Ann's POV:

We left Gary's office and started to walk down the hallway, having Gary lead us back out. I looked at Lily as she studied the hallway, looking at the scratches on the wall. She started to drift her hand down the walls as she looked ahead. Gary turned around as he eyed Lily with a stern look.  "You shouldn't keep your hands on the walls. I don't know what they put in them, but I don't want to attract any vampires" he said, as Lily took her hand off the wall. She looked at me in a depressed look as she sighed. "Sorry" she said, as Gary waved it off.  "It's alright. Hurry, we need to get out of here" he said, as we started to pick up the pace. I went into the folder and started to follow our steps with the map of the vampire section.  I started to drag behind as I flipped through the binder as I bumped into someone.  "Oh my. I'm sorry" I said, as I looked up, seeing a young boy with short blond hair.  He had green eyes and blond hair. He wore a little waiter's uniform and a nice pair of non slick shoes.  The boy looked up at me as he cracked a smile. "Oh, that's ok miss" he said as he looked up at me.  I sighed as I spoke.  "No it's not. I should look to see where I was going" I said, as the boy sighed. "It's fine. I don't have a problem with it."  He held out his hand as he smiled. "Wayne" he said, as I looked at him.  "What?" I said as I got distracted.  "My name is Wayne. What's yours?" he said,  as I snapped out of my confusion.   I grabbed his hand as I spoke. "My name is Ann" I said, as I turned to Lily.  Lily smiled as she got to his level and shook his hand. "My name's Lily. I'm Ann's best friend. But we're more like sisters than friends" she said, as Wayne's smile got bigger. "Wow" he said, as he jumped up on Lily and wrapped his arms around her to hug her.  Gary cleared his throat, catching Wayne's attention. "Oh, sorry your still in the meeting" he said, as I looked at Gary.  He looked at me in frustration as I spoke. "What? I'm not doing anything this time" I said, as I felt a tongue lick behind my ear. I screamed thinking it was a spider as I pulled away from the being and turned around.

Standing behind me was a tall man, with grey hair and a red stripe in his bangs. He had green eyes that looked a little more haunting than Wayne's.  He had little fangs that peeked out of his mouth. He smiled down at me as he spoke.  "I didn't know Gary was bringing women with him" he said, in excitement, like it was a party.  Gary cleared his throat as he spoke. "Luke. Shouldn't you be in your den with your brother?" he asked as the boy sighed. "Awe. But Gary, I woke up from this girl's sent, and I just had to track it" he said, as he turned to me. "And she's a beauty" he said, as he cracked a smile.  I stared up at him as Lily spoke next. "Oh, Ann. This boy might" she said, as I eyed her. "No. Don't speak of anything boyfriend wise" I said, as I turned back to the boy. "I'm sorry, we need to get going.  It was nice meeting you" I said, as I looked at Gary. "Shall we continue?" I asked, as Gary nodded. Lily sighed as she turned to the boy. "I'm sorry. She grew up with brothers. She doesn't know what it's like to have a boyfriend" she said, with a sigh.  The boy sighed as he shook his head.  "Ok. It's too sad she doesn't know what's it' s like. She tasted delicious" he said, as he sighed again. Gary put his hands on his hips as he looked at him.  "Luke. Go back to your den now. Good night" he said, as he pushed Lily behind me. "Ann wait up" Lily said as I turned back around. Her and Gary were jogging up to catch me. I turned around as I started to walk again. "Careful Ann. You don't know what they put in here" he said, as he eyed my arm.  I looked at my arm seeing it dragging up against the wall. "Oh my" I said, as I pulled away from it.  Gary looked shocked as he grabbed my hand. "Why's it' he said, as he pulled up my sleeve.  His eyes grew shocked as he gasped. "Please don't be. Not now" he said, as he bent down and smelt it.  Gary sighed as he spoke. "Oh good, it doesn't seem fresh" he said, as he dropped my hand.  "Ok, let's continue" he said, as we continued to follow him out.
