Brooklyn turned off her lights and rolled over in her bed. She couldn't wait to go to sleep. Today had been a really long day at work.

That's when she heard a notification go off on her phone. Her heart leapt in excitement.

What if it's him?

That always seemed to be the question whenever her phone had any notification.

Is that Ethan?

How come she could never get him off her mind? He constantly consumed her thoughts all day long.
Brooklyn reached over and grabbed her phone off her bedside table.

Sure enough, Ethan had direct messaged her. The chats Ethan and Brooklyn shared were the favourite part of Brooklyn's day.
