Micheal, the life of our school. I have admired him afar since we were in kindergarten.
He was a cute little shy boy, sitting in the corner and colouring in his book.
I was the first person he talked to and I still remember the cute smile he blew me off with.
The prom committee is really working hard and I can see them pasting posters and handing out pamphlets to the students.
Prom is in one week, and after endless words of courage and intense planning, my friends and I have perfected a beautiful proposal.
I hope he likes it.

Thank god to JCPenny who helped me get the perfect prom dress. It's black, off shoulder with lace in the chest area and a long slit from knee.
The moment I saw it, I ordered it right away.

So now the promposal....
I can see the love of my life, talking away with his friends and is blessing me with his angelic laughter.
My friend Maya says "Olivia please stop ogling at the poor guy, sweep him off his feet will ya?"
I nod my head and look at him one last time and walk towards him having my head held up high.
I can see his friend Jason, from biology class to give me a wave.
I smile at him and at that moment Jacob turns to look at me.

I swear I felt someone knocked me off and I forgot how to breathe at that instant. I kind of started hyperventilating, thanks to my friends who came out of their positions and started the song.

After hearing the music, I close my eyes and get into the rhythm. And start dancing pouring my heart and soul into the moves. As we practiced, they gave away and I walked straight towards the boy, who is looking so cute with his scrunched up nose and wrinkled forehead.

I try to twirl, but my legs give away, he catches me and I say "Thanks!"
And stabilise myself and close my eyes taking in some breath. I open my eyes to see him smile and he says "Olivia what's all this?"
I smile and sit down on my knee and say "I know as cliché it sounds, I fell in love with you the day I saw you in the kindergarten. So would you make me the most luckiest girl and....."
I motion him to look back and there my dear friends have placards reading "Will you be my prom date?"
And I can see him visibly gulping and open his mouth and look at me. I get up and say "So will you?"
He says "Eager are we?"
He kneels down and takes a small box out of his jacket pocket.
He opens it and chuckles looking it and says "Before that, will you be my girlfriend?"
And ladies and gentlemen that's when I fainted in front of the love of my life.
And was literally sweeped off my feet.
