My heart stopped. I was... I was actually at home! I never knew this old apartment could be more inviting. I sat up on my blue quilt. I felt it, it's softness... Tears fell from my eyes. This was actually home!

Alright Frisk. I said to myself. Get it together! I looked over at my digital clock. 9:45 pm. It began to glow red in the fading day. Out my window, Mt. Ebott was in sight, sad and alone.

Toriel... Sans, Papyrus... Alphys, all of you... I couldn't just LEAVE them, could I? "But they don't remember me..." I said to myself. This is my second chance! I don't need to jump! They're already kinda happy without me...

"Oh, what am I thinking!" I said aloud. Then it hit me. What AM I thinking? I called the one name that has been aching in my head for a long time. "OLLI!!" I yelled. Forget sleeping neighbors, my pug waddled into the room. "Hi, Olli! Oh, I missed you..." I scratched his tan body, his black ears wiggling like madness.

After our meeting session, I ran down the hall. "MOM! MOM!" I cried. My mother's brunette head popped out from her room. "Frisk! My stars, why are you yelling?" I collapsed into her, wrapping my arms around her waist and shoved my face into her shoulder. "Mo-o-o-m..." I said in a weird hiccup-cry thing. Mom hugged me tight. "Hey, it's alright! What happened?" I didn't answer for a little bit. "I think I had a bad dream..." I finally replied. Mom rubbed my head. "Well honey, you ought to get to bed, there is still school tomorrow even if it's a half day." My heart dropped. Not because I hate school, I don't, but tomrrow was a half day. I looked into my mother's eyes. "Okay." I smiled. A real smile, not the one I faked for Toriel.

Tomorrow was the day I jumped. After school, I did. So I took a shower-I've never loved it more-and changed into my striped PJ's. Finally, I collapsed onto my bed. Olli jumped up after me, snuggling under my arm.

I thought of all my friends, everything that could happen, everything that has happened... Asriel, still always stuck as a loveless flower.

I stopped thinking. There was no need to think! I was at home, in bed... I can change everything tomorrow! I closed my eyes and held Olli closer. Everything will change tomorrow...

I woke up early. I, for some reason, was SO excited to go to school. I looked at my clock. 6:28 am. My alarm would ring in 2 minutes. Okay, nevermind, not early. I got up quickly, turned off the alarm, did all the necessary for school, etc...

Finally, I ran out to the bus stop. "Hey, Frisk!" My friend Andrew chirped. "Hey!" I replied. There was just me and Andrew at the bus stop, and... Ugh. Mia. Mia is like, the worst human to exist!

"Hey, Frisk! How are you this fine morning!?" She smiled, then her expression switched from happy to disgusted. "Ugh, please..."

"Mia, shut up!" No wonder I jumped, Mrs. Crap here... I turned away from her. I looked around the stop, and glared at something in the forest. It was something... Someone, it was...

I gasped. "Chara..." I whispered. She was standing back in the shadows, her green and yellow striped shirt dark. "Frisk!" Andrew barged my thoughts. "What are you saying?" I looked at him, then back at Chara.

She was gone. "Nothing..." I said "She's delirious." Mia whispered. The bus arrived and us 3 stepped on. The whole bus was s c r e a m i n g ! Seriously! "HEY FRISK!" Some yelled. Oh yeah! I actually have human friends! "Hi!" I waved. I felt like Alphys at an Anime convention! Excluding Mia, I missed even people I'd like to not see.

I sat down in the back, Andrew next to me. Kids still screaming, I laughed. "Frisk, what's so funny?" Andrew said in disbelief. "I swear I'm half deaf!" Tears stung behind my eyes. I missed them, I had been stuck in the infinite loop of the Underground.

We passed Mt. Ebott, everyone stared at it. The old mountain was a place of history, obviously. "I wanna climb Ebott..." Andrew said longingly. Hah! "No you don't... Trust me!" I said to him.

I looked at the front of the bus at the standing kids. They were all smiling and yelling, but one stood out. Her green and yellow striped turtle neck bright, red eyes stabbing. I stared at her. "Frisk!" Andrew shook my shoulder. "Stop doing that!"

"What?" I asked oblivious. "The constant staring-you're going crazy!" Andrew answered, worried.

Stop. Being. HAPPY! Chara's voice suddenly screamed. Just stop!! "Chara, what do you want?" I yelled to myself, to her. Not your happiness... You aren't allowed to be HAPPY.
