Cardi P.O.V.

                   I woke up from my sleep and all I hear is loud noises coming from downstairs.

"Sista what the fuck is that noise", Hennessy said waking up from her sleep

"Stop!", a loud female voice coming from downstairs

"I don't know it sound like momma", I said then we went downstairs to see what's going on

               I see my momma lip busted and my dad over her. Every night, he gets drunk and start abusing my family.

"Man get the fuck off of her", I said

"And what the fuck you going to do bitch", my dad looking up at me

"Man who the fuck you talking to...Nah you the bitch and beat your ass that's what the fuck I'm going to do", I said going up to the him and then Hennessy grabbed me

"Lil girl you better go back into that room." He huffed at me. I wasn't backing down though and I heaved my chest back up at him.

"Cardi Just walk Aw-

Before henny could get her full sentence out he had smacked her across the face with a small grin of satisfaction. She held her face in complete shock, stunned that he had just hit her.

"You motherfucker!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as I charged him to the ground.

We tussled on the ground for a minute or two until he rolled over on top and started choking the life out of me.

"Help..." I try to say but it was barely a whisper. Before I knew it my vision started fading in and out.

In a blink of an eye there was a loud clash in sound like something shattered and I found myself gasping for the air I needed to breath again.

"Bitch." My sister said through gritted teeth as she held the bottom half of a broken vase.

August P.O.V

It had to be 3 in the morning when my phone started vibrating on my dresser. I tried to ignore it but it vibrated so hard it fell off the dresser hitting me.

"Man.... Who the fuck?" I clicked my teeth picking up my phone.

"Hello?" I answered . On the other line was a frantic cardi. "Hold on baybeh....... say what ??? Aight . Just chill and I'm finna come getcha ok? Aight luv ya."

I immediately got out of bed and put on my quickest clothes which happened to be sweats and white Tee. Putting on my sneakers I dot the door grabbing my keys and phone. I get in my truck speeding off.

I can't believe her father putting hands on his seeds. That's fucked up. What's even more fucked up is her mom just sitting there taking dat shit. She goes back ta him every time. I pull up to Cardi's crib and see her outside with who I'm assuming is her sista. They had a few bags next to them and when I got out cardi stood.

"Aug." she crashed into my arms and I embraced her.

"Where he at?" I questioned.

"Henny knocked him out with a vase and he's been down since." She explained through tears.

"Your mom?"

"She's crying over his body and blaming us she told us to leave and never come back." She cried out making my jaw clench.

I let Cardi go and walk into the house as she calls for me but I ignored her. I walked over to where her mom was currently weeping a no good nigga. She looked up at me and instantly stopped crying.

"Who da hell are —." She couldn't finish her sentence because I pushed her out the way and grabbed the man's wrist.

"He has a pulse he's alive ya dummy." I blurt out.

"Excuse me?" She looked at me weird.

"You sure as hell is excused.... from being a poor excuse for a mother. Get ya shit together and don't reach out to those girls from this day on respectfully!" I said about to walk out.

"Those are my daughters, I will see them."

"Try it and I'll make sure ya don't have a pulse." She looked at me appalled and I continued walking out the house.

I picked up their bags and we got in the car driving off instantly.

I know it's been awhile but this book is under extreme construction. Some things were deleted and changed. Originally it was two authors to this book but my account your mistake hoe. We fell out obviously so things are a little bit different. I'm keeping the story the exact same, but I did delete the shit that made no sense and I never wanted in the book in the first place. The ending and everything will be the same. I will write in this book often and try to update it as much as possible. Once I get up in the written chapters say about 5 prewritten chapters I'll drop one per week like I do She Bangs. So be looking for updates on this book real soon.
