Scotty

Sophie's P.O.V

"Please." I heard a soft voice, directed at me. I turned from the computer screen I was working on and looked at Dirk. "You have to get her back. I have to have her back. Please." I gave him a questioning look and got up to sit on a plush green couch, beckoning Dirk over, but did not speak. After a moment of silence, he spoke up again. "Angelika. She is my only family. When I was younger, our parents were in a horrible car accident. We were taken to an orphanage as we had no family. As soon as Angelika was 18, we left. We now live in an apartment with the money we were left by our parents. I do have a friend though, he is my best and only friend. My dog, could I have him in here instead of tyed up outside?" I thought for a moment

I myself didn't mind the dog inside, in fact I loved dogs. But it is Clara's mansion her parents have been so kind as to let us stay in. "I-i don't know if Clara..." I trailed off and Dirk cut in. "Its ok, I understand." He tried to smile as his chin started to quiver. "Ill see what I can do." I said just as a tear rolled down his face. I knew he was guilt tripping me to get his way but I just melted.

Darren's P.O.V

"Yo, guys! Move all those seats into the middle, we need a meeting." I heard Sophie's voice as she hollered across the room. Eventually we sat in a semi circle of a couch, comfortable chairs and a love seat with Sophie standing at the front. "Right, ill start. Can Dirk keep his dog up here?" She asked. My blood ran cold. "No!" I yelled at the same time as Clara gave the algood. "No please no, anything but a dog!" I screamed again. My heart was pounding. "Why?" Keira asked in a duh voice. I sighed and stood slowly, turning so my back was to everyone. I could see confusion in Cassy's eyes as I lifted my shirt. There was a collective gasp. "Sweet bro." Ryker tried to lighten the mood. "C-can I touch it?" I turned to Cassy to see the worry in her deep brown eyes. "Yep." I said lightly. "It dosnt hurt." I told her but I shivered a painful memory of the day shot through my brain with every gentle stroke of her soft fingers. "Get OUT!" My uncle yelled, his dark, unshaven face scared me and I dropped the red crayon I had been using to draw uncle a picture on his wall. I thought he would like it. I was wrong. Cassy gently placed a finger on my right shoulder, on top of the fat, white scar. I ran to a corner by the fence and huddled down, my head in my knees. After a while I found a stick and began to draw in the loose dirt. "Do you ever stop drawing, you horrible child!" Uncle saw me and yelled again, it scared ne even more. Cassy ran her fi.gets lightly over my spine where the scar ran across it. "Why I ever took you in I dont know!" Uncle continued his rant. I put my small hands over my ears and my head in my knees. "Look at me when I speak to you!" I raised my head. That was one of my weaknesses. I saw it happen. He bent and yanked the pitbull up and released the hook of its leash. "Attack!" He yelled and my eyes widened as I realised what was happening. I clambered up and began to run. I tripped on a hide hidden in the overgrown grass and fell. I hit my head but git up again. Just as I had picked myself up the dog caught up. The next bot went in slow motion. I tried to dart out of the way but failed. The dog found my back and I heard my t shirt ripping, being ever optimistic for a 5 year old, I thought 'I needed a new one anyways. Then the pain hit. The dog had sliced my whole back. I screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Cassy's finger stopped at my left him, paused over what looked like half a bite. I moved my pants a bit so she could see the whole bite mark. The dog found my thigh and dug his teeth into it and I cried out in pain again. "Kaiser BACK!" I heard uncle scream and the dog released. As I lay in a pool of my own blood uncle spoke for the last time I ever saw him. "Hope that taught you a lesson, devil child' and closed the door behind him, laughing. I was in too much pain to even cry. The last thing I saw was the kind lady from next door jump the fence because she had heard the noise. She was unfased as she assessed the scene, picked ne up and lay ne across her arms so that my back was facing up. Then everything went black.

I heard sobbing coming from the couch. I walked over to Dirk. "Look, mate, im sorry-" But he cut me off. "Have you ever been so alone. Then you found this one friend that you could trust, rely on and talk to? Do you know that feeling of not belonging. Until you find that friend. Do you know that feeling?" I sat n silence for a moment before replying. "Yes."

Dirk's P.O.V

I smiled at my lie. I knew just how to get my way. I had parents. They lived in Germany in the Lect family castle. I made my way down the attic stairs and into the elevator. Once on the bottom floor, I exited out the back door and crossed the yard to where Scotty was tied up. We found him when he was a puppy, on our door step. Light rain began to fall. "Scott, hi, its raining boy, come inside."I told my beloved dog as we walked inside and into the elevator. Once inside, he shook his shaggy black coat and looked up at me. When we found him he was already 5 years old, I was 3. He is now fairly old for a dog and apart from the white bib and socks he has, there is also Grey-white hairs speckling his black coat. He also has a dusting of white around his nose and mouth, making him look like he has moustache and beard. I look into his deep brown eyes I see gratefulness. He hates water.
