Kaylie found herself right back where she was in the nightmare. Dream danny still on top of her.
"You're back," Dream Danny said with a toothy grin, "so do you still believe I can't affect the real world?"
"Whoever you are... The real danny will kill you!" Kaylie yelled as she tried to wiggle out from under Dream Danny.
"Oh please, why would he ever do anything like that for a piece of shit like you? You're subpar at best. Danny probably only has you around for a fat flesh pillow." Dream Danny snickered.
"No... no! That isn't true you disgusting shit!" Kaylie yelled as she tried to free herself.
"Aww doll... i will gut you and danny will have to watch as he tries to stop it." Dream Danny laughed as he traced his knife against Kaylies spine. he raised his knife and plundged it into kaylies back. Kaylie screamed as she was pulled out of her nightmare and into the real world. Seconds later, she died. Kaylie was transported to the survivor campfire, she wasn't okay. Laurie ran over and started to comfort Kaylie. Kaylie couldnt speak, she was just so panicked and scared from what just happened. A few minutes later, a few screams were heard from the borders of the camp. A figure was approaching fast... it was Danny. Kaylie stood up and ran over to danny, he was now fighting off adam, nea, and yui, they all had flash lights and were blinding him.
"Guys! Stop!" Kaylie called out to the three survivors. The three hesitantly put their flashlights down and backed away from Danny, all of them on edge and ready to blind him if he did anything. Kaylie ran over and hugged Danny and started to apologize profusely.
"No no no... you did nothing wrong... im sorry..." danny said quietly as he returned the hug. More survivors arrived to see Kaylie hugging Danny like a baby koala to its mother.
"Um... sorry for the scare." Danny apologized to the survivors.
"Hey kaylie? We need to talk... after you get Ghostface out of our camp." Laurie said as she slowly approached Kaylie and Danny. Kaylie nodded.
"I uh... im sorry but you need to go wait outside the borders of the camp..." Kaylie told Danny quietly as she stopped hugging him. Danny nodded.
"I just needed to make sure you were alright... i need to go meet up with someone anyways." danny said before he moved his mask to the side and gave kaylie a kiss on the forehead. Danny left the camp without a word. Kaylie went over to Laurie.
"Whats up?" Kaylie asked.
"I think you owe us an explanation on what the hell is going on with you and Ghostface." Laurie said.
"I thought you would've already pieced two and two together..." kaylie said quietly.
"Well its better to get the facts." Laurie said as she set a hand on Kaylies shoulder, "and I dont want to assume some things."
"Well um... ghostface and I are together. He hasn't hurt me outside of trials if you were wondering. And he didn't kill me... something else did." Kaylie explained. Laurie stared at Kaylie for a few seconds.
"You, probably one of the kindest people here, are dating, Ghostface, a ruthless killer who stalks people? I don't believe it." Laurie said as she crossed her arms.
"You dont have to believe it but its the truth." Kaylie said as she put her hands in her sweatshirt pockets.
"... you better stay careful with him. Don't let him do anything you want want him to do. Tell me if he hurts you at all." Laurie instructed.
"I... i thought you would be against me dating him." Kaylie said.
"I am... but if he makes you happy and he doesn't hurt you at all... ill allow it." Laurie said.
"Alright, thank you. I need to go check if Ghostface is okay. See you later." Kaylie said.
Kaylie ran back to Dannys place and opened the door to find alot more medkits lying around. Kaylie sat down onto the bed and waited for Danny to come back. After what felt like an eternity, the door opened. Danny entered the room covered in blood, he was limping a bit and he seemed to be in a sour mood.
"Danny?" Kaylie asked as she stood up, "are you okay?" Danny sighed, took his mask off, and threw it to the ground.
"Ugh... yeah... i think I got your dream problem sorted... shit my leg hurts..." danny said quietly before he collapsed into his bed. Kaylie took one of the many medkits, went over to Danny, sat down on the bed, and opened the kit.
"Thank you, Danny. Let me dress your wounds for you." Kaylie said with a soft smile. Danny sat up and let Kaylie disinfect and cover all the slashes, cuts, and scratches that littered his body. After about 15 minutes, all of Dannys wounds were dressed. Danny thanked Kaylie and gave her a hug.
"What would I ever do without you?" Danny asked with a smile.
"Do what you did before I showed up?" Kaylie said as she gently returned the hug.
"Stalk people who don't even compare to you? No I think I'd rather be with you." Danny said.
"Hey Danny? How did you deal with my nightmare problem?" Kaylie asked.
"One of my fellow killers is able to enter dreams, turn them to nightmares, and can effect the real world through those nightmares... I taught him a lesson." Danny said with a smile.
"Yeah but next time you better stay safe, it looks like he did a number on you." Kaylie said as she gently rubbed the back of Dannys neck. Danny nodded and set his head on Kaylies shoulder.
"I swear ill be safer next time, also tell me if you have another nightmare, okay?" Danny said.
"Alright, I will." Kaylie said with a smile.
"... i didn't realize how terrified the survivors are of even one killer getting in their camp." Danny muttered as he sunk into Kaylies arms.
"Really? I thought you would've known that the survivors were really jumpy around killers." Kaylie said as she rubbed dannys back.
"I guess I wasn't thinking about that... i mean... i see Jake at the Killer campfire with Michael every now and again." Danny said.
"Really? With Michael? Thats... thats surprising." Kaylie said
"Yeah, I guess he wouldn't say anything about him cuddling with Michael." Danny said.
"Yeah... definitely with Laurie around," Kaylie said chuckling, "she's practically the mom of the group."
"No wonder she wanted to talk to you, she's the over protective mom type. Speaking of which, what did she want to talk to you about?"
"She just wanted to know what was going on so I told her how we are together. She said that she didnt like it but if you didn't hurt me and I actually loved she would tolerate it." Kaylie said.
"... i can't bite you out of affection? Aww..." Danny whined.
"Don't be horny while we are being fluffy." Kaylie cooed.
"Aww...! But that's the fun part!" Danny whined dramatically as he fell onto his back, "laurie has corrupted you!" Both Kaylie and Danny laughed.
"Oh really? Well then, no cuddles for you EVER." Kaylie joked as she scooted away from danny. Danny gasped loudly.
"Nooo!" Danny laughed as he sat up and hugged Kaylie, "i will never allow this!"
"Danny! Noooo!" Kaylie chuckled as she pulled Danny closer to her. Danny smiled and kissed Kaylie softly.
"Danny yes!" Danny said with a large smile. After a long while of joking arguments and alot of kisses and cuddles, Danny and Kaylie were wrapped in a cuddly blanket burrito. They laid there in silence just enjoying each others presents when Danny yawned very loudly.
"Are you getting sleepy?" Kaylie asked before she started yawning.
"Yeah, good thing I have the best person ever to cuddle with." Danny said before he kissed Kaylies forehead and curled a bit. Kaylie giggled, returned Dannys kiss and closed her eyes.
