Karin's P.O.V

"See your parents and my parents don't agree, they think our love is temporary cause we only teens, but not to many get right on the first try, and the feeling so right for the first time!"

"Your my four letter word, four letter word my four letter word four letter." I sung along to the song just thinking about everything that has transpired the good and the bad.

I sigh and take the short walk from my room to the staircase. My brother Keshaun door was close so I'm assuming he was in there drawing up a storm. My other brother Jeffrey went out and probably wouldn't come back till later tonight and as for my mom I haven't spoken to her since the incident earlier. Knowing her tho she's either at work or some where some how nose telling it behind ( dad's name ).  I make way my down the stairs and start rummaging through the cabinets. Once I found a snack worth settling on I put everything back and lift up on my tip toes to close the cabinets. Short people problems.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

Right before I could eat my cheez its there was a knock on the door.  I turn the tumblers and opened the door. My mouth dropped as I was filled with surprise.

"Oh my gosh Keith what are you doing here?" I questioned. Which probably dont seem like the best answer, but I had a reason to ask and not jump for joy.

"Can I come in?" He suggested, but I didn't move an inch to let him do so.

"I don't think that, that's a good idea. " I said nervously and he furrowed his eyebrows at me.

"Karin what is going on." He asked but his words seemed to echo.

~flashback ~

*earlier that day*

"Now when your butt late to practice because you wanna play around." I spoke over the phone.

"I just like talking to my baby girl, you my everything you know that. " He started avoiding looking at me and when Keith does that it means he's nervous and or getting shy about something.

"Keith baby." I said catching his attention making him stop walking.

"Yes K." He answered.

"I love you too." I responded and his eyes started to glisten.  Before he could get his next words out my phone was snatched out my hand and thrown to the floor ending the call.

"KARIN!" My mom yelled furiously.

"MOM!" I jumped up utterly confused.

"Today will be the last day you contact that hoodlum!" My mom demanded.

"Hoodlum? Yeah ok. " I spoke sarcastically folding my arms.

"I'm not allowing it and sure ass hell your father ain't!"

"You cant just barge in here and demand stuff mom!"

" I  can and I will! Now I don't wanna here no more talk of this Keith boy or hear no more of this fake love mess." She said about to walk out my room.

"Why does it bother you so? I snapped making her turn around.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me. Why does my relationship with Keith bother you? "

"Little girl you better choose your words wise---"

"Is it the fact that he loves me like dad never loved you?"

*SMACK*

Her hand had made contact with my skin and I instantly grabbed the spot where her hand hit. A few tears slipped, but not much. I looked up at her as she said nothing but just turned and walked away. I sat down on the edge of my bed,letting the events that just happened reoccur in my head.

"You alright?" My brother Keshaun asked walking in my room. He picked up my now cracked phone and handed it to me.

"I guess so." I spoke through sniffles.

"Mom don't mean nun of it, she has her own insecurities and she takes them out on you, but dont let that create insecurities for you, you're amazing. " Keshaun reasoned before getting up and walking back towards the door.

"Hey Keshaun!" He look towards my way. "Thank you." I said smiling and reflected it before continuing out the door.
