(A/N This is during Darkmount NV, where the autobots were seperated while Nova was trying to get away from all this. After what happened, she didn't want to go back.)

The truck driver was giving a ride to a mysterious girl. Ever since he was driving when he saw a young girl standing behind the forest. She made a thumbs up for hitching a ride as he let her in. He stared at the mysterious girl who seems silent and judging by her clothes, it seems very dirty as though she was caught in a fight.

"You seem very quiet." He asked, breaking the silence.

The blue-hair girl turned to him, "Is that a bad thing?"

"No, It's just.....seems unusual to see a young girl on the road."

"I guess....I have been travelling a lot." Nova said, staring at the window.

"So, Where are you heading?"

"As Far away as possible."

It was bit awkward silenced between the two, he couldn't understand what she was having in her mind. "Um.....anyway what happened to you? Your clothes seem a bit dirty almost like you were in a fight." The truck driver said.

She spoke, "That's becoz....I did."

"Really?"

"Let's just say I've fought some thugs and managed to put them in place."

"Huh,  you sure know how to fight.....almost like a professional fighter. What kind of fighting techniques? Judo? Wrestling?"

"Um...Would you believe military fighting tactics?"

" Wow, to think someone your age is a military woman. So how did you end up in the middle of nowhere " 

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." She replied before going back to the window

As She remained silent once more through travelling, she had told the truth, mostly. When she meant by thugs, she meant by decepticons. Nova was no longer wearing her coat since it was destroyed in the fight.

20 minutes earlier

In the forest, three vehicons were scouting the forest when they detected an energy signature. The searched around the area until they didn't noticed a silhouette, standing above the tress, looking down at them with blue fierce eyes as the figure moved swiftly. The 3rd one was looking around, separated with his two vehicons, when he heard snapping sound as it turned around only to have his head sliced through. 

The two vehicons heard their comrade as they head back to see one of their own were killed. They heard footstep as they turned around to see a technorganic standing there from a distance, whose eyes were glowing dangerously.

The 2nd vehicon was about to comm for back up when a lightning blast pierce through it's spark chamber as it toppled on the ground. The vehicon was surprised when he saw two of his were killed before aiming his blaster at her. 

"Scrap!" She shout and roll under the edge just as blaster bolts pepper around her. The sound around her is nothing but the loud impacts of the laser fire on metal around her. Once footsteps are added to the mix, she start moving across her cover as far as she can away from where it's going to get off so she's not right under it. Once it steps down, it looks for her but can't find her where it thinks she might be. She took a deep breath as she turned back just as she was about to round a corner and fire off another shell again.

"HEY! UGLY!"

  Another energy shot rings out and sparks fly off the side of its head. The vehicon looks to find her standing where she was originally when she fired with her lightning hand aimed at him. Like she just challenged him, he aims his blaster  at her this time. Now that the fire is set at her, She quickly look around for something that she can use as cover or as a more effective. Her eyes land on the branch to her right which was far from her. She thought of an idea that can used as a spear.

'Got nothing to lose!' Looking back to the bot it fires.  

  "Hra!" She jump to the side before the shot hits her but instead where she was standing. The force of the shots impact is by far the closest she has been shot at it and just barely miss it by the skin of her teeth. She grunt as she hit the ground, she slowly stood up and noticed her coat was almost on fire as she quickly removed it. Looking up, She saw that she's right next to the spear.

'Perfect'

  "Hold still." She heard the Decepticon menacingly say to her as he primes another shot. Before he was about to shoot, She used her power at her black coat as she tossed it on his face. While he pried to removed the jacket that blinded him, She roll forward, grabbing the spear at the same time, and as she slide on her  knees, She turn around, take aim at the bot who managed to removed or rather ripped the jacket. 

"HEY!!!" which caught his  attention. 

"Eat THIS!" She shout as she throw the spear like a javelin directly at its blaster arm.

The spear soars through the air as quick and as fast as she can possibly throw it, putting every ounce of her strength into it. The Decepticon doesn't bother to dodge the feeble attack and takes it.... Right in the arm.

*BOOOM!*

In a massive blast of metal and fire, the spear lodged in the barrel of its arm cannon jams it, making whatever energy that was supposed to have formed to make the shot that was meant for her blow it's entire arm off instead. The force of the explosion breaks its entire arm from the shoulder down off completely into millions of pieces and sends it sprawling onto its back. 

She took off towards the downed Decepticon. It continues to twitch from being in such close proximity to an explosion but she manage to climb onto of it nonetheless. She stop just below the 'cons twitching head. She powered up her lightning as she take aim at the glass eyes in front of her. 

However, She didn't get to fire as a slight shadow looms over her. Looking back, it's remaining arm tries to reach for me. "No you don't!" Nova switch her aim towards the limb coming towards me.

Both energy discharge right at the things wrist, tearing apart wires and internal components, making it go limp and jerk away from her. "Argh!" Unfortunately, the lightning blast were pressed right up against it, fracturing the barrels and sending bits of metal in her face. Nova groan as she grab her face with her  free hand in pain. 

'Scrap that hurt!' She yell in my head. Looking past her fingers she see the bots still alive. With gritted teeth, Nova brought her fist (A/N Just to let you know she has super strength alright) and start bashing the glass eyes until they crack. Once it is completely broken, She brought out her right armblade. Slamming her foot into its face, She aim directly into the v-shape broken glass and slashed it deeply

Switching back her armblade as she brought out both her arms and let out a blast that have into the exposed internal components, sparks fly out from all over and back at her as each blast rips through its head deeper and deeper as each round hits generally the same area. The body under her twitches repeatedly as its life slowly gets snuffed out from under her.

That thought makes her stop from firing her last round. Her mouth slightly parts open as she stare at the sparking body under her.

His head twitches.

*Crash*

The sound of a hammer smashing on the face is even louder for some reason as it finishes the job, ending him... permanently. She breathed heavily as she unequipped her hammer. As the cloud cleared away, the light loomed over the technorganic, revealing Nova's demeanor face.

It's entire body goes slack and Nova was left the victor. However much that feels. With him no longer trying to kills her, her hands continue to shake as she slowly take a few steps back. Before Nova fall off, She turn around and as careful as she can manage right now, She slide off the corpse and hit the ground with a thud. Looking at the metallic body in front of her, the reality of her taking a life is starting to hit her with full force as Nova watch the blue energon liquid start to pool under him.

For sometime it didn't bother her, she stared back at what was left of her jacket which was ripped and burnt. Not that she can't used it anymore, the fact that her clothes were covered in dirt and rips, not to mentioned her face was dirty and her hair messy.  She was about to leave before looking over her shoulder, staring the three corpses. She brought out her hand as the energy sphere formed from her hand.

She said, with emotionless expression, "Don't even try to follow me." before tossing the energy sphere at the corpses from behind before it was blown up into pieces while Nova walked away from it.

Back to the Present

  After everything happened, her feelings has became empty and her eyes hollowed, suffering the loss of the base and her team. It felt like her heart is a complete mess.  And her bond connection with Optimus was completely severed, she could no longer feel him anymore. Becoz of that, She gave up hope in ending the war. As the truck stopped nearby a field, Nova got down from the vehicle before turning to the driver.

"Are you sure your going to be alright?" he questioned.

Nova said hollowed, "I'll be fine....beside I'm just going on a journey that's all."

"I see well, take care."

Nova thanked the driver as he left the road, leaving her behind. She continued  on her path as she became farther and farther into the woods. Nova didn't care anymore, all she cared is getting away from her problems. As she came to a stopped, she breathed tiredly from all that  walk. She punched the tree beside her and said, "My mind is a mess.....I don't even have any idea where I'm going. I don't know what to do anymore."

While her mind was roaming, she felt the surrounding beginning to freeze up suddenly. The atmosphere was changing, the air was becoming denser. Like a chemical reaction.

"Instead of facing your enemy, you ran away from it. How weak."

She looked up to see a man leaning on the tree with familiar face. "Silas....that can't be your...." Nova said surprised to see Silas in human form.

"Unfortunately, the real me was already gone right after OPtimus destroyed my body."

  "Then your not real at all.....your somekind of.....a hallucination." Nova said, standing her guard.   

"You might say that..... If I were real, I would have kill you." Silas taunted.

"What are you here for? Are you here to torment me or something?"

"if only you didn't rely on anyone, it would have made it much easier."

Nova glared at her archenemy as he continued, "I trained you to be an assassin, you were the perfect soldier. You were the strongest but the most unfocus, always distracted questioning everything. If only Dr. Login hadn't taught you to have feelings, none of this ever happened."

"If I didn't have a heart then I wouldn't understand any of it. You just used me as a tool, a weapon of your foolish ambitions. After everything I've done, I felt guilty about it so the only way to repent the crimes I did is to pay for what I've done."

"Yes through fighting.....and look what the messed you made. Face it, no matter how much you wanted to changed, you'll still be a killer in the end."

Nova's anger boiled to peak which made her snapped as she blasted the lightning at the illusion that was standing before her. But it just went through instead hitting the tree. Silas let out a evil chuckled and said, "Too bad.....I'm just the figment of your mind. You really are a disgrace, for an excuse of a former agent. Now everyone will see what you truly are." before Silas faded away to where he was standing.

Nova  was breathing heavily before sitting down on the log, placing her hand over her face, leaving one open eye. "I think I'm beginning to lose myself." she removed her hand from her face as she stared at the ground. Her eyes closed when her old memories began to resurface. She could hear voices of the targets and victims she had killed over the years. Plague by the nightmares she had, their scarred look would be forever planted in her mind

"Is this what it means to face your demons?" She said.

Nova was about to leave when she saw another shadow figure standing there. She called, "Hey whose there?" She watched the figure came out of the shadow, much to her horror. "No, it can't be....." Nova said, staggering back.

As the cloud cleared away, the light loomed over to the figure's face, revealing herself but different; she was wearing the Mech outfit that she used to wear when she became an assassin. Her expression shows no sign of emotion, only emptiness.

Nova felt like she was staring at her past self as she watched her shadow stalking towards her. "Only your heart is hollowed enough to be demons." her shadow said, halting her tracks.

  "How was that possible? You can't be here....." Nova said stunned.  

"I'm the figment of your past who was once known as Agent Reaper before you were renamed as Nova. I'm the embodiment of your darkest mind."

"No.....that can't be....I put that past behind me."

Agent Reaper didn't answered her instead she said, "Y'know Silas was right about us.....No matter how much we change, we're still a killer."  

  "That's not true! I'm not killer! I'll prove it!"  Nova said as charged at her shadow. However, her double did the same thing as well. Nova went for a punch, but her shadow dodged and went to do the same move on her, but Nova jumped over him and twisted her body before kicking her in the face. Her double bounced off the ground once before recovering and looking forward to see Nova already charging at her.

She front flipped toward him and when she got close, she brought down a leg to kick her but her double blocked her by raising both arms. She grabbed her leg and tossed her aside but Nova recovered as she landed on her feet, superhero style landing. She looked forward and saw she was going on the offensive. She went for a punch but Nova backflipped without getting a kick on her double. 

"How long will we keep on denying? How long will we keep on hiding? When will our suffering end?"

"Stop talking....." Nova snarled with hatred. 

"I just try to show you that but I understand."

Nova however lashed out and attacked her with lightning blast. "You don't understand anything about me!"

"No?!" She asked, dodging the blast. They continued fighting as she kept shouting back at her, "you don't know what it's like to be cast out?"

Nova however screamed back sending a more powerful one at her but clashing powers created a fog that made the atmosphere thick and unseen for a while. "To not be believed in!" NOva turned round as the shadow appeared behind her."To long for... freedom."

Nova wiped the sweat from her forehead as both circled around each other. "This world is filled with corruption, at first it is safe yet there's destruction." The shadow said.

Nova didn't listen as both of them lashed each other. The battle were so tensed that it almost destroyed half of the forest. Even though Nova has hallucination but it felt like she was real. 

"Despite from all this fight, you struggled so much that you wanted to end. If Ratchet hadn't bridged the children or helped Megatron cyber matter Earth, None of this ever happened. You had to involved in something that is big. No wonder your friends don't matter to you." Her shadow said.

Nova was taken back her words until her mind was so distracted that her shadow came in closed and did a spin kick which Nova blocked her with both her raised hand and was sent pushing back. Nova lowered her hand and said, "That's not true.....my friends believed in me, even the autobots. Beside, even that happens, I still protect them."

"Liar....your just saying that just to make yourself feel better. You don't care what happens to this world.....not even your friends." Her shadow said, pointing at her.

"That's not true." Nova charged as well.

"Liar! Deep down you do! Becoz I am you and that's how I know you!" Her shadow said as she lunged at her as NOva did the same. Both their fists meet each other before they were both pushed each other. 

"You don't care about anyone but yourself." Her shadow said. 

"That's not true!!!" Nova said, catching her arm and with a turn she flipped her shadow over and slammed her into the ground. Nova sat on top of her and equipped her armblade, planing to end her hallucination.

"Don't talk as if you know about me.....I did tried my best and I do cared about my friends. If only Megatron was destroyed, we would have won."

"You mean to say you blamed Megatron and the Decepticons for what they did."

"Yes?!"  Nova said angrily as she raised her arm, ready to bring down her shadow until she didn't expected what's coming next.

"If so.....Then why didn't you kill him?"

"What?"

Nova was taken back of that questioned as her shadow continued, "If you hated him so much then why didn't you killed him back there? Back in the cave, you would have given an opportunity to end this war......yet you spared him."

Nova didn't know what to comprehend what her double has just said. She could have.....she would have let Megatron be destroyed instead she spared him. Nova dropped her arm, unequipped her blade and her mind filled with questions and doubt. 

"I....I...." Nova said, not knowing what to say. The double said to her, "See, the one to blame is you since you didn't finish him the same way OPtimus didn't. Silas trained us to never missed our target."   Nova was too stunned by fear of her words that she didn't noticed her shadow placed her hand on the stomach. "Becoz of you, You gave up your revenge....the ones who took everything from us. It became our weakness that we will spend the rest of our lives fighting in this endless war."

"My revenge....No....I gave that up.....I"

"It's your feelings is what's holding you back.....these feelings is what makes you WEAK."

Nova was stung by her words as her shadow blast lightning....not like blue but red lightning. Which throw Nova farther then hit on the tree, she gasped in pain as she fell on the ground weakly. Before the sky became clouded and rain pouring down at her. Her shadow stood in front of her and looked down at her pitiful state.

"Aren't you tired? Wouldn't it be great to be free of this? The heavy burden you carried.....the responsibility......everything you fought for. Don't you wished this end?"

Nova didn't respond as her mind were messed up and her heart shattered by the truth.

"THen, if you wished to free yourself....Abandon the people you know and move on. Beside, no one is going to miss us."

Nova didn't move from her spot, realizing the conflict she had in her heart. Her shadow shake her head in disappointment, knowing that she is confused.

"It's ashamed, You and I both know that there is no hope in this world, the war is over......you failed everyone, even your duty,.......even OPtimus Prime. It would be better off if you cast your feelings away then everything would have been fine," Her shadow turned away from NOva who was on the ground and left her. "You truly are a coward." before disappearing into the darkness, leaving her in the rain.

She slowly heaved herself up while in a kneeling position, staring at the reflection of the puddle. "My friends didn't have anything to say. But my shadow.....she wanted to destroy me." Nova said with a broken voice. She curled her hand into a fist as tears slowly run down from her eyes. "Why do I have to suffered so much? I don't know anymore......I just want to disappear....."
