Yibo had already finished packing his bags when something else happened, his mother, step-father, and step-brother barged into the house and as soon as they saw Yibo, his mother started to yell at him, "What kind of behavior is this Yibo! You left the job at my company; you did not answer my calls and messages and you did not come home and now you are demanding divorce!

What has happened to you? What the fuck is wrong with you?! And where are you going, huh, keep your bags down and talk to Tina, no one is getting a divorce."

Tina soon came out of her room as well and her own parents had arrived at the scene, she ran and hugged her mother while Tina's father was furious as he went to Yibo and grabbed his collar, "How dare you make my daughter cry! How can you treat her like this!"

Yibo struggled and moved back, getting out of the grasp of Tina's father. Yibo looked at everyone and felt intimidated and a little alone, but he knew that Zhan was waiting for him and he was eager to get to him, he didn't want to waste time any longer and wanted to be with Zhan as fast as he could.

"Mom, I am going to divorce Tina, since she does not like me anyway and I am not happy with her. I am going to move out and she can keep the house and the reason why I left your company was because I got a better opportunity."

His mother Martha became furious and said, "How can you be so selfish huh! You have always made me disappointed! You have always put me down! And now you are even going as far as to break such a good relationship. Have you lost your mind? I am so done with you."

Yibo nodded and said, "I know mom, I know that you hate me and I know that you do not like me." Yibo's heart was pounding way too much and he felt like he was going to have a heart attack because he felt anxious and scared this was the first time he was going to say something back to his mother and was going to stand up for himself but when he thought about Zhan he got the courage because he knew that after this tough task, he can be with Zhan.

"I know that you hate me and I can never be good in your eyes, no matter what I do, what I say, I can never make you happy because you hate me and everything, I do is annoying to you, hence I will do you a favor as well and get out of your life, I will not contact you anymore and not be a burden on you anymore.

Mom, I am not going to bother you anymore, I hope that you can live your life happily without being burdened by me." His mother's eyes widened when she heard that and she did not know what to say after that.

Everyone was quite shocked to hear it and Yibo grabbed his bag and tried to walk to the door but Tina tried to stop him, "You can't go!"

Her father said as well, "You can't leave her! Why don't you guys sit and have a talk and resolve the issues?! There is no way this issue cannot be resolved! Why are you breaking this marriage? Is it worth it?"

"Yes." Yibo said as he grabbed his bag and said, "Getting a divorce is worth it because I am in love with someone else and I want to stay with them. I want to spend my life with them, besides mom, I only married Tina because you had asked me to and even then, you did not become happy, I guess that after I leave your life you will be satisfied." Yibo said as he grabbed his bag and quickly went out of the door. His family followed him but couldn't catch up to him as he sat in Zhan's car and Zhan did not waste time and drove the car away.

Once Yibo was in the car he took a deep breath, his hands were cold and his face was pale, he was so scared but he felt relieved and he felt light, he smiled as he looked at Zhan, "I did it."

"You did it."

"On my own."

Zhan proudly smiled and said, "on your own. I am proud of you baby cheeks," Zhan gently held Yibo's hand and squeezed it. Zhan had wanted to go with Yibo to talk with Tina but Yibo didn't want Zhan to meet Tina and it was honestly to see his baby cheeks get jealous. And so, Zhan did not got with Yibo to see Tina.

Zhan dropped Yibo to his dad's house, and Yibo asked, "You are not coming?"

Zhan smiled and said, "I have some urgent things to take care of. I will see you soon okay?"

"Okay." Yibo said and walked to his dad's house once Zhan saw that Yibo was inside he drove his car to his office, where he was met with his brothers, Ziyi, A-Xiang, Zhehan, and Yanli, and said, "so... let's get to work."

"On it." They all said.

Zhan sat in his seat and said, "First thing is that I want help in dealing with Tina and the rest of the family in case they try something against Yibo, and the second thing that I want to take care of  Yibo's birthday."

"What do you plan for his birthday?" Simon asked, and Zhan smiled, "I want to take him for a trip."

Marius smiled, "that's a wonderful idea."

They all discussed some things and made plans about Yibo's birthday and to deal with Tina in case anything went wrong.

Yibo was with his dad, "I am so proud of you son." He said as he ate his food, Yibo smiled and said nothing.

Martha had called Yibo's dad a hundred times but his dad had just blocked her number and asked Yibo to block them as well and only communicate through a lawyer and not to get involved on his own.

Yibo agreed and did as he was told.

Meanwhile, the situation at Tina's side was not good as her parents yelled at her, her father said, "Just how dumb you are! What did you do that he is divorcing you!"

Her mother shook her head as well and said, "You can't even keep your husband happy? You should have put effort and kept him satisfied, Tina what have you done."

Tina cried as she listened to the accusations and her father finally said, "I don't care what you do or say, I don't want this divorce to happen."

Tina clenched her fists, she couldn't afford the divorce as well, because her father had said to her that he would only allow her to work in the company if she got married and not that she was getting a divorce, her father who already treats her like a disgrace might disown her or might try to make her marry someone else.

She wiped her tears and said, "I will do my best to make it up to him." It's not like she had any other choice, she had to make things work.

The next few days she tried to reach Yibo and even asked for help from Martha but it was impossible, then Martha offered to take her to Yibo's dad's place and the two ladies went there to meet Yibo.

But they were met with Yibo's father Kevin, who was not happy to see them, "what do you guys want?" he asked and Martha said, "I want to see my son."

"But he does not want to see you."

"I refuse to believe it."

"Believe what? That he is no longer your puppet." Kevin laughed and said, "Martha, wake up, you no longer can abuse him."

Martha clenched her fists and said, "I want to see him! He is my son! You can't keep him away from me!"

Kevin laughed which infuriated her even more, "I am not doing anything it's his choice and you are just pissed that you can't do anything, he is an adult and you can't force him to meet you. You see Martha in the end he chose me. Even after all your attempts to separate us my son and I are still inseparable and you are just a pathetic woman, get lost and stop wasting our time."

Martha got angry but before he could say anything Zhan came there and asked, "Have you prepared for the trip uncle?" Yibo was with him as well, the two hadn't seen Martha and Tina yet.

"Yibo." Tina finally called out to him and the two finally noticed her and Martha.

Martha said, "Yibo I have been trying to reach you! Where have you been? How can you be so ungrateful and selfish and ignore your mother like this?"

Yibo sighed and said nothing but he moved closer to Zhan, and Tina tried to reach him, "Yibo please let's talk, please don't take any decision so hastily."

Yibo clenched his fists and said nothing while his mother asked, "And what is this trip that you guys are planning about."

None of them answered her, so she asked again, "Tell me!"

Kevin sighed and said to them, "let's go inside, these bitches are making my tears ache."

"Kevin!"

Suddenly Zhan spoke, "We are actually going on a trip for Yibo's birthday I am sure you didn't even remember that."

Martha looked at him and said, "Then me and my family and Tina can also join you guys we are family and we should celebrate it together."

"Ah... why not, of course, you guys are family." Zhan said, "You guys are most welcome to join us."

Both Yibo and Kevin looked at Zhan unable to understand what he meant.

Martha nodded, "Tina and Yibo can spend time together and also become more relaxed, I am hoping that Yibo will become more relaxed after this trip and can think better."

"Of course, please invite your son and Yibo's cousin as well, it will be a great trip."

Martha said, "Sure."

Zhan smiled and said, "I am going to forward you all the details also don't worry about the tickets I will take care of the cost."

Martha and Tina nodded before they gave one last glance to Yibo and left.

After they were gone Kevin asked, "Have you lost it? What was that about!"

Zhan smirked and said, "Uncle just trust me." Yibo looked at Zhan but said nothing and just smiled, he trusted Zhan so he was not worried about anything.
