Harry's pov:

"To what do I owe the pleasure, Mr. Potter?" McGonagall asked as soon as I entered her office. "I would like to speak with you about a possible career option." She nodded, pointing me to a chair. "Have a biscuit Mr. Potter. I thought you wanted to be an auror?" I made a face, taking a biscuit because I knew it wasn't a question, and shook my head. "No headmistress, I have spent the last eighteen years fighting off bad guys. I don't feel it's necessary for me to do that the rest of my life."

She nodded again, smiling at me. "I understand that, and appreciate it greatly. Being an auror is a great career choice, but I've had to sit back and watch your life be at risk enough Mr. Potter. What is it that you want to do?" I was nervous to tell her, but I knew she was the best one to talk to. "I was thinking about being a teacher here professor, I know the defense against the dark arts position is only temporarily filled. I think I would do well in a classroom, better than out dealing with bad guys."

She smiled widely at this, and I was sure she could see me visibly relax at this. "That is a wonderful idea Mr. Potter. As long as you pass your defense N.E.W.T at the end of this year you will be more than welcome to teach in my school." I smiled widely, and got up to hug her. "Thank you headmistress! I won't let you down." She hugged me back a little tighter than usual, "I know you won't Harry."

I quickly ran down to the great hall, rushing over to the gryffindor table. Draco must've seen me because he rushed over as well. "Hey love, you worried me, where were you?" I beamed up at him, "I was in the headmistress's office, guess what guys!?" Pansy and Blaise were sitting next to Neville and I smiled at that too. "Well go on then we don't have all day." Pansy shot at me and I chuckled. "As long as I pass my defense N.E.W.T. I will be a professor here next year." Hermione clapped and smiled widely.

"Oh Harry I'm so proud of you! I was hoping you would finally talk to her!" Draco smiled and kissed my cheek, "so we can torment students together then." My smile dropped for a second, "wait what?" Draco chuckled, "I already spoke to McGonagall earlier this year, since I don't have much chances becoming an auror, you know ex deatheater stuff. I'm going to be the potions professor." I beamed at him once more, hugging him tightly. "Oh my gosh I'm so happy to hear that!"

"I am taking over for professor Sprout next year as well." We all looked over in shock, mainly because we hadn't expected Professor Sprout to leave. "I always knew you'd one day teach herbology. I'm proud of you mate!" Ron chimed in, and he looked at me and Draco. "I'm proud of you two as well!" Everyone was smiling.

A year or so ago, if you'd have asked any of us what we were going to be doing with our future we all wouldn't have had an answer. None of us knew if we were going to be alive or not by the time May came we really lost all hope of a future. Now we all have plans, and I couldn't be happier with the way things are going

I instantly regretted being happy. Only because now, Astoria was pinning me in a broom closet. "Harry darling. Hold still." I shoved her back into the door, "not a chance you twat. Get the hell away from me-"

Then everything went black.

When I woke up I was in the hospital wing. "Astoria?!" I shrieked, looking around the hospital wing. "Why do you want her?" Malfoy asked me and I glared at him, "get away from me Malfoy. Where's Astoria?!"

"I'm here baby, I'm here." My head snapped up and I smiled widely. "Tori!" She walked over and kissed me and I smiled widely, kissing her back instantly. "I love you so much!" She kissed my nose, "I love you too Harry baby." Malfoy grabbed her by the arm, and she winced in pain. "What did you do to him?!" He shouted, pushing her away from me.

I pulled out my wand, pointing it at Malfoy. "Get away from her Malfoy. Now." I said through gritted teeth. "Ms. Greengrass. Did you give Harry Amortentia?" Tori blushed and hung her head in shame, "maybe.."

Everyone in the room gasped, "that's okay, I'm glad she did. I love you Tori." I reassured her, pulling her close. Malfoy looked pissed, he threatened to hex her brains out before following Madam Pomfreys orders and going to get the counter potion. I kept my hold on Tori.

Draco eventually came back, and they forced me to take the counter potion. "Draco I'm so sorry, I didn't know I-" Draco kissed me, cutting me off. "Harry it's okay. It's alright you were drugged it's not your fault calm down." Then he glared at Astoria, "please explain to me, what the FUCK you were thinking?!" She flinched at his tone, and sighed. "I am heartbroken okay. It's no excuse to drug someone and Harry I truly am sorry, you too Draco I should've never done that. I was just hurt that you didn't want me. So I wanted to hurt you."

"As touching as that confession is Ms. Greengrass. You will be getting a suspension and your wand taken. You won't have to leave grounds, but you will be stuck in your dorm except for meal times. If anything like this happens again, you will be expelled immediately." McGonagalls voice interrupted and I smiled as Astoria mumbled in disbelief. McGonagall sent Astoria to her dorm after taking her wand, and that left me and Draco alone.

"Women scare me." I mumbled making Draco laugh, "me too love. Me too. Don't worry I won't let anyone else hurt you ever again.

A/N I feel this chapter is very messy but I wasn't sure what I wanted Astoria to do.
