Spring
It was finally spring time and you were outside more. You would take Caramel and Storm out for walks, check out the wheat in the field and look for caterpillars in your yard.
It was also the time of year that the animals would have their babies and you watched the birds build their nests and the deer bring their fawns out near the barn to drink from the water trough in the morning. Right now you were telling Ulaz about spring and showing him pictures you had taken on your phone.
"What is that creature with the small white spots?" Ulaz asked you.
"That's a baby deer, they're called fawns." You replied.
"So the adult male deer are the ones with the antlers?" He asked you.
"Yes." You said.
"During my first night in your demention I killed a male deer to eat." Ulaz said.
"Oh, it's a good thing that I found you so you wouldn't have to worry about catching food." You said.
"I agree, I usually prefer eating cooked food more than raw." Ulaz said.
"That's good to know." You said as you pushed your glasses up on your nose since they kept slipping off.
"What is this creature?" Ulaz asked as you showed him another picture.
"That's a bumblebee, they help pollinate the plants so the plants will produce food and flowers." You said.
"Exactly how big is your farm?" Ulaz asked you.
"It's ninteeen hundred acres." You said.
"That is quite a bit of land." Ulaz said.
"Yes, but it's wonderful to have no close neighbors." You said.
Since both you and Ulaz had bedrooms on the second floor of your house you both could see inside the tree next to his window. Just then a robin landed on a branch near the window and you both saw it was building a nest so you both watched for a while.
"What is that creature and what is it doing?" Ulaz asked you.
"It's a robin and it's building a nest." You said.
"It's quite lovely." Ulaz said.
"I know, they're beautiful with their red feathers." You said.
After a while longer you had to go eat lunch so you left Ulaz to go eat lunch and bring back something for him to eat.
