest before dinner." Alpha Fred suggests and I nod at that. I really needed to rest and stretch my stiff muscles.

The boy leads the way and I follow with Roman. I've noticed the looks the boy has been giving my mate and I'm seconds away from snapping his head off for even thinking of doing anything inappropriate to my mate. I see him give my mate looks as he leads us to our room and the moment he licks his lips, I snap.

"Where the fuck is the room?" I ask angrily and ignore Roman as he scolds me for saying a bad word.

"We are here Alpha." The boy says with a smile, oblivious to my anger.

I open the door to the room and lead Roman inside then close it with me outside of it. Once I've secured Roman from his eyes, I turn to the boy and growl in his face. It takes him off guard as he didn't expect the assault.

"Don't you ever look in my mate's direction again. I will snap your neck if I catch you looking at him." I warn him with a growl.

"Y-yes Al-alpha." He stutters and I take a step back from him. The moment he has the space, he runs away from the place like a wet dog with its leg between the legs. He should be thankful I have manners. Other alphas would have just killed him at the spot.

"Ken," Roman's voice brings me out of my thoughts and I enter the room we were given for the night.

"I bath first then you." He tells me as he removes his upper body clothing and leave it bare. My eyes trail on his body and I feel myself getting excited. I look away from him to at least try and calm my raging hormones.

"Oh okay." I say and he skips to the bathroom humming a tune.

I sigh as I see my now visible problem downstairs. I don't understand why I'm feeling so attracted to Roman this much today. Or perhaps that stupid boy triggered it. My wolf might be threatened at someone trying to take our mate from us and he wishes to just mark him now. But I can't mark Roman now, its not yet time. But his body looked so inviting and I just wanted to run my tongue to lick and su-. I groan at the thought as I feel my member twitch in anticipation.

I hear the door to the bathroom open and on instinct, I turn to it. Roman comes out just wrapped in a towel. I swallow hard at the sight before me and he looks at me then shyly look down at his feet.

"Me forgot clothes." He whispers and I groan. Just when he takes clothes to change into all the time, it had to be today while I'm struggling from mounting him that he forgot his clothes and come out looking Romalicious and mouth watering.

"I will have Alpha Fred send someone to bring us some clothes to change into. I will take my bath now. You wait on the bed and make sure you are fully covered when answering the door." I tell him and enter the bathroom only to gasp at the sight. Roman. My mate is truly different.

"Can you send an omega to bring us some clothes to change into?" I ask Alpha Fred and I make sure he heard the word omega. I didn't want him sending any dominant and have them give my mate goo goo eyes. In the state I'm in at the moment, I might end up killing someone.

After getting an okay from the alpha, I start cleaning the bathroom as much as I can so that I can bath. To say its a mess is an understatement. I'm not sure if he really took a bath or just crush things in here. I clean as much then take a shower. I scrub myself clean and think of dirty bad things to make my boner disappear. I didn't want to risk it by having my hand help me out.

I growl as I smell the earlier boy's scent the moment I get out of the bathroom. I look to the bed and find Roman dressed in some outfit. I stalk to him and sniff out. I growl loudly when I find the source of the disgusting smell. My mate is wearing the fuckers clothes.

"Get those fucking clothes off you." I yell at Roman and he looks at me with a look that I'm not in the mood of to read it.

"Why? Me like it Ken." He says with a smile and brings up a part of the shirt to his nose and sniff it.

Something snaps in me and I lunge at my mate. I hold him by his waist and throw him on the bed. He yelps at the action and I immediately straddle his his hips. My right hand changes into a claw and I use them as I trail a line from his neck to his waist. I tore off the shirt he had on and throw it away. I lean down and smell his neck but the disgusting smell is still on him.

"You still smell like him." I whisper at his ear and he give out a small whimper. I trail my wet tongue from his ear and down to his neck.
"But I guess I have to change that. Nothing of mine smells none other than me." I murmur and so I start scent marking my beautiful mate.

I stop my movements the moment I smell nothing of the boy on him. I smile and get off the bed. I get his boxers and put them on him. Then I grab the shirt I wore earlier and put it on him. It passes his knees, so I'm sure it will be okay to just wear it and the boxers.

"Ken?" I look at Roman as he lay on the bed. I search his face for any sign of fear but see none. I sigh in relief knowing my actions didn't scare him.
"I hear 'help'." He says and it takes me a minute to figure out what he is implying on. The call for help.

"Do you know where to go?" I ask and he nod.

"We go now?"

"Yes love. Let's get going."

I have no shirt on me just trousers. I carry my mate and reminds me to take his bag of food with me. I pick the bag and exit the room. We walk down the corridor and reach the sitting room from earlier. I stop walking when I feel something off.

"Fred what is happening?" I ask and he immediately comes in the room I'm in.

"Alpha King, there was an attack on the pack a while ago." He says and I growl in anger. What the hell happened?

"And you didn't alert me?"

"I tried to do that but your link was broke off. I couldn't get through to you." He says and I groan. The fucking scent marking distracted me.

"What's the damage?"

"Ten warriors that were on patrol were killed and no one survived. We are not sure yet if the trespassers are still here or gone." He explains and Ran groans. I look down at him in my arms and I can feel Fred looking at us too.

"Let go." He whispers and I remember we were just heading out earlier.

"I will be back soon Fred. Make sure I have all the details when I get back." I tell him then walk out with my mate.

He gives me directions and I walk us there. The moment I see the house we are going to, I feel something is not right here. I walk toward the house and find the front door open. I push in and find the inside messy. I stand my mate on his feet and we both just look around. Suddenly, Roman starts running in a direction and I immediately follow.

"Roman stop running!" I shout at him but he doesn't listen. He comes to a door and push it open. There are signs of struggle in the room and it looks no one is in here.

"Let's go. There's nothing here."

"No." Roman says and he bends down and open the closet in the room. He starts pushing the clothes and I start helping him. At the back of it, we find a door and I break it and get inside. I hear a whimper and Roman pushes me aside and rush in the room to the figure on the floor.

"I here to help." He says and the figure looks up at him. They stare at each other for a moment then they embrace each other. It's an omega so I don't worry much about them hugging. He's also not a threat.

"I didn't know you would come." The boy tells Roman.

"What happened here?" I ask and he looks at me. He looks at Roman and with a nod from my mate, the boy explains to me.

"There were strange men here earlier and they took my brother away."

"Were they looking for your brother?" I ask.

"No. They were looking for the healer. Me." He replies and I just stand there as wheels starts turning in my head.

A Rolyn can communicate with other healers. My mate hearing the help sounds from nowhere. My mate leading us to this place. All because he was feeling the pull from this healer before me. Why the hell didn't I figure it out earlier.

"If you are the healer, why did they take your brother? For how long have they been gone?" I ask the boy but then I realise something too.

This is a recent incident and if we can investigate fast, we might find crews. But I can't do it all on my own. I need the assassins here and right away.

"Code red. Location, Justice Pack. Be here as fast as the wind."
