I pushed for the last time and screamed. The room was full of nurses and a doctor along with my mama. My brothers, Mario's brothers, my dad, some of my cousins, and Cassious were all in the waiting room.

"Happy New Year, Mama," The nurse told me putting my baby on my chest. I cried, not because I was hurting, not because my baby looked funny but because I actually gave birth. I brought another life into this world and I knew I was going to love my baby and be strong for my baby no matter what.

An hour later...

Everything was all cleaned up. We were moved into another room, everyone wanted to come and see who she looked like but she didn't really have features like that.

My baby was brown as with hella motherfucking hair, that's all that mattered.

"She's going to get lighter by the way."

"What you mean 'lighter'?"

"Mario was a little darker than this color when he was born and he obviously got lighter."

I rolled my eyes cause he was trying to be a smart ass as if I wasn't already irritated enough. I just gave birth to a 7 lbs baby NATURALLY! No fucking epidural!

Cassious came in with a sleep Alexandra. My fucking heart lit up because she was huge.

"Aye, don't let him know you have seen her because I'ma get in trouble."

"He has you watching her?"

"I'm actually in traffic right now, I'm supposed to be taking her to see Honey's mom before the engagement party."

"Engagement party?"

"Yeah, they getting married."

I laughed in my head, look at my dumb ass.

"You see my pretty ass baby?"

"Hell yeah, ya mama not letting anybody hold her."

"I bet, I gotta watch out for her because my baby probably gon' be on the next flight to Houston if I don't."

 Alexandra woke up when Cassious laid her on the bed with me. She looked at me and did a double-take then started trying to jump up on my lap.

"Hollup mamas, that shit hurts."

I repositioned myself so she and I could both be comfortable, I sent for my child and when she came I let Baby Alex hold Baby A, this was honestly the best sight ever. I took a picture for keepsake because I wasn't about to get Cassious in trouble.

"Alexandra say, baby," Cassious told her. She didn't really get it the first couple of times but after sounding it out a couple of times she finally said it.

"Yay!" She screamed clapping her hands. 

At this point, I was as stress-free as stress-free could get. I was happy, content, everything, I was Alexandra Guadalupe Anderson- Morales, mother of Alejandra Maria Anderson- Morales and most definitely mother figure to Alexandra Jzh'Xorri Brown.

They stayed for a little bit more, then left so that the times would match up.
