Today is bit different.

First I found out that The High Lord was gone for two days. Something about the new constructions in the city.

Next as he is away , I got new chore list and I was assigned to the kitchen.

So I went there.

First I had my breakfast and then started to help the chef.

As I was helping ,I felt eyes on me and it was prickling the back of my neck. I looked around and saw nobody.

Must be my imagination..

I shrugged it off and continued to help the chef.

After helping him I was assigned to clean The Lord's master bedroom.

After all the work was done it was nearly evening.

But when considered to my other days it was far more better.

And today I was able to finish my work before seven.

I was on my way to my room when I heard some whispers.

I tentatively went near the sounds and started to eavesdrop.

"Marry did you hear that Lord is away for two days..?"

"Oh yes Jenna. It is the perfect time to have some fun. Don't you think..?"

"No Marry.

NO!

Can't you remember what happened last time when we went near that damn secret room.."

"What room...?"

"You little bitch!

The one that is hidden behind the golden statue.

Can't you remember..

It's near the library you dimwit."

"Ohh..that one..yeah..

Why not.

The bastard had set some kind of a lock that only grant access to himself and his mate.

Gosh I am glad that he haven't found his mate still. Otherwise that damn lock might alert the whole security system..."

"Yeah.. That's right.

It only gives us a glimpse of the inside.

So unfair..!"

"But you bitch..you tried to break it down..!!! 

No way I am going near that damn room again."

"Ok ok I know it's foolish of me.. But I was compelled with its luxury.

Let's try another thing today. Ok?"

"Ok Marry. But no funny buisness today!

Got it?"

"Yes ma'am.."

Huh! God..

Even these old brats have some life..

And look at me..

Doing nothing and spending my life as an idiot of a slave.

Don't you dare Rhea..

Oh hell what's wrong with just checking out this so called room..

Besides I can really use some adventure right now.

I stupidly had a goofy smile on my face while thought about the unknown luxury.

Time for some exploration..

*smirk*

Where is this damn library..

I should have asked from one of the maids. I walked around aimlessly and bumped into someone.

"Hey you!

Can't you see where you are going?"

Just my luck..!

Madame Russel. She is the one who is in charge of maids.

I gulped and replied in a soft boyish voice.

"Sorry ma'am. I am on my way to the library.

I was hoping to arrange some books and clean it.

But I can't find the way.."

"Ohh.. That's ok. Wait.

I will help you.

Just go to the hallway where The High Lord's master bedroom is. And then continue till you find a corridor on your right side. At the end of the corridor you will find the library.."

"Thank you so much ma'am.."

And with that she went on her way and I went in search for the library.

It didn't took me long to find it. And infront of the library was a golden statue.

I double checked the hallways and saw nobody.

So I went near the statue and checked everywhere.

And behind the statue was a digital touch pad.

Huh.. Interesting..

I thought. And touched it.

"Good evening master.

Please place your hand in front of the screen to unlock."

Freaky..

A robotic voice..?

What is this technology..

Whatever. I am already in this mess. Let's try it anyway.

I tentatively placed my hand in front of the screen.



"Congratulations Mistress! Your DNA has been identified.

You are now welcome to the master's Royal Velvet Room."

The robotic voice responded and I was stunned.

Is this for real?

I was too stunned to notice the open door and I slowly went inside it.

And boy...

I was overwhelmed with the scenery.

A huge Jacuzzi was in the middle of the gigantic room.

And around it was electric and natural scented candles.

A red wine bottle along with two glasses were on a tray. And a covered plate was there also.

In a corner a narrow path led to a sauna. And in another corner a huge queen bed was set up with bed post and everything.

Dark velvety royal purple colour dominated the whole room while clashing with black colour.

The wooden theam was rich and it added a great statement to the whole area.



In the other corner two doors were closed. I guess for a bathroom and closet. And there were beautiful forest garden paths along with some natural flowers and plants in another corner.

It was arranged so well that it almost looked like a little tropical garden.

And I was mostly amazed by it. Because nowadays it is hard to find natural beauty.

No doubt why this was secured so much..

Because hell if I had the chance to come here whenever I wanted, I wouldn't think twise.

I would probably live here.

I had this goofy smile on my face and I was totally ready to explore this more.

But...

Suddenly something nagged my mind..

Wait...

That bastard robotic lock said something about a Mistress..

And to top it all those two old hags told something about a mate...

Wait....ohhhh.....nooooo......

WTF???

What does that mean?????

Am I The High Lord's mate?!?

I was terrified.

Ok...calm down..calm down...

No way it's possible.

Might be a huge mistake.

Yeah probably..

I relaxed a bit and was distracted by the beauty that surrounded me.

Might as well enjoy the Jacuzzi while I have the chance..

And with that thought I forgot everything and started to get ready for it..

I checked the door for reassurance and then removed my clothes. Then I got in the Jacuzzi. It was soothing. And the water massaged my sore muscles and gave a peace to my mind. I reached around and took the wine bottle. I opened it poured some into a glass. Then I uncovered the plate and found various assortment of cheese and dark chocolate with some fruits.

Hmmm...yummy..

I ate and drank for a while. Enjoying the luxury. It was a total blissful moment.

But..

Suddenly...

I heard some noise..

A clicking sound exactly...

WTF..??

I quickly turned around forgetting the wine and everything..

And my eyes grew big with fright and goosebumps appeared on my skin...

"My..my...my look what we have found here..!"
