...And that's a wrap. After two months and countless sleepless days and nights, Underneath is completed. It stands at a word count of 25,194 words. Five thousand words shorter than what I anticipated but that doesn't bother me at all. This journey was worth all the pain.

I bet you have so many questions after reading that ending. Questions that you probably had since the beginning. Some of it kind of gets answered, while the others don't. It's for you, my dear reader, to think about what really happened. I would love to know your theories.

Ríone's tale was supposed to be tragic. In a way, this was how it turned out. That is something that happens in real life too, does it not? After all, it has been inspired by many events that I and others who I know personally have faced (none of the horrific bits though, thank goodness.)

Sometimes we just go down that downward spiral. But not all hope is lost. Just as Ríone believed in her last moments. Someday someone will finish what had been started. I promise that it will.
