ENDING NOTE

the third book of the hawkins rejects series has been completed, and that means we are halfway along our journey with the delaneys & co! once again, thank you for reading, voting and commenting throughout. i have to admit that i struggled writing season 3, as it has always been my least favourite. but i got my inspiration back in the end, and alas, we made it to the end. having said that, writing underworld has made me appreciate aspects of season 3 i overlooked before, so that's cool!

now we look forward to season 4, which is really exciting to me. it's daunting, but i can't wait to tackle the epic moments that season brings, as well as showing new sides to my OCs. here are some things you can expect or look forward to in the next book:

• probably the darkest book yet, as well as the longest! it will be split into three acts/"volumes"
• the aftermath of book 3's events affecting the characters
• a much larger focus on amy... strap in, y'all 👀
• new locations! mainly california, as well as one or two brief other ones
• more romance, especially staphne, but also some other lovely ships 💞
• plenty of kate bush 😉

i've gone a bit full-on with the updates recently, so i'm going to take a break before posting the season 4 book. don't worry if you don't see it for a while! i'll probably aim for january, because there are also some plot things i need/want to tweak before publishing.
