In which a new student meets a squirrel.

Sana POV

"Alright class! Everyone quiet down," my teacher yelled... Gosh why does she have to yell? So loud ㅠ.ㅠ

"We have a new student! Please introduce yourself!"

I saw a figure walk through the door and bow.

"Hello! My name is (L/N) (Y/N)! Nice to meet you!"

They seem so nice! I hope (Y/N) sits next to me!

"Yes, thank you for introducing yourself. Hmmmmm. Go sit next to Sana. Sana, raise your hand please."

I did as the teacher said and saw (Y/N) approach.

(Y/N) POV

After I introduced myself, the teacher told me to sit next to this girl named Sana. I saw her raise her hand and walked towards her, smiling. I saw her face and just, wow.

"*mumbles* so pretty..."

"Huh? Did you say something? I couldn't quite catch that?"

I felt my face turn red and quickly nodded a "no."

"Oh... Okay then..."

I saw her put her head down.

What about her notes then? Won't she need them? I should write another set just in case...

Sana POV

Haha... I heard what (Y/N) said... Fufufu I'm so evil...

Also... Why is Mina staring at (Y/N)? Does she perhaps... Like (Y/N)? No no no! I can't let her get to... My... (Y/N)? I've only just met (Y/N)... It's not like (Y/N) is mine... *sigh* I should just rest...

I put my head down and drifted off...

3rd POV

The class quickly passed by for Sana. However, for (Y/N), the class was long and boring as (Y/N) took 2 sets of notes for Sana, who was asleep the whole time.

Everyone rushed out of the room as it was time for lunch and so did (Y/N)... Until they noticed that Sana wasn't waking up and that there were 8 other people seeming to wait for Sana.

(Y/N) POV

Are they friends with her? If they are, why are they kicking her chair? I should do something either way...

I ran to my seat, pretending that I forgot my notes and woke Sana up.

"Excuse me, Sana-ssi. The bell rang."

And at last, she woke up which caused me quite a scare.

"Ah! Green tea is green! It's just a desk!"

The 8 other girls around her laughed. I also cracked a smile.

"Haha! Wow Sana! That's new," a girl with tofu like skin exclaimed.

Hearing that, I thought,

So, not a grade A student, huh?

"Why didn't you guys wake me up," Sana asked.

"We were about to but (Y/N) beat us to it," A girl that looked like a penguin said.

"Sorry if I interrupted you. Oh yeah! You were sleeping so I took notes for both of us!"

I handed her the notes and she looked shocked... She put her arm around my shoulder, me being a head shorter. (Sorry if you're tall)

She took a deep breath and said,

"(Y/N) is a new student and they even took notes for me? Why won't you? This is why I'm failing, guys!"

"If you don't sleep then maybe you'd get better grades..."

After that, I just blanked out, not paying attention until I felt someone else put their arm around me.

"The new student is seems pretty nice, right? Hey, do you like gaming," a girl with bunny teeth asked.

"Yeah... Is there any reason?"

"Mina! We found a match for you," A raccoon looking girl jokingly said.

I tilted my head.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Someone was about to answer before Sana quickly bursted, saying,

"It just means that you'll get along well!"

"Ah... I see... I should take my leave now. Have a nice day!"

"Noooo! Stay with ussssss," They whined.

"Haha... I guess it would be nice to know some more people."

Sana POV

When Nayeon and Momo brought up (Y/N) being Mina's ideal type, I felt weird... I felt like I didn't want Mina to be here... Like they would have said my name instead of Mina's... What is this feeling? Is this what it feels like to be jealous?

"Haha... I guess it would be nice to know some more people."

I suddenly felt like all my problems went away. My skin is clear, my grades have been raised and it was just a great day.

"Let's go to the convenience store nearby," Jihyo said.

Timeskip

On the way there, I noticed that Mina kept staring at (Y/N)... Mina is a great friend and all, but if it's to compete for (Y/N), I'll do it!

1 month later
(Summary after a month type of thing)

Twice and (Y/N) got along well very quickly. Sana is still not too sure about the relationship between (Y/N) and Mina.

Sana POV

I noticed that (Y/N) and Mina have been awfully close quickly...

Twice, (Y/N) and I all walked out of the gates of school.

What does Mina have that I don't... You know what? Minatozaki Sana! You are going to confront (L/N) (Y/N) today!

I realized that it was darker and everyone besides (Y/N) left.

"Um... (Y/N)-"

I was suddenly grabbed by my arm harshly and was pulled closer to someone... And it wasn't (Y/N).

I felt tears pour down, realizing that I couldn't do anything...

"SANA! HEY! LET GO OF HER ARM! YOU'RE HURTING HER, YOU ASSHOLE!"

"Or what?"

"That's it... You're getting it... Stay still, Sana... And do what I say without questioning me until I get you home... You trust me, right?"

I nodded without hesitation.

(Y/N) launched at the man and hit his face. (Y/N) grabbed my hand and started running. We both lived a long walk away and I got tired of running quickly. (Y/N) must have noticed and said,

"Sana. Get on my back."

"What? But won't you be tir-"

"You said you would listen to me until I got you home, didn't you? Now please, get on. I need to get you home safe."

I complied. What should have taken 20 minutes took 10 minutes. We got home and we were at my door.

"I should go now... Have a good night, Sana. Make sure to lock your doors and eat din-"

"No. You're coming inside. It's late. And your foot is swollen."

"No, don't worry about me! It doesn't hurt anyways! Even if it does, I'll take care of it when I get home. I promise," (Y/N) said with a smile... But I didn't believe it.

"I said no. You're coming inside."

"Hey. I told you to listen to me until I got you to your- oh... Whoops."

"Exactly. Now it's my turn. You'll listen to me until tomorrow, got it?"

"Fineeeeeeeeeeee."

(Y/N) POV

Oh my gosh what do I do now? I'm inside Sana's house... *sigh*

Sana sat me down on the couch and left to get ice and some wraps. Whenever something is swollen, always, always use the RICE* method when you can.

After all that stuff happened, Sana went into the kitchen so I followed, not caring about my leg.

"Hey," I said.

"..."

"Ignoring me now, are you?"

"..."

"Hey... Are you okay?"

"..."

"Ah. The water's rising."

I turned of the stove and moved the cooking pot away from her. She suddenly grabbed me and pulled me to her room.

"What's your relationship with Mina?"

"... What?"

"I said, what's your re-"

"I heard you the first time but... My relationship with Mina? Honey, it's called friendship, something I want more than with you."

"Damn... That was smooth."

"I know right. I'm such a pro. Soooo?"

"Of course! I love you~"
