Chapter Three
After that day, the week went by pretty fast. I was forward to the double date. Kirishima and I never went on an official date so this'll be fun.
"Are you ready for later Kiri?" I asked him.
"Mhm! I can't wait!" He did a closed-eye smile and it melted me. He was so adorable.
"Hello guys!" Deku walked over. "Don't forget about the date later tonight!" He reminded us.
"We know Deku. We were just talking about that. Where are we going to eat by the way?" I asked.
"We're going to a restaurant that you probably never heard of before. It's within walking distance from the park and it isn't that expensive so you won't need to bring your money. I can pay for everyone." He did a closed-eye smile too. Ew.
I wondered if I should accept the fact that he was going to pay for us or keep my pride. I'll still have pride after this. "Alright. I won't bring money."
"Good. Also, don't bring your phones. It'll be distracting and we're planning on playing some games at the park and it'll be hard to play games if you're on your phone the entire time, wouldn't it?" Something about the way he said that sounded off.
"Okay. That's an easy rule, right Bakugou?" Kirishima told him. I nodded. I started to think that this date was a bad idea but Kiri seemed so excited about it so I couldn't just tell him that I'm not going when it's in a few hours.
"Yeah. I'll leave my phone in my dorm." I stared suspiciously at Deku until he walked away like nothing happened. Weird...
----------------
I banged my fist against Kirishima's door. "Open up! It's almost time to leave!"
"I'm still getting ready!" I heard his voice through the door. "Don't come in! Isn't it like bad luck to see your date before a date?"
"You're thinking of fiancé's and weddings. It's a date, not a wedding." I reminded him but I stayed outside of him dorm and waited patiently until he walked out and I was amazed. His hair was down and he was wearing a nice t-shirt with jeans.
"Is something wrong?" He tilted his head.
"Nope! Not at all! Let's go." I stood up and grabbed his hand before we left the building. Deku told us not to bring anything at all so we didn't bring our scooters. Something very suspicious was happening. I brought my phone, dispite what Deku or Kirishima said. I hid it in a pocket that I had sewn in my shirt for this very reason. I just didn't trust this situation.
"I have a bad feeling aboit this." I decided to share my conserns to Kirishima.
"What?" He looked at me.
"I have a bad feeling about this date. Something feels off." I shrugged and looked down.
"O-Oh. We can cancel it if you want." I could hear the disappointment in his voice.
"No! I never said that I didn't want to go now did I Shitty Hair? We're going whether you like it or not." I gripped his hand tighter and walked faster.
I could feel the smile radiating off of him as we continued walking. "Thanks Bakugou."
"Tch, well, I know that this date means a lot to you. You've been looking forward to it since we left the park." I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah." I looked at him and smiled.
"Your hair is so fucking adorable."
He blushed a little. "We-well, you seemed to like it a while ago so I decided to have it down for tonight."
I ruffled his hair with my free hand and instantly fell in love with it. I took my other hand away and petted him. "So soft~"
"Bakugou. Please stop petting my hair." He chuckled.
"Make me~" I smirked and continued walking while having both of my hands focused on his hair.
"F i n e t h e n." He cleared his throat and I slowly started to regret not listening to him. "I'll just call you Bakubabe and Katsuki until you get your hands off of my hair."
"You'll forget eventually." I sneered. I shouldn't have said that because once someone says that, the other person instantly doesn't forget.
"Whatever you say Bakubabe~" Kirishima smiled and walked faster ahead of me.
"Slow down a little, will ya?" I asked him, keeping my hands on his head. I was determined not to loose.
"Nope. You'll just have to try to kesp up Katsuki." He smirked.
"Kirishima," I started.
"Bakubabe?"
"How about we compromise? You stop calling me those names and I pet you when we get to the park." I asked.
"Hmmmm." He thought for a moment. "Fine then." I took my hands off of him and he grabbed one.
I smiled and I noticed that we were almost at the park. "Look, we're almost here."
"I see that Bakugou." He checked a watch that he brought for time reasons. "Huh. That's weird."
"What is?" I asked.
He showed me his watch. "It's almost 6:27 and they aren't here."
Something was definitely off. "Alright, sit in the swing and I'll figure this out." He nodded and walked away as I pulled out my phone and texted Half 'n Half.
B- Hey, where are you two?!
H- ???
B- What do you mean '???'? You and Deku are supposed to be here by now and you are nowhere to be seen!
H- What are you talking about?
B- That double date that Deku told us about! You and him were supposed to be here by now!
H- I never knew anything about a date.
That sentence sent chills down my spine. Please be a joke.
B- Haha. Very funny. Just get out here and let's get this over with.
H- Bakugou. I have no idea whatsoever about what you're talking about. Maybe you have the wrong people?
B- Deku was the one who said it and I know that for a fact!
H- Weird. Maybe he set you and Kirishima up on a date. He talks about getting you two closer together.
B- That's it?! He just wants us to talk more?!
H- I guess?? You see things differently than I do.
B- Anyways, I have a date to get to. Tell Deku I said 'thanks' later okay Icyhot?
H- Sure.
I put my phone away into the hidden pocket and turned around. I noticed that the swings were empty. Where did Kirishima go? I looked around for him then I heard something fall from the tree. I saw that it was Deku. He was dressed too fancy for a park that could give you grass stains. He wore a white shirt, black vest, and gloves.
"What the hell is going on Deku?! I thought that this was going to be a double date!" I yelled.
I got a text from someone. I felt it vibrate but I'm sure that Deku didn't notice. "Oh, we are. Just, not the type that you are thinking." He smirked and winked.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?! And tell me where Kirishima is now!" I growled.
"Don't worry, he's fine." He waved his hand through the air like it was casual. "He's just passed out."
"What do you mean, 'He's just passed out'?!?"
He smirked and leaped towards me. He grabbed my shirt collor and pushed me to the ground. "I mean exactly what I said. I didn't hurt him that bad, I just tranquilized him. It wasn't enought o kill him, we need him alive."
"We?! Alive?! What the hell are you talking about you darn nerd!"
He laughed. It wasn't his usual laugh, it was more crazy and idiotic. "So you'll cooperate of course!" He pushed my head into the ground and I grunted. "We need you to join us."
"Who?! If you wanted me to join some club, just ask! You didn't need to set up this fake date, tranquilize Kirishima, and threaten me!" I yelled angrily.
"Oh silly silly Kacchan~" He smiled. "This isn't just 'some club'. Oh boys~" Deku snapped his fingers and lifted my head up using my hair. I saw villians surround us and one had Kirishima's limp body with a knife at his neck.
"KIRISHIMA!" I wiggled and tried to get away from Deku's grasp. "LET HIM GO! HE HAS NO PART IN THIS!"
Deku just laughed. I felt something cold press into my neck gently before realizing that it was a blade. "Oh yes he does~. Well, he does now. Ya see? If we just threatened you, you wouldn't comply and you would go off. But if we threatened Kirishima," He laughed again. "That's a whole other story."
"Please, just let him go and I'll do what you say." I was lying obviously, but I didn't want Kirishima to get hurt. He didn't have any part in this.
"Kacchan, I've known you since forever, I can tell when you're lying." He slammed my head into the ground again. I could feel the dirt stick to my forehead. I didn't know if it was because of sweat or blood or a mixture of both, but whatever it was, it was making me unconfortable.
I growled. "If this is some type of cruel joke, you're sick!"
"Of course this isn't some 'cruel joke'. This is the real world Kacchan. People don't do what they want to do all of the time. Man up and decide."
"Decide what?!"
"Join the League of Villians, or Kirishima dies in front of you and it'll be your fault." My eyes grew wide.
"Deku... What happened to you?! Why did you join them?!" I screamed, almost in tears.
"They asked nicely. Now choose, or we choose for you, and there are no guarantees that Kirishima survives. We aren't holding back." I looked up and managed to see his eyes. They were glowing green and they had a whole new aura that I never knew that Deku knew he had.
"I don't want Kirishima to get hurt! I'll join your stupid group!" I growled loudly.
"Good choice." Deku smiled menacingly. "But we are going to keep Kirishima until we are certain that you won't leave us."
"THAT WASN'T PART OF THE DEAL! IT WAS THAT I JOINED AND KIRISHIMS WOULD BE SAFE!"
"Oh, he will be, as long as you comply and don't give us an attitude like you're doing right now. Maybe you'll learn that we aren't kidding if we show you some blood."
Deku snapped my head to face towards Kirishima. The villian who was holding him pressed the knife against his arm. He dug it deeper into his skin until he woke up amd yelled. They stuffed a bandana into his mouth and drew blood. His eyes were wide with confusion and I bet that his arm hurt. He used his quirk before the villain could do that again.
"No! Stop! Just leave him alone!" I thrashed around on the ground.
"We will, as long as you agree~."
"I agree! I promise I'll join just leave him alone!" I repeated from earlier. I wanted to get my point across.
"We're keeping Kirishima." He smiled and snapped his fingers again. "Boys, let's put them in the van."
A new set of arms grabbed mine and dragged me to a dark van. I thrashed my legs around and I was thrown inside. Kirishima was next. He sat up and winced as his quirk deactivated in his arm. I grabbed the bandana that he lost when he was tossed in and wrapped it around his cut.
"What the hell is going here Bakugou?!"
"Deku is a part of the League of Villains. He tricked us and forced me to join." I looked down.
"How did they force you?!" His voice was questioning.
"They used you. They threatened to take your life if I didn't join then cut you to show that they weren't kidding." I gestured to his hurt arm.
"Oh..." I suddenly broke down. Kirishima held me and patted my head. "It's okay Bakugou. Just, do as they say. The heroes will notice that I'm missing and search for me. If they let you continue school like everything is normal you can tell them and we'll be free." He grabbed my hands. "Everything will be okay. I promise."
