Yibo and his dad were chilling at home when the doorbell rang, "I'll check."

Yibo said as he walked towards the front door and when he opened it he saw that it was Steve, his smile dropped when he saw him and he tried to shut the door but Steve prevented him by stepping his foot in and said, "Come brother let's talk a bit."

"I don't want to." Yibo said as he tried to shut the door, but Steve pushed back harder.

"Yibo who is it?" his dad asked which made him a little distracted Steve took advantage of it and barged inside the house, Yibo stumbled back a little and by this time his dad had come to him as well.

When he looked at Steve, his face became firm and he asked angrily, "What are you doing here?!"

Steve smiled and said, "I came to meet my brother is that wrong?"

"Yes, because he is not your brother now get out," Kevin said.

Steve sighed as he clenched his fists and said, "Old man, mind your tongue I want to talk to Yibo."

"You can't talk to my father like that Steve," Yibo said sternly, Steve smiled and said. "I won't take much of your time, there is something I want from you. I know that you have been working with the Xiao's why don't you ask him to give me a job as well."

"Absolutely not," Yibo said without any hesitation, that place was his safe haven, he loved his co-workers and Zhan, and he absolutely adored that place, Tina had already made him angry in the past because she was working for the Xiao's as well but there was no way he was going to let Steve come there as well and ruin his safe haven, he wanted garbage away from the place he adored.

Steve was flabbergasted after he heard such a straightforward reply from Yibo and said, "What?"

"I said no I am not going to help you," Yibo said he didn't want Steve or anyone from his family near Zhan or the company or any of his friends.

Yibo's father smiled proudly and said, "You heard him, now get out of my property before I call the cops."

"Shut Up!" Steve yelled as he glared at Yibo, "How dare you-"

"That's enough get out!" Kevin yelled as he moved closer to Steve and said, "I am going to call the cops if you are not out of here in seconds."

Steve got so angry that he pushed Kevin but Yibo caught him and glared at Steve with rage, this was the first time he had seen Steve with so much anger, he was about to charge at Steve before someone else came inside the room and twisted Steve's hand and threw him out of the house.

Steve yelled and struggled but the person had a death grip on his hand and nearly broke it, He finally let Steve go when they were out, Steve yelled and tried to punch the man but the man dodged it and punched Steve so hard that he fell on the ground and lost consciousness and the man called the cops.

He then turned to Yibo and his father, who looked at him with a little shock and he said, "I am sorry for the sudden intrusion, My name is Wen Ning and Mr. Xiao has assigned me as your bodyguard."

"Zhan, why did you send a bodyguard? I do not need it." Yibo asked as Zhan walked inside the house, Yibo's father and Wen Ning had already informed him about everything, and without Yibo calling him he was already at the house.

And once he saw Yibo, he hugged him and kissed him, and checked if he was okay or not.

"Yibo, the bodyguard is there for my mental peace and my heart health as well." Zhan said, "Just bear with it for a few days please." Zhan then made a puppy face and said, "Please baby cheeks."

Yibo sighed and Zhan said, "As for Steve I am going to sue him for trespassing and assault, let's see where he gets a job after he has a record, and for a few days please don't answer calls from any unknown numbers, or from your mother or your step-father."

Yibo sighed, "You already blocked them all on my phone. But Zhan I don't want a bodyguard."

"Fine then." Zhan said, "You won't have a bodyguard only if you live with me."

Yibo smiled and said, "But I want to live with my dad as well."

"Fine, then I can move in with you."

Yibo giggled as he loved the idea, "is that really okay with you? My house is not bug as yours."

"That's perfect, but you okay with my request, and what about your dad."

"Oh, I am perfectly fine son." Kevin said and Zhan and Yibo both looked at him he just smiled and said, "Go ahead, continue pretending that I am just air, and you can't see me, go on being lovey-dovey."

Zhan and Yibo both laughed before Yibo said, "Sorry, dad."

Zhan spoke, "Are you sure that's okay with you sir?"

"Yes, why not, I am perfectly fine with it."

Over the past few days Zhan took care of Steve as well as the case, Yibo's mother and stepfather had tried to reach out to him and Kevin but it was useless as they can only communicate through a lawyer.

Henry knew that once the case was on, his son's reputation would be tarnished, and it would be hard for him to get a job on his own.

While Martha was calling Kevin and Yibo for some other reason.

"Martha is asking me for money. This is the reason why she has been trying to contact me and Yibo." Kevin spoke to Zhan as the two sipped some coffee. Ever since Yibo started to hate tea, no one brought tea at home, and neither mentioned it before him.

Zhan smiled and said, "Oh I see. She must be really desperate to have reached out to you. What are you going to do uncle?"

Kevin smirked and said, "I am going to sit back and enjoy the drama. Well, done, by the way. I am really impressed."

Zhan nodded, "I am glad."

Kevin spoke, "it's about time these people face karma."

"Indeed."
