Austin's POV~

''N-new coach?w-why?'' almost everyone said at once.

''Simply because I think Coach Travis may be able to help you be the best. So make sure you listen to everything he says.''

''Yes Coach!!!'' everyone said.

He nodded, ''Good. Coach, may you introduce yourself?''

Mr. Percival Travis thanked Coach Hillman for the opportunity and stepped forward, ''I'm honored to be chosen as your coach. My ways may be new to you but I expect you to do them nonetheless. I also expect respect from you so I won't let any back talks go unpunished.''

''This is my daughter by the way.'' he said motioning to the purple headed girl wearing a different uniform than Sally-san and Sylvia-san were wearing and had purple eyes. I didn't her notice until now, ''she'll be working as a manager for the team since Ms. Raimon left for America to study as some of you know.''

''Nice to meet you all. I'm Camellia Travis.'' she said bowing.

He then opened up the notebook he was carrying, ''In here are the names of the selected players for Japan's Representatives.''

We all tensed. I know I may not be worthy to be called, but I was hoping I'll get picked. My sister gave her all training me and preparing me for this day and I did my best out there. I want to get in for her, so she can be really proud of me.

If I get to play at the world stage, I can show the skills I've developed because of her, then they can see how great my sister is. So please let them pick me...please.

''Here are the names:''

It was dead silent as everybody listened to every single word Coach said.

''Axel Blaze, Xavier Foster, Jude Sharp, Shawn Frost.''

It wasn't a surprise they were called. Axel is the best striker in Japan. Xavier was one of the players of Alieus Academy and Jude and Shawn are just plain great players.

''Nathan Swift, Scotty Bunyan, Hurly Kane, Thor Stoutberg, Darren Lacchance, Jordan Greenway, Archer Hawkins, Jack Wallside, Todd Ironside, Marc Evans, Caleb Stonewall,''

There was only one slot left and I was starting to doubt that I'll ever be called. I closed my eyes and readily accepted the fact that I didn't do my sister proud.

''and Austin Knight. Congratulations for being chosen.''

Did I hear right? I was called?

I couldn't believe this! I was called! I was chosen to be a player, wait 'til nee-san hears about this!

Someone then tapped my shoulder, when I turned Marc-san was giving me a thumbs up. I thanked him and congratulated him too. By my right Caleb gave me a grin, so I smiled at him too.

After a series of ''congrats'' and handshakes, the one's who weren't called went home. By then Coach Travis asked us to listen.

He closed his eyes and looked at each of us, when he opened them he made a disappointment look, ''I have to be honest, your skills are bellow what I have expected for Japan's National players. In your current state, the world will just blow you away like a piece of paper. I don't think I can train you to be at the same level as the world by myself.''

We were all shocked of what he said but we couldn't bring ourselves to ask why.

''That's why I've invited someone who might be able help me.'' just then a brown haired girl with a bandage on her left wrist stepped in the scene. She was wearing glasses hiding the color of her eyes and wore a familiar uniform. It was a white blouse with sleeves that covered only three-fourths of her slender hands, topped with a black, vest that was connected to her short black skirt with violet linings and a black bow under her collar.

''She's your new Team Operator, Tactical Analyst, Manager, Trainer and Assistant Coach. She's one of the most talented person we know and she might help me get you into tip top condition to fight the world. We're lucky to have her services during the tournament, and your lucky you'll be able to train under her management because only a selected few have seen her talents and only a handful,'' he looked at me, '' have been trained by her.''

The girl stepped forward and grabbed her brown hair and glasses. It was only when I saw black hair flowed from her head that I realized that she was wearing a wig. And hidden behind her glasses, were a pair of sapphire eyes.

Why didn't I notice before?

''Everyone, this is Alexi Knight. Also known as the 'Oracle of the Field'.''

A sunny smile greeted me, ''It's an honor to meet you all.''

''It can't be.'' Caleb said as his eyes widened in shock.

''O-onee-san?''

''Hi Austin, that was an amazing game you played.''

Axel's POV~

I swear I did a double take when I saw her.

''O-onee-san?'' Austin said, it looks like he was just as surprised as we were.

''Hi Austin, that was an amazing game you played.'' she said with a smile.

''Oracle of the field'' They say she has analytical skills that are so precise she can determine what can/will happen in the game. And she's on our team?

''What are you doing here''? Austin asked.

''Didn't you here the coach? I'm part of the team now.''

''Excuse me Ms. Knight,'' Jude said, ''I'm honored to finally meet you.''

''As am I. Your techniques are amazing. I look forward to working with you.'' she looked at all of us, but when her eyes landed on me, she smiled at me making my cheeks feel a bit warm.

''It's you.'' she said making her way towards me.

''You've met him Alexi?'' Austin asked.

''Of course.'' she turned to me, ''Thank you for saving me back then. If it weren't for you, I would've broken my leg from the fall.''

''N-No problem.''

''W-what? Axel-san was the person who saved you?'' Austin asked. After she nodded, he went to me and said, ''Axel-san, thank you very much for saving her. I owe you big time.''

''N-no it was really nothing. Its not that big of a deal. I mean anybody would do it too.''

''Still thanks a lot.'' he said then he went back to his sister, apparently he still has some questions for her.

Speaking of which, Marc, Nathan, Shawn, Jude and Xavier just surrounded me and started asking some questions.

''What were they talking about Axel?'' Nathan asked.

I shrugged, ''Well, I was on my way here last Sunday, when I passed by the park. I saw Julia crying by the sakura tree so I went to check out if she was ok.  Turns out our cat was stuck up the tree and Ms. Knight was getting her down. But she slipped and fell, so I saved her.''

''Girls just fall into your arms, huh?'' Jude said with a smirk.

Everyone laughed, ''Your lucky though Axel, if I were you I would've asked her out, I'd like to get to know her some more.'' Xavier said surprisingly.

I looked at him and his expression was serious, ''She had somewhere to go. I didn't even get the chance to know her name the first time we met.''

Xavier raised a brow, ''So you're saying that if you had the chance, you would ask her out?''

There was a hint of challenge in his voice, ''Why?are you interested in her?'' I asked

''So what if I am?''

Before I could even answer, I heard Ms. Knight call our attention and said, ''Its time to get you guys settled in. Training camp starts tomorrow so we're giving you until 5:30 this afternoon to get all the things you needed for it. See you then.''

Heeyyy!!! I just wanted to thank my some of my fans who sent me those wonderful messages. You guys are awesome and I thank you for your support. I mean you’re right, I should just write for my own pleasure and enjoy what I love to do the most-writing!!!

Anyway, this is chapter 5. I must warn you on the following chapters though, I’m not going to put that much action on them but there will be a touch of romance coming in soon!!!
