THEODORE'S POV

I rushed home immediately when I had entered Hayley's house, the last thing I expected was to find members of my father's rival gang in her living room.

I recognised one of them as Killian he was always on the front lines because he enjoyed fighting the most and headed their attack unit.

I knew this much but I wasn't sure until he stood in front of me and I noticed the tattoo on his wrist which confirmed it.

Vandel didn't have any tattoos, so how did he befriend one of the most dangerous mafia groups?

That would explain how he was able to counter Eddie's attack.

But then how?!.

Hold on, he was Xadrian's brother he probably knew his brother was in the mafia and that was also his brother's wife.

But he never joined them?.

I slammed the steering wheel making it hunk loudly as my car raced down the streets.

Do I tell my dad?

No that would make him dispose of Vandel immediately.

But they were my father's enemies, My father was in love with Hayley's Aunty, Xadrian's girlfriend Luna but after she transferred to a new school, she cut off all contact with him.

When he finally found her, she was with Xadrian and already had their tattoo on her wrist but because he was in love with her, he gave her another chance which she refused claiming she loved Xadrian which made my father lose it.

Probably why he was so heartless

On the day of their final battle, my father being the coward that he was once again sent someone to do his dirty work, this time it was his double and they had killed his double thinking it was him.

But they were still outnumbered and I heard that day that another member of the gang Wilson stayed behind to fend off while the rest escaped.

A very honourable thing to do and if they hadn't done it, they would all be dead by now and though they were the enemy I respected them.

Now do I tell my dad about what I found out, or ignore it and let everything play out itself?

They had sacrificed their lives to save their friends, if I informed my dad their sacrifice would be for nothing.

I arrived at the warehouse soon and was met by Eddie.

"Is it done?" I asked and be smiled.

"Come see for yourself" he replied and he took me into a room where I found Devonte's dead body on the floor and some people began clearing it up.

"Good work, inform the old man yourself and get a reward" I slapped his shoulder and he smiled.

"That's why you're my man Theo" he cheered and I gave a small smile.

"What about the girl?" I asked.

"She's still in the interrogation room" he replied.

I headed towards the interrogation room to find Lily slumped against the wall and she looked up when she heard the noise from the door.

"He came just like you expected, and they killed him just like you planned" she murmured.

"They made me watch" she said new formed tears leaving her eyes.

"And they would have killed you also" I said and she chuckled before flying at me and screaming catching me off guard and allowing her to scratch my neck.

I pulled her twisting her hands behind her back causing her to scream and struggle wanting to get away and her elbow crashed against my nose causing me to stumble back.

"Fuck!" I groaned and pulled her into a tighter grip not bothering to be careful this time and slammed her head into the wall.

"The only reason you're breathing right now is because I believe you are innocent don't push your luck" I warned and pushed her head further into the wall making her cry.

"You will go on living your life normally as if this never happened and if you try anything stupid, I'll find you and kill you" I warned before releasing her and leaving the room.

I grabbed my nose and winced.

"Seems you back to work?" Chris said walking towards Mr and I gave a small smile.

"Any new changes?" I asked.

"Not really but it seems your brother had been meeting someone in secret, the boss asked us to investigate.

Alex won't sell is out right?

That would be stupid

I don't think he hated us that much

I only hoped he wasn't selling us out or father would kill him without hesitation not caring that he wad his son.

"Once you find out anything let me be the first person you inform" I said.

"Of course" Chris said with a smile before walking away.

The issue with Hayley was getting more complicated.

What lingered in my mind was if all of Vandel's friends and brother belonged to the mafia, why didn't belong too?.

It didn't add up.

Or was he involved?.
