HAYLEY'S POV

"What the hell was that?" I asked Joan as we arrived at school.

"You were all over my dad" I said.

"I've told you I like him and talking to him now just makes me like him more" she shrugged.

"He has a girlfriend he really likes" I warned hoping she won't do anything rash.

She was wild like that.

"I'm not going to do anything, I'm just going to try my luck and if I get to get a piece I'll be the happiest girl alive" She smiled and I groaned.

"You're not getting any 'piece' now let's go" I pulled her we were already late.

We quickly found our seats and I looked back Theo's friends were present but he was nowhere to be seen.

He seemed to be in a haste earlier this morning I only hoped everything was fine.

"Anything from Larry?" I asked.

"Nothing yet the boss asked you to come to his office" one of my men informed.

"Okay" I said heading towards my dad's office.

I knocked twice before pulling the door open.

"Cassie you can leave" he said and a girl stood up from under his desk wiping her mouth.

As she walked past me I frowned in disgust.

Mum didn't know that Dad was cheating.

Not that he was cheating he just fucked other women without regard.

"You wanted to see me?" I asked.

"Devonte sent a threatening note saying he would destroy our family and roast me alive" my dad said tossing the so-called letter towards me and I watched as it landed on the floor not bothering to pick it which made him smile.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked.

"I heard his daughter goes to your college, bring her to me" he said tapping his pen.

"Okay Father" I replied about to leave.

"About the Anderson girl?" He started and I froze.

"Is she Xadrian Anderson's offspring?" He asked.

"No her dad's name is Vandel Anderson, Xadrian's brother and there doesn't seem to be anything related to the mafia about him, he also doesn't have their tattoo" I relayed and he nodded.

"A brother of Xadrian is also an enemy of me" he said clicking his pen.

"I want him dead by noon" he said.

"What?!" I asked and he stopped clicking his pen and looked up at me.

"Did I stutter?" He asked.

"Father this is unnecessary he has done....

"Theodore" he called standing up and I swallowed hard.

Shit why was I afraid of him.

"As you wish Father" I said leaving the room.

I slammed my fist into the opposite wall.

I didn't want to kill Vandel he had done nothing wrong.

Hayley would be devasted if he died he was all she had.

I pulled out my phone dialling Edward.

"Yo Theo!" He said into the phone.

"The old man gave us a mission to kill, I want a clean job and nothing painful a bullet to the head is fine" I said.

"Don't think you can boss me around 'cause you're the old man's son, this person important to you?" He asked.

"No, but he's innocent" I replied.

"Alright man I'll respect your wishes quick and easy death" he said.

"Thanks, Eddie" I sighed.

"Anytime my man" he replied and I hung up.

I headed back to the warehouse not wanting to think about what I just did.

It didn't matter if he lived or not

It shouldn't.

"Theo?" I heard a voice and turned to see Viktor.

"kak dela?" I asked as he pulled me into a hug. (How are you?)

"u nas yest' rabota, ty idesh'?" He asked. ( we have a job, you coming along?)

"u menya yest' koye-chto yeshche, chtoby sdelat" I replied (I have something else I must do)

"Khorosho" he said before walking away (alright)

I was going to avoid school today but due to the operation my dad had given me I couldn't.

I drove all the way to school calling my friends on the way.

I had informed them of what my dad had ordered and one of them was currently tailing her.

The others were on their way to the spot they decided to lure her to.

Immediately I reached school I headed towards the spot they said they would be at and noticed two of them stationed at the spot.

As I was about to move further, I noticed a man who was hiding about to pull the trigger and I rushed to him kicking the gun out of his hands.

I pounced on him throwing him a punch to the face twice and he already began to cough out blood.

I looked up and my friends picked up on what was going on giving me the signal that the girl had arrived.

I waved for them to continue with the plan while I punched the man one more for him to fall unconscious.

There was a small scream before it was no longer heard.

I placed cuffs on the man's hand pulling him by it till where the guys were tying Devonte's daughter.

"What's your name sweetheart?" Chris asked and she trembled and tried to shuffle away.

"Make a sound and we'll knock you out" Randy warned and she nodded rapidly.

"Are you sure we have to hand her a hundred per cent, I'm sure the old man wouldn't mind" Greg said and I frowned at him.

"Nobody touches her, she's innocent we only have issues with her father" I warned which made Greg grumble.

"Alright" Greg said.

"Bring them to the car" I ordered and they carried on the order.

Devonte's daughter looked at me with pleading eyes crying her sounds muffled by the cloth tied around her mouth.

I looked away

If I stared at her more I would only feel worse about myself.
