Y A S M I N

Everything had been parked, the driver took them to the car. I watched the house, I feel like I'm living the house for forever. A hand touch my shoulder.

"Shall we"

"Yes" I said letting out a sharp breathe.

The drive to the airport was not so quite, as Amir couldn't stay calm, even the the a month of toys I gave him but the boy was still jumping up and down, he's growing up being stubborn nowadays.

"Can we cope with Amir like this" I whispered to Marwan, who was seated at the front.

"Of course we can, he's now a big boy right Amir?" he turned his face and glanced at Amir, who was busy playing with the drivers seat pocket, hearing his father's voice his head snapped towards him, stopping at was he was doing.

"Don't worry Yasmin, it's nothing to worry about, beside I'll be with him too" As if he's saying the truth. when he start his work, he wouldn't even remember Amir nor me but I hope this little vacation will at least get him closer to him. I lean my head on the back seat, closing my eyes. I'll take a nap before we reached the airport.

We arrived at the airport and I'm glad we left the house on time as the plan with take off in the next five minutes. I readjust a sleeping Amir to my chest. we passed through the required check up and we we're lead inside the plane. Entering the VIP part, the coolness of the plane came in contact with my skin. I'm glad Amir is wearing his cardigan. I placed him gently in the room closing the door quietly behind me. I slouched myself beside Marwan sitting more comfortably.

"Will you be okay?" Marwan asked, taking out his iPad. I resist the urge to roll my eyes.

"You know it's not my first time" a smirk appear on his lips.

"Wow, so-" before he could finish his sentence, I glared at him and that shut his mouth.

"I'll take a nap, wake me up later." I said closing my eyes.

"Wake up Farah, we're about to land" I heard Marwan faint voice calling my name. peeling my eyes open,I was met with his eyes staring into mine. He was so close that I'm feeling his breath on my face.

"Get ready, let me go get Amir I know he must be awake now." I hummed in return, my brain not completely back from the sleep. I glanced at my wrist watch. I slept so well.

Marwan came back with Marwan in his arms. After the announcement, the plane finally lands. Stepping my foot outside, I inhale a sharp breath.

"Welcome to Malaysia" I said with a grin. I can't wait to meet my family.

"You know it's not my first time too" he said. so he's copying me.

"I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to my boy, a peck Amirs cheek a little who had been watching the surrounding. I know he must be wondering, where is this place.

" Let me hail a taxi" I said moving towards the direction of the road

"No need for that, have you forgotten who your husband is" my brows cringe in question.

"Don't worry, a car will pick us" just as he said, a car drove through stopping in front of us, a young man came out of the car.

"Welcome Sir" he bowed his head a little. I have almost forgotten who my husband is. Taking our luggage from the side, he set them inside the both opening the door for us. Marwan sat at the front while me and Amir are seated at the back. I told the young man my address.

The drive to my house was in silence, as I was so preoccupied with my thoughts. How will Mom react if she see Marwan? will she like him. I was so engrossed with the thoughts that I didn't notice we have arrived.

The driver help us with the luggage to the front door. I thanked him even though he doesn't seem to be bother by it.

"Are you nervous" I asked seeing his face was not like before.

"I had to be, I don't know what your mom will think about me. You know how our marriage-" I cut him off by placing my hands on his, assuring him everything will be okay. I'm not very sure too but I hope everything will turn out good.

"Don't worry she will like you" he watched me for a split second before letting out a smile.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes"

I pressed on the door bell. I know mom must be wondering who it is this late night, but I know she will be happy.

"Coming" I heard her shout through the door.

'Who is-" her words died down and her eyes widen.

"Yasmin" she called embracing me in a hug. "What a surprise" she added. I really miss my mom.

"How are you?" she asked breaking the hug.

"I'm fine"

Her eyes moved towards Marwan and her expression changes.

"Oh you came together with your husband" her face broke into a smile. I almost had an heart attack. I'm glad she didn't show any dislike towards him, at least for now.

"Assalamu Alaikum" Marwan greeted.

"Wa Alaikum salam, cute boy how are you." Amir stared at her for a while before muttering 'fine'

"You guys should come in, I know you must be tired"

She lead us inside closing the door quietly behind her. "Make yourself comfortable" she said. so she also noticed.

"Thank you" Marwan answered politely. After she went away to the kitchen. I turned my attention to him.

"I told you, she will like you so don't worry." I whispered. He cupped my face with one hand, I smashed his hands away watching my surrounding.

"Stop it, you know Amir is here and what if Mom comes out and see us in this position" A chuckle escape his lips.

"It's not like we're doing something bad, we're husband and wife." a blush made it way out of my lips, hearing him say husband and wife. Just then Mom came back with a glass of cold drink.

"Sorry I didn't know you were coming so I didn't prepare food"

"It's okay"

After all the small talks, we retired back to our room. Amir will be sharing room with Mom while I'll share with Marwan.

"Your room is clean, I like that" he said slouching himself on the bed.

"Of course, I'm not a lazy person" I retorted back rolling my eyes.

"Come here" he said. my brows furrowed in confusion not understanding his statement. He pulled me and I land on his hard chest.

"This is what I mean." he answered.

"You know I love it, you being in my arms while sleeping" a ting of blush made it way to my cheeks. My body relaxes, I also like the position. I'll forever be in his arms without needing anything more. His love is enough for me. I closed my eyes letting sleep take me, In the arms of my husband.
