*Flashback*
I had just left the ruins. Goat mom told me to never come back. . . I didn't have a home anymore, and the world behind that purple door was cold. Literally.
I was walking absentmindedly through the snow. There was a well-worn path that I was following. A stick sat in the middle of the path. It was too heavy to pick up, and it wouldn't break, even when I jumped as hard as I could, so I left it behind and kept going.
The world around me was a blinding white. Snow covered the bare trees. It seemed that winter here would never end. *CRACK*
I whirled around. Everything looked the same, except now the stick was broken! I peered through the trees, trying to see who else was here, but I couldn't see anyone. Wary and suspicious, I slowly started walking again.
After a few minutes of walking, I came across a bridge with a comically large wall in front of it. There was nowhere else to go. I heard footsteps crunching through the snow behind me. . .
"Human," the person said, "don't you know how to greet a new friend?" I didn't. "Turn around and shake my hand."
I followed his instructions and heard a loud fart sound. The person started laughing. "The old whoopee cushion in the hand trick! It's always funny!"
I could see now that the person was a rather short skeleton with a permanent smile plastered on his face. He was wearing a blue hoodie over a white shirt, black basketball shorts, and pink slippers. He introduced himself as Sans the Skeleton.
He led me through Snowdin Town and introduced me to his brother Papyrus. Since then, we've been the best of friends.
