Heeseung watched her rush around the diner, not stopping once. She was tired, he could tell. And yet, it never really showed. None of the humans in the room even noticed. Because she always had a bright smile on her face, she was always sweet and energetic.

He watched as she came over with his order, thinking hard.

"I hope you enjoy," she told him kindly, setting the plates on his table. "Would you like to order anything else?"

He scanned the plates in front of him and looked up at her, grabbing onto her wrist and pulling her towards him.

"Can you sit and eat with me?" he asked softly.

Hana blinked at him. "I... I have to work," she told him, looking around. "I'm sorry-"

"You're tired," he stated. "Sit down. If anyone says anything, I'll say that I threatened make a fuss if you didn't listen. Sit down and eat with me... I can't eat this all on my own."

He watched as a small smile came to her face, and he could see in her eyes the moment that she gave in. There was only one fork, and he pushed it towards her.

"No, you take it," she insisted, pushing it back to him.

"I'll eat later," he told her. He didn't need to eat, he just did because he liked too. It made him feel more human. Plus, food tasted great.

She laughed. "If you don't need to, then why come to a restaurant?"

"Because I thought I'd meet someone important," he said, looking at her. She didn't notice, she was too busy eating.

"And did you?" she asked.

"Yes. You," he said simply, causing her to look up at him with wide eyes.

"Me? How?"

"Hana, I want to tell you something," he said, leaning forward and holding her gaze. "Live life to the fullest. Everyday, live it without regrets. Okay? It's something I learned a while ago and... seeing you work so hard, it's something you should learn too."

She looked at him curiously. "How did you know my name?"

"You're wearing a name tag. And that's not what's important in what I said. Were you even listening?" he said, sighing and taking a drink of his water.

"I was," she insisted. "You said to live life to the fullest. And I will. Will you go out with me?"

Heeseung coughed, choking on his drink. "What?"

This hadn't been part of his plan. Not at all.

Her eyes took on a hint of mischief as she leaned forward on the table, not breaking his eye contact. "You said to live life to the fullest. I met a handsome young man today, and I want to go on a date with him. Is that wrong?"

Not for you, but for me. For me, it's so so wrong. I could get in so much trouble.

But looking into her smiling, hopeful eyes, he couldn't say no.

She'd die in a week. Maybe he could give her some extra happiness.

Besides, no human had even spoken to him this long. His interactions were always much too short. Maybe... maybe he could have some fun too. Maybe she'd help this month go by faster.

"Yes," he said confidently. "Let's go on a date."
