Your pov

You shivered as you tried to seek some warmth by hugging yourself. The cold wind was passing by. You didn't even question on how wind and snow made it in the underground. You saw your footprints on the ground but they quickly fade away because of the harsh snow. You were sure to get a cold, even worse, hyperthermia(?) by this point! You made it to a bridge that had some sort of barricade...? You weren't too sure... You can barely see anything due to the storm. You heard footsteps behind you. You were scared. Who could they be? You decided to run, seeing it as a wise decision, you did. But the bridge decided to give up on you and it fell. You screamed as you fell through the never ending void. Then you.... Stopped...? You looked up and saw a skeleton. He was holding his hand out with a blue aura around it. His left eye glowed the same color as he sweated bullets. You slowly went up to his side. You breathed heavily. That was a scary experience. The skeleton chuckled nervously, sweating bullets. He then calmed down. "Geez kid. It's not really polite to worry a new pal for a first impression." You appreciated that he tried to lighten up the mood. Now that your here, you can look at him clearly. He was wearing a blue jacket with a white turtleneck, black basketball shorts with white lines and.... Pink.... Slippers? His eyesockets had white little lights in instead of the blue flame and the empty one earlier. "Anyways..." Hearing his voice snapped you out of your trance. "The name's sans, sans the skeleton." He held out his hand. You shook hands with him and heard a fart noise. What...? He laughed. "Heh heh... Whoopie cushion in the hand trick. Classic trick in the book." You smiled. "My name's (y/n) by the way." You said. He nodded. You looked at the bridge. "Soooo.... How are we going to get to the other side?" He smiled and held out his hand, again. "Don't worry, I know a shortcut." You raised a brow at this but took his hand. You felt dizzy for a moment before you landed on the ground. Wait... Were you even floating? You were still a bit nauseous and almost fell but sans caught you. "Geez kid, I know that I'm a-PEELING but you just can't stop falling for me." He winked at you. You looked at him for a few minutes before getting the joke and laughed. "Your quite the HUMERUS one aren't ya?" He laughed. "Good one kid." Suddenly, you heard footsteps. "SANS! I HEARD THOSE PUNS! WHO ARE YOU EVEN TALKING TO?!" you looked behind sans and saw another skeleton. Oh cheese balls.... He's gigantic... You were shivering of both the cold and fear. You went behind sans and hid behind him. "Woah, kid. Don't worry. He's not harmf-" "SANS! WHO IS THAT BEHIND YOU? THE GREAT PAPYRUS DEMANDS TO KNOW!" You tried to not get seen but sans pushed you forwards. He gave you a reassuring look. "Kid, come on! Introduce yourself. He's harmless, I swear." You looked up and looked at.... Papyrus was it? straight in the eyes.... Uh.... Eyesockets....? He looked down at you and smiled. That makes him look less intimidating. "WHY HELLO THERE SANS'S FRIEND! WHAT KIND OF MONSTER ARE YOU? OR MAYBE...." he gasped. "ARE YOU A HUMAN?" You looked down at your hands nervously. What were you supposed to say? You looked at sans for an answer. He nodded as if saying that you should tell papyrus that your a human. You looked back at papyrus and saw that his eyesockets somehow had a sparkle in it. Gosh, he might look intimidating at first but he's actually just a innocent skeleton. "U-uhhh.... Yes... Yeah! I'm a human!" You smiled at him. He gasped. "SANS! WE NEED TO PREPARE THE PUZZLES! IMMEDIATELY!" papyrus ran back to where he came from, saying 'nyeh heh heh'. You smiled but then you felt the cold again. You forgot that there was still a storm happening. You breathed in your hands, the tips of the fingers are already turning blue. Suddenly, something warm was placed on your back. You looked behind you and saw sans with only a white turtleneck. You then noticed that he gave you his jacket. "Heh. You looked cold kiddo. Might as well give you my jacket." You looked at him and tried to take the jacket off. "B-but... You'll get cold!" You protested. He shook his head. "Nah. The cold just goes right through me." He winked. You smiled and put the jacket on properly. "Thanks. I'll give it back to you later." He smiled. "You should get going. Don't want to make paps wait. I'll be there." He said and went the other direction. You were about to say something but then he just disappeared. Weird.... You then trudged on forward.

You stood in front of the first puzzle. The storm calmed down a bit but you can tell it's still there. "THERE YOU ARE HUMAN! PREPARE FOR YOUR FIRST PUZZLE! THE INVISIBLE ELECTRICITY MAZE!" you then noticed that sans was beside papyrus. How? He went the other way! Papyrus held an orb. "WHEN YOU TOUCH ANY WALLS OF THE MAZE, YOU WILL GET SHOCKED! NOW, TRY TO GET THROUGH!" you smiled at him and stepped forward. Then papyrus got zapped. You put both your hands on your mouth. Oh no... You didn't mean it. "I-i'm sorry!" Sans decided to speak up. "bro, I think you have to give the human the orb." Papyrus perked up. "WHY YES! OF COURSE!" papyrus went through the maze, leaving footsteps and basically giving out the answer. He tossed the orb on your head and surprisingly, it balanced. He then went back. "OKAY HUMAN! TRY IT NOW!" you followed the footsteps but, did you remember that there was still a faint storm? When you were halfway through the maze, the footprints got covered by the snow. Your eyes widened. Oh.... How were you going to do this now? Sans was sweating while papyrus waited patiently. You stepped forward and you got shocked. You stepped away from the wall.

You tried to get through but you always get shocked. You then stepped to a random direction again, hoping to get it right but you still got shocked.

You got nauseous and passed out. "HUMAN!!!" you heard the skeleton brothers say before you blacked out.

Sans's pov

Oh no... I didn't expect this! I thought that the footprints will stay! The storm just HAD to go today! Me and papyrus ran to the human. We kneeled down next to (y/n), careful to not touch the walls of the maze. Papyrus grabbed them by the shoulders and cried. "SANS! I BROKE THE HUMAN!" he whined. I tried to calm him down. "Hey bro! Calm down! You didn't. They just passed out! Their alright!" Papyrus took the human and put them on his shoulders. "COME ON SANS! WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE HOUSE TO HEAL THEM!" papyrus ran. I tried to keep up but can't. Geez, he's a fast runner. I just teleported to the house and saw papyrus already running towards it. Wow. I know he's fast but I didn't know he was THIS fast! We went inside and papyrus laid them down on the couch. "SANS! HOW DO WE FIX THEM?!" papyrus asked, panicking. "Just use your healing magic papyrus. I know your not that good at it but we can at least try!" He nodded and out his hands in front of the human. Green magic spilled from his hands. Then he stopped. "I CANT HEAL THEM ANYMORE!" I checked the kid's HP.

"That should do just fine. We just have to wait." Papyrus stood up and ran to the kitchen. "IM GOING TO MAKE SPAGHETTI FOR WHEN THE HUMAN WAKES UP!" I sighed and sat down in front of the couch. I was still confused. Isn't it supposed to be frisk? I mean, (y/n) DID land earlier than frisk did and the reset made me go back more farther than expected. Frisk was supposed to fall down a few more weeks later but I guess I can't complain. Nothing wrong with experiencing something new. I was glad that something new even got here. I had been stuck in an infinite loop of resets doing the same things over and over. I just hope that the kid or (y/n) doesn't do genocide. I don't want to see paps die again... I just stared at her, seeing her still passed out. I heard boiling and chopping in the background. I looked away and grabbed the remote of the TV. I turned it on and saw that toaster in a cooking show. The boiling and chopping stopped and I saw papyrus run over and sit on the floor in front of the couch. "IT'S TIME FOR METTATON'S COOKING SHOW!" I rolled my eyes at the overdramatic intro that the tin can made for the cooking show. I stood up and went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. I grabbed a bottle of ketchup and drank it, teleporting back on the floor The show went on for a while. I didn't really pay attention. Then I felt the couch shuffle. Me and papyrus looked at the couch to see that (y/n) was waking up. "THE HUMAN IS WAKING UP!" papyrus said, relieved. I saw the kid open her eyes and looked at us. She groaned. "Where am I?" She stood up, holding her head. Probably got a headache. "Well, your in our house." I responded. She was shocked and jumped. She immediately looked at me. She stared for a few moments, squinting her eyes and then looked away. "Ah right. I remember what happened now. Right, right." She looked at papyrus and me. "Thanks for helping me." Papyrus smiled. "YOUR WELCOME HUMAN! NOTHING THE GREAT PAPYRUS CAN'T DO! OH! ALSO, I HAVE MADE YOU SOME SPAGHETTI! LET ME GO GET IT!" He made a run for the kitchen. I heard shuffling. I looked at (y/n). She seems to be looking around. "Hey kid?" She looked at me, listening. Since she's here, might as well ask stuff. "Do you know a kid named frisk?" She nodded. "Yeah. They were one of the kids that I met in the adoption center!" She said cheerfully. "She's so kind. I wonder how they are doing right now?" She trailed off. I gave her a few moments to think before asking but it got cut off because of papyrus running in and giving (y/n) the spaghetti. "HERE YOU GO HUMAN! I AM SORRY THAT I TOOK LONG! THE MEDDLING CANINE TRIED TO STEAL MY BONES AGAIN!" The kid smiled. I observed her. She might do something she'll regret. Papyrus cleared his throat. "ANYWAYS, HERE! HAVE A TASTE!" She smiled at paps and took a bite. Her cheeks turned a bit green. "SO, DO YOU LIKE IT?" She spoke. "P-papyrus y-you-" I glared at her, my eye threatening to flare. My grin turned into a threatening smile. I don't want anybody hurting pap's feelings. He doesn't deserve it. She saw the glare and sweated bullets. She smiled at paps and gave him a shaky thumbs up. "... Y-you make the best spaghetti ever!" She chuckled. I smiled and turned back into my usual laid back self, my magic disappearing. Papyrus gasped. "YOU LIKE IT?! WOWIE! AHEM... UH.... OF COURSE! THE GREAT PAPYRUS ALWAYS MAKES THE BEST SPAGHETTI EVERYBODY TASTES!" I chuckled. "You sure do paps."

Your pov

You gave the spaghetti back to papyrus. You didn't expect it to taste like that! It looked fine! Delicious even! But it's too burnt and salty. It's literally drowning in spaghetti sauce! But you couldn't say that to papyrus. You had two reasons, one, you don't want to hurt papyrus and two, his brother will kill you. You looked at papyrus. "I-i want to eat some more of this spaghetti but I'm afraid that I'm full. I just ate a lot earlier." Papyrus seemed even happier. "SO, DO YOU MEAN THAT YOU ARE SPARING THE SPAGHETTI SO YOU CAN GIVE IT TO ME?" you nodded. He smiled and picked you up, twirling you around. The spaghetti wasn't on the couch so it didn't spill. "YOU ARE THE BEST HUMAN EVER (Y/N)! BUT, NOBODY CAN BE GREATER THAN ME! SO YOUR THIRD BEST! NEXT TO MY LAZY BROTHER! HE IS ALWAYS SECOND BEST EVEN THOUGH HE DOESNT LOOK LIKE IT!" you mentally 'aww'ed. That's so sweet of him to say to sans! You looked at said skeleton to see his cheeks dusted in blue. Probably his blush. He looked away. "Aww. Thanks paps. Your the best." Papyrus smiled big. "NYEH HEH HEH!!!" Papyrus looked at the clock and he looked surprise. "OH! ITS ALMOST TIME FOR MY TRAINING! I HAVE TO GO NOW! BYE YOU TWO!" papyrus rushed to the door. You waved him goodbye. He stuck his head back in. "ALSO, SANS, PICK UP YOUR SOCK." he then put his head back out then back in. "PLEASE" then he went out again. You burst out laughing. Sans looked at you. You wiped the tears that was in the corner of your eyes. "Man, that was the most I had laughed in a while." You said. It was true though. You were both silent for a bit before he spoke up. "So, wanna go to grillby's with me?" You rose your brow at him. "Grillby's?" He nodded. "Yeah. It's a bar/restaurant. I come there everytime." You smiled. "Sure." He stood up and held his hand out. "Great. Come on, I know a shortcut." You grabbed his hand. You then felt dizzy and plopped down onto a chair. Wait what? When did you-? Your thoughts got cut off by sans. "So, what do you want? Burg or fries?"

"You know what I usually order!" You told sans. He chuckled. "Alright. Hey grillbs! Get us the usual." Grillby nodded and went off to the back. It had been a year since you got here in the underground. You lived with sans and papyrus. You DID go on but when you made it and won the fight between you and asgore, you can't find a way to break the barrier. So you decided to stay underground with them, to which asgore agreed to. You tried giving asgore your soul but he said that he'll just find another way. Who knows? Maybe another human will fall and find a way to set you all free? For now, you are all just going to hope. Grillby came back with your orders and out them in front of you, going to the other tables to take their orders. You and sans both ate and chat. You didn't know why but sans always takes you with him to grillby's. When you asked him, he said that he just enjoys your company but something tells you that that's not the full reason. You didn't force him though. You also noticed that sans always seems to blush and stare at you when your around. When you look at him though, he looks away, not wanting to meet your gaze. That was weird but you just ignored it. After a while, you both finished. You put up three fingers...

The door burst open. The others didn't looked because of how hard they were to this scenario. "SANS! (Y/N)! THERE YOU TWO ARE! I KNEW I WOULD FIND YOU TWO HERE!" Papyrus stomped towards you two. "COME ON SANS! WE HAVE TO GO TO PATROL! (Y/N), DO YOU WANT TO GO WITH US?" you smiled and nodded, still finding it funny when papyrus grabs sans by the hood and holds him like a soccer ball. You put your hand on your mouth, trying to hold your giggles, eventually snorting. Papyrus also picked you up the way he is picking sans up and sprinted to snowdin forest.

Soon enough, you arrived. Papyrus set the two of you down. "ALRIGHT. WE'RE HERE! YOU TWO BETTER NOT BE SLACKING WHEN I GET BACK!" you waved goodbye to papyrus as he ran away. You and sans sat on the stools behind the sentry station. Papyrus placed another one since you sometimes come along with their patrol. You and sans waited for a human to go by. You then started a conversation. It went on for a bit before you asked sans a question. "So, do you have a crush on someone?" Sans's skull immediately turned blue. "U-uhhh..." You smiled at him, curious. Since you may or may not have a small.... Alright.... Let's just admit that you have a major crush on him. "Well... Yeah... I do have one..." Sans smiled and looked at the distance, his blush easing a bit. "She's beautiful, kind, she's just.... The light of my life if you ask me." Your heart cracked a bit at that but then you do have a chance of being that girl. But who were you kidding? Nobody could love you. You were just an everyday person that can be easily replaced with someone. (No offence alright?). You decided to be like that kind of friend and tease him. "Who's the lucky girl?" His blush deepened. He seems to take deep breaths, calming himself down, then speaking. "That lucky girl...." He turned his whole body to you, his blush spreading. "Is right in front of me." You tried to register what he said then your face and ears went red. "R-really?" He nodded, his blush cooling down. "Look, you might not like me and I'm sor-" you cut him off by hugging him. "I like you too!" You said, glad that he likes you back. He smiled, tears on his eyes. You felt his tears on your back. You let go of the hug, looking at him. He was crying. You were confused. "Sans, why are you crying?" He shook his head. "For a moment, I thought that you didn't like me back..." He wiped his tears away. "Sorry." You both stayed silent for a moment. Then you thought about... Ah geez... Can you? You looked at sans, blushing. "C-can we...?" You leaned closer, trying to make the question obvious. He blushed then nodded. You were both unsure about it though. Sans puts his hand on your cheek, pulling you closer with his other hand on your waist. You put you hands on his shoulder. You didn't really know where to put it. You both went closer, your faces centimeters apart. You can feel his breath ghost over your mouth. Your eyes went half lidded, cheeks burning as hot as fire. Sans closed the gap. You felt your entire face on fire but you both stayed on that position. Sans pinned you on the side of the sentry station. You held onto him. The moment was a bit short yet to you, it felt like an eternity. You both seperated, needing to get some air. You breathed heavily, still flustered. You looked at sans. He was the same state as you, out of breath, flustered... You were lying if you said that you didn't think he looked hot right now. Sans chuckled breathlessly. "Wow.... That.... I'd be lying if I said I didn't like that." He looked to the side. You just stood there. You didn't know what to say. That was just.... It- "SANS! (Y/N)! THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS BACK!" Both you and sans scrambled to get back to your position earlier. You both sat there and saw papyrus run to you. You breathed in and out to try and get the blush out of your face. Papyrus was in front of you, his hands on his waist. "WOWIE! I AM SURPRISED TO SEE THE TWO OF YOU AWAKE! I- WHY ARE YOU TWO BLUSHING?" This was so awkward. You heard sans let out a nervous chuckle. "It was nothin' paps." Papyrus looked suspicious but he let it slide. "ALRIGHT! LETS GO! ITS ALMOST NIGHTTIME! WE HAVE TO GO! YOU TWO DIDN'T SEE ANY HUMANS RIGHT?" You shook your head. Papyrus sighed but he smiled. "I AM SURE THAT WE'LL SEE ONE NEXT TIME! NOW LET'S GO!" He picked you and sans up and started running. You sighed. That sure was embarrassing. You looked at sans and he smiled at you. You smiled back. You just hope that you can both reach a happy end.

I ish finally done! That took me an extremely long time. I'm starting to run out of inspiration to write but I will stay DETERMINED for you, potato chips! Since school will start at Monday.... Which I do not like because I am still on my *cough* monthlyandithurtslikeheck *cough* but that means slower updates. I know... Me running out of inspiration and ideas and school, which I want to be successful in this time, a total nightmare. For me anyways. But anyways, I have to go! Bye p chips! :3
