----- Leap of two weeks -----

Since last two weeks Sanskaar is noticing Swara... She seems completely lost and worn out... As if something is disturbing her highly from inside... Though she tries to remain cheerful and happy in front of others, Sanskaar can easily notice the difference in her behavior... So, he tries to confront her...

SWASAN ROOM... At night after the dinner... Swara enters the room and Sanskaar is standing near the window...

Sanskaar: Swara...!!

On getting no response from her side Sanskaar moves towards her... Swara is keeping the jug and glass on the side table... Sanskaar holds her by her shoulders and makes her face him...

Sanskaar: What happened...??
Swara: Huhh...??
Sanskaar: I'm asking what happened to you...!!
Swara: Nothing... Kuch bhi toh nahin... Nothing happened to me... I'm fine...!! (gives a fake smile)
Sanskaar: (takes a deep breath) Do you remember... once I told you that your eyes speak a lot...!! (Swara looks at him) And why is it so that today your tongue is speaking something else and your eyes are speaking something entirely different...
Swara: It's nothing like that Sanskaar... (she tries to move away but Sanskaar holds her tight in his embrace and starts caressing her hairs)
Sanskaar: When you know you can't lie to me why do you even try...?? I'm your life partner not for name sake... We are soul mates Swara... No matter what it is... but I have the right to know what is bothering you...

Swara takes a deep breath and clutches his shirt tightly...

Sanskaar: Swara...!!
Swara: I'm scared Sanskaar...
Sanskaar: (worried) What happened...?? Has anybody said anything to you...?? (he cups her face... Swara nods her head in a NO)... Then...
Swara: Two weeks before baba called me... and told me that apparently... Satya and Aditya Kashyap have joined hands... against us...
Sanskaar: What...?? And you are telling me this now...!! What if something would have happened to you in these two weeks...
Swara: That is why I'm tensed Sanskaar... It has been two weeks but still they haven't done anything... It means they are planning something really big this time... and I'm scared of that...
Sanskaar: (cups her face) Nothing will happen unless and until we are with each other... So stop worrying...!!

Swara nods her head... Sanskaar smiles and gives a kiss on her forehead...

Sanskaar: Okay... now go to sleep... I have some office work... I'll sleep after completing that...

Swara nods her head and moves towards her bed... Sanskaar turns back facing the window and starts reading a file... but all of a sudden everything in front of her eyes goes black and she feels as if everything is rotating and all she could mutter in a weak feeble voice is the name of the person she trusts the most...

Swara: (extending her hand towards him) Sanskaarrrr...!!

Sanskaar turns and finds Swara half unconscious... But before she could fall down he holds her...

Sanskaar: (highly worried) Swara... Swara... (pats her cheeks) What happened...?? Open your eyes Swara...!!

He takes her to the bed and sprinkles few drops of water on her face... Swara opens her eyes slowly... and Sanskaar takes a sigh of relief...

Sanskaar: What happened to you Swara...?? Why didn't you tell me that you are not feeling well...?? Wait let me call others...!!
Swara: (immediately holds his hand) No Sanskaar wait... Don't tell anything to anyone... They will get worried unnecessarily...
Sanskaar: Seriously Swara... Unnecessarily...!! How long have you been like this...??
Swara: (rolling her eyes) Since a week...!! (bites her lips)
Sanskaar: What...?? Okay... fine... you are coming with me to the doctor...!! Come on get up...!!
Swara: Sanskaar... It's so late in the night... I'll go tomorrow...!!
Sanskaar: I'll also come with you...
Swara: No...
Sanskaar: Yes...
Swara: No...
Sanskaar: Yes... Yes... Yes...
Swara: But you have work at the office... Don't worry... I'll take Ragini with me... and no more arguments on that...!!
Sanskaar: Okay... fine...!! But now... sleep...!!

He makes her lie on the bed and covers her with a comforter... She smiles and he kisses her temple...

Sanskaar: Good night... and don't forget to go to the doctor tomorrow...
Swara: (smiles) Hmm... good night...!!

And she drifts to sleep... and Sanskaar lies besides her embracing her and caressing her hairs...!!

Next morning... Swara gets ready and comes down... She finds everyone preparing something...

Swara: Good morning everyone... what is happening...??
Ap: Beta... we are doing arrangements for day after tomorrow...
Swara: Day after tomorrow... What is it day after tomorrow...??
Laksh: (shocked) You don't know...?? (Swara nods her head in a No) Seriously... you don't know...!! Oh My God... I don't believe this... YOU... You don't know what it is day after tomorrow...!!
Swara: Please Laksh... Stop being so dramatic... and tell me what it is day after tomorrow...!!
Ap: Swara beta... Ignore him... But really Sanskaar hasn't told you anything...??
Swara: (innocently) No Maa..!!

By that time Sanskaar comes down getting ready for the office... Ap calls him...

Ap: Sanskaar...!!
Sanskaar: Haan Maa...
Ap: What is this beta...?? You haven't told Swara that it's your birthday day after tomorrow...
Swara: (shocked) What...?? (she turns towards Sanskaar and gives him an angry glare)
Sanskaar: (smiles apologetically) Oh sorry... I forgot to tell her...!!
Ap: You must have told her naa...!!
Sanskaar: (moves towards Swara and holds her hands) I'm really sorry Swara... I totally forgot to tell you...!!
Swara: (gives a slight smile) That's okay...!! But I won't forgive you next time...

They both smile seeing each other... Just then Ragini comes there and chuckles seeing both of them...

Ragini: (coughs intentionally) Some people should remember that they are not alone in the house and moreover, central hall is not a place for being romantic...

Swasan realizes what she said... and they leave their hands immediately...

Sanskaar: (clears his throat) Aahaa... hmm... I think I should leave... otherwise I'll get late... (he moves towards the door but stops and turns) Ragini... Can do me a favour...??
Ragini: Haan Sanskaar... why not...!!
Sanskaar: Will you please accompany Swara to the doctor today...??
Ragini: (shocked) What... Doctor...?? Swara are you not feeling well...??
Sanskaar: She is not well since last week... So please take her otherwise she won't go...!!
Ragini: Don't worry Sanskaar... I'll take her... Main bhi dekhti hoon kaise nahin jaegi...!!
Sanskaar: (smiles) Thank you...!!

Ragini smiles... and Sanskaar leaves for the office...

At the hospital... Doctor comes out after checking Swara...

Ragini: What happened Doctor...?? Is she fine...?? Please tell me there is nothing to worry about...!!
Doctor: Relax... Mrs. Maheshwari... I have checked her... I'll tell you everything once the report comes in my hand...
Ragini: And when will the reports come...??
Doctor: We will get the reports in an hour... Till then you can sit in the waiting lounge...
Ragini: Hmm... okay...

WAITING LOUNGE...

Ragini keeps on pacing up and down nibbling her nails while Swara keeps on watching her with an amused face...

Swara: (takes a deep breath) Offoo Ragini... Sit down... You are making me feel giddy...
Ragini: (shocked) What...!! (sits near Swara and says in one breath) See... I knew it that you are not feeling well... You are feeling giddy... what else are you feeling...?? Do you want to go any other hospital...??
Swara: Ragini... Ragini... Relax... take a deep breath... I'm fine... I'm just asking you to sit down...

Just then the ward boy comes...

Ward boy: Mrs. Swara Sanskaar Maheshwari...??
Swara: Yes...??
Ward boy: The doctor is calling you...

Swara and Ragini walk towards the doctor cabin...

Ragini: What does the report say ma'am... Is she fine...??
Doctor: Oh absolutely... In fact I have a good news for you...!!
Swara: Good news...??
Doctor: (smiles) Yes Mrs. Maheshwari... You are two weeks pregnant...!!
Ragini: (shrieks out) What...?? Aaaaa... Swara... I don't believe this... I don't believe this...

She starts jumping and hugs Swara.... Whereas Swara stands there stiff with tears of joy, happiness and several feelings mixed all together start rolling down her cheeks...

Ragini: (looks at her and wipes off her tears) Now these tears don't have any place in your life... So now I want a million dollar smile...!!

Swara smiles... and keeps her palm on her belly affectionately... She smiles... smiles... and keeps on smiling feeling the new life breathing inside her... she feels like a complete woman... one who is a lover, a wife, a daughter-in-law and a mother... She is unable to confine the joy inside her...

Swara: So, here it is...!! The symbol of our love Sanskaar... I love you so much... I can't wait to tell you this...!!
Ragini: (to the doctor) She fine naa doctor... Everything alright...!!
Doctor: Absolutely fine... No sign of any complications... But you must take good care of her...
Ragini: (smiles) Definitely... The whole family will be so happy after knowing this...
Swara: (hold her hand) Ragini... please don't tell anything to anyone now...
Ragini: (confused) But why...??
Swara: I want this (places her palm on her belly) to be Sanskaar's birthday present... I bet he will never expect a gift as special as this...!!
Ragini: (nods grinning widely) He will be totally blown out... I seriously want to see his expressions... (Swara smiles) But then what will we tell others...
Swara: Just tell them that due to travel and all I was a bit stressed out... nothing else... and I'll tell this to Sanskaar tomorrow midnight...!!

Ragini nods and then both of them leave for Maheshwari Mansion...

It's almost evening... Swara is eagerly waiting for Sanskaar... even though she is not planning on telling him this but all she wanted is to see him right in front of her eyes... she wants to be with him...

Just then a knock at the door brings a smile on her face... She hops up to open the door... But to her dismay all except Sanskaar have returned...

Swara: Laksh... where is Sanskaar...??
Laksh: Ohh... Bhai...!! He had some work back at the office so he will be coming after an hour...!! Why... missing him already...!! (winks at her)
Swara: (rolls her eyes) Shut up Laksh...!!

Laksh giggles and walks away... Swara sits on the sofa waiting for Sanskaar...

THREE HOURS LATER... almost 10:00 pm

Swara: Laksh... you said that he will come back in an hour... but he is not back yet... Three hours have passed...!!
Laksh: Relax Swara... Maybe... maybe... he got stuck in some work...!! He will come back... (but inside he is also getting worried)

Swara gets restless... an unknown fear hits her heart... she takes out her mobile and dials Sanskaar's number...

"The number you have dialed is currently not reachable... Pleas....", Swara cuts the call before the message completes... She dials again.... But cuts the call on hearing the same message again... She keeps calling him frantically for half-an-hour when the landline of the house starts ringing...

Swara: Sanskaar...!! (she runs and picks up the call) Hello... hello... Sanskaar... whe...

"Ahaaa... as expected", a familiar voice cuts in between...

Swara: W... W... Who are you...?? (she already knows who the person is but still keeps on denying her inner-self)
Person: Not fair jaan... You forgot me so easily...!!
Swara: Sa... Satya... (she gulps down as she finally manages to take his name)... (everyone in the family gets shocked on hearing his name and all of them walk towards her asking her to put the call on loudspeaker... Swara keeps the call on loudspeaker)
Satya: Bingo... there you are...!! Ohhh... what a relief... I thought you forgot me... AFTER YOUR MARRIAGE... (his voice turns grim all of a sudden)...
Swara: (wiping the sweat off her face) Why... have you called here...??
Satya: Why... were you expecting your lovey hubby to call you...??
Swara: (feels as if someone hit her heart with daggers) What... what do you mean...??
Satya: Well... well... well... he is here... WITH US... (he says in a dangerous voice)
Swara: (tears start trailing down her cheeks) Don't you dare lay a hand on MY HUSBAND... (she says boldly in between her sobs)...
Aditya: Offoo love... don't worry... we believe in fair play...!!
Sanskaar: (growls from behind) Don't you dare talk to her like that...!!
Aditya: Oh God... Your husband is so restless... even when he is sitting on the chair... WITH HIS HANDS AND LEGS TIED TO IT...
Swara: What...!! Sanskaar... Sanskaar...
Sanskaar: Don't worry Swara... I'm fine...!!
Aditya: And he will be fine unless and until you do what we want you to do...!!
Sanskaar: Don't listen to them Swara... they won't be able to do anything to me...!!
Aditya: Do you really think so...?? Want a trailer before the movie...??

He rolls his palm into a fist and gives a heavy blow on Sanskaar's face...

"Aaaahhhh...", Sanskaar winces in pain...
"Sanskaar", shouts Swara as if her entire world comes crashing down in front of her eyes...
