VII
It had been nearly a month and I had been to several different shops and trying to figure out how the hell to get Tywin Lannister back to his own realm. I was frustrated and exhausted to the point where I was no longer sleeping at night and rather reading and surfing the Web trying to figure out anything I could.
But of course I kept failing.
"You look exhausted. When was the last time you had a proper nights sleep?"
Tywin questioned me one morning during breakfast. I sat down at the small table across from him. I knew he knew that I hadn't been sleeping but maybe for a few hours a night. He had woken up to me reading things online more than once as I had refused to go to bed.
"I dunno what's today?"
Tywin frowned deeply as he lowered his fork.
"You've lost track of your days?"
I was silent for a moment as if sighed and rubbed my swollen and painful eyes. It was then I heard his silverware hit his plate and the chair scooted out from him. I glanced up and seen him standing straight up looking down at me.
"You need to rest."
"I'm fine."
"If you don't even know what day it is you're in no condition to attempt your research. You will rest. Now stand up."
He ordered using that fatherly tone with me. I sighed and did as I was told.
"Who am I to argue with the great Tywin Lannister."
I said giving a small bow. He frowned even more.
"You're brave when you're tired. Now move."
He said his lips nearly turning up as he spoke. Shaking his head he touched my arm when I went unmoving and started to escort me back to my room.
I felt my heart thudding hard in my chest feeling his hand against the naked skin of my arm as I was wearing short sleeves. I allowed him to walk me to my room and to my bed.
He only released my arm when he placed me on the bed and had me lay down. I couldn't believe that Tywin Lannister was actually putting me to bed. The most feared and powerful man in all Westroes was putting me to bed.
If only someone could see this now, Tywin would be mocked most certainly for it.
"Now rest."
"And what will you do all day? Not like you can exactly do the research on your own."
"Don't worry about that I'll abide my time with something."
He said pulling away from the bed. He paused at my doorway and turned around to look at me right as I pulled the covers up to my chin.
"Who knows, perhaps I'll learn something new about you since it seems you know far more about myself than I you."
I snorted and rolled over onto my side.
Yeah, good luck with that.
