Chapter 39- My Angel

Third person POV
"Is this... the end?" A solemn and quiet voice whispered as the the maiden fell, closing her eyes.

Tears. Tears... Tears were falling upwards from Akuma only. Both Kiroyuki's and Akuma's fate will end. For their time will end in a few seconds without the will to live on.

This is the absolute end of the story...

"NO! I WON'T LET YOU DIE!" The knight, the savior, the determined went into the front lines, throwing himself to danger.

Throwing away his ignorance of the bloodshed from his own hands, he cut down two of the robed men with all his little strength. He sprinted towards the edge of the tower where Rapunzel had fallen, but was blocked desperately.

"I WON'T LET YOU PASS! THAT DEMON WILL DIE FOR THE SINS SHE- GAH!"

Ryu, not having time to listen to Neil's useless rants, he punched his right cheek, making him fall to his bottom, stunned.

"A... ah! HOW DARE-" In attempt to stop Ryu once more, he was held against his will by two of the robed men.

"E-eh!? BETRAYED BY THE LOTS OF YOU BABOONS!?" Neil exclaimed, beyond furious.

"RYU!" The gang yelled, seeing the boy slowly disappeared from the sight of the edge. Although they already knew he would go down to save her, they didn't think their obstacles would lend a helping hand.

"Μην σπαταλάτε καθόλου αυτόν τον αμαρτωλό υπηρέτη. Γιατί σας παραγγείλω να συνδέσετε το αγόρι από το να κάνετε οποιαδήποτε κίνηση." A graceful and tangible voice of a woman spoke out, surprising those who stood.
(Do not unhand that sinful servant at all. For I order you to tie that boy up from making any movement.)

As if on cue, the two robed men who handicapped Neil pulled out chains, typing up his wrists and ankles together. The other robes men who were still alive, bowed down seeing Hanayuki.

"W-what is this?!" Zen questioned, clearly confused yet frantic about Ryu and Akuma.

"H-hanayuki!" Obi gasped, automatically wanting to hug her tight, but knew this was not the time.

"Where's my hello~?" Rosso pouted at Obi, but was ignored.

"Τα χέρια του χρόνου έχουν το έλεος για τα ταλαντούχα και αργή την πτώση των σπασμένων ζευγαριών. Δώστε μου τις δυνάμεις σας για να υπηρετήσετε ξανά την ερωμένη σας." Hanayuki, holding a serious glint in her eyes, flashed some unknown chants.
(May the hands of time have mercy for thy gifted and slow the fall of the broken pair. Lend me your powers to serve your mistress once more.)

Behind walked forth two other mysterious males alongside with Kuroiryuu whom the gang identified as the other sacred warriors they had yet to meet. How grand their entrance would be if this time wasn't so limited and rushed.

Up coming behind Hanayuki after her chant, four thin beams of blinding light flew over her shoulder and head, towards the edge of the high tower they stood on.

"Woah.." Mitsuhide breathed out, awed at the magic being performed before him.

"Μειώστε την ώρα των χεριών!" She exclaimed, summoning a thin yet elegant sword, designed  with the riches of a fantasy world. Immediately, she pierced a hole into the sky above her, revealing light.
(Slow down the time of hands!)

"W-what... What is this? This is all wrong... No no no! NO! WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO GO WRONG FOR ME!? GRRRAAAGGGHHHH! LET GO OF ME!" Neil screamed, sobbing and sobbing.

"... You should have never set a contract as a servant to a demon. Especially since you're only a mere human. You are still too naive, Neil." Hanayuki walked closer to the sobbing boy, kneeling down with eyes that held neutrality.

"You once held a kind and pure heart, but your misused and abused love for Akuma was too much. You yourself abandoned your morals to be a thoughtless puppet for the devil." She continued.

"B-but..." Neil stuttered, unable to find words.

"Over time, your love for Akuma vanished. You slowly and surely grew more fond of Kiroyuki. Am I correct?" Hanayuki asked, seeing the brokenness in Neil's honey brown eyes.

"Uw-uw-uwaaahhh! I truly loved her! I did! She's just-just so glorious and beautiful! I love her! I loved her! I loved them! D-don't leave me alone! Uaaaahh! I did everything for them! I made a promise to both of them! Both of them! I... I want to die..."

"..." The gang had no words. The twisted boy they saw who helped create chaos was just a broken, scared, and lonely child.

"... Gorm."

"Yes, Mistress Hanayuki?" He asked, bowing in respect.

"Make sure he stays unconscious to relieve his pain." Hanayuki said in a monotone voice.

"As you wish." Gorm walked over to the weeping child who remained a broken record. He cautiously placed his hand over Niel's forehead. The weeping sorrow slowly died down, falling into sleep with silent tears.

"What about Ryu-" Kiki was about to question, but was cut off by the green haired male, Vert.

"Pft! What about them?" He chuckled, angering all every member of the gang.

"*bonk* What this fool means is that Hanayuki chanted a powerful spell earlier to slow down time for those two. Their fall would usually be taken to death in a few seconds flat, but with the spell, it'd take some time." Gorm, the calm and graceful warrior, had slapped the green haired fool, while effortlessly explaining.

"Hey! That hurts!" He pouted.

"Haha~! Me next! I want to slap you!" Rosso cheerfully exclaimed.

"F*ck off Rosso!" Very stepped away.

"What's with this atmosphere? Are we even in war still?" The four questioned, EXTREMELY confused and speechless of this setting.

"Don't mind these fools. Both Ryu and Akuma's along with Kiroyuki's fall will not be splattered to death, but my mistress is calculating a landing platform." Implicating Hanayui, they turned to see her looking over the edge.

"Huh? Where are they!? I don't see Ryu or Akuma!" Zen exclaimed.

"The barrier around the pair is surrounded of spells, removing them from sight of those who do not posses magic." Kuroiryuu briefly explained.

"Will be okay?" Kiki asked.

"Hmmm... Hopefully!" Rosso but in, holding quite the cheerful expression.

"..."
-----

"I really am the worst and most hated person living on the world..." Closing her eyes, concealing herself away from sight to accept death, she was afraid.
She was afraid to accept death despite wanting to die at this moment.

How cruel and twisted this fairy tale is. A world without magic is suddenly being revealed with truths and lies with magic of great costs.

How unordinary...

"Akuma!"

*gasp*

Flinching, Akuma opened her eyes, feeling deep inside of her, the emotion of happiness. But she denied this emotion, believing it belonged to only Kiroyuki.

"Akuma! Take my hand!" Ryu shouted, also producing flying tears, trying to defy gravity to reach out his hand from the air resistance.

"Why!? Why!?" Akuma shouted, feeling conflicted of all the lies and trauma she was fed up with.

"Because I want to save you!"

*ring*

"S... save..." Immediately, Akuma's red eye glistened, seeing beautiful and gorgeous wings of angel. An angel whom held out his hand to such wretched and evil girl.

"But... I've committed over a hundred of crimes..." She whispered to the breeze.

"You can't die yet! Don't think that you can't fix your mistakes because you can!"

"B-but! If I can reverse my crimes! How can I forgive my heart!?" Akuma screamed, not being able to love herself, putting Kiroyuki into a corner of loneliness.

'Will I be saved now or will it be Akuma?' The silent and heartbroken maiden cried and cried inside the inner thoughts of being locked up like a prisoner.

"I'll help you forgive yourself by loving you! But first! Take my hand, Akuma!" Ryu shouted, full of sincere emotions, feeling desperate to save the girl.

'Ah... L-looks like I have no room to c-cut in... I... I don't w-want t-o ac-accept... accept this f-fate...'

"W-wahhh! Please! Save me, Ryu!" Tears and tears began flying more, one by one. Being free for a brief moment, those tears, they can soar to the sky, reaching those who seek justice for once.

Taking the hand of the angel, Akuma was slowly embraced into Ryu's small yet slightly anew broader chest. The warmth enveloped her, comforting her broken and lost self. How safe she felt.

"Thank you..." She whispered.

'P-please! Don't leave me alone!' The girl cried.

Alone in the dark, scared, exhausted, and hurt. How much more does she have to be killed to just come back to see something emotionally and mentally harmful? To see someone being taken away from her to someone who deserves that boy more.

Oh how it hurts... Oh how she feels like dying once more without the need of a blade at her throat.
