This got sappy real quick. Blame me for listening to 'The best thing that ever happened' from the AoE soundtrack on repeat. This was requested by Flamerise over on Quotev.

Scenario: After the war in China, the team splits up to get ready when the true battle comes and the reader decides to follow Drift since the reader has been with Drift (and Autobots) since Day 1. The reader has a major crush on Drift and goes over all of her memories with him in fear of possibly losing him. Drift notices the reader spacing out and decides to talk to the reader. The reader confesses to Drift and he returns their feelings telling them that they will always be together.

On top of the scenario and added in that the reader has a very short temper.

Universe: Bayverse (Post Age of Extinction Pre The Last Knight)

After the battle in China and with Lockdown, Optimus left us to find his creators, leaving the remaining autobot and Dinobots to look after me and the Yeager family as well as Shane. 

"So I guess, this is the end?" I asked as I looked away from sky towards Cade, Tessa and Shane. 

Cade pulled away from Tessa's hug and walked over to me. "I guess so. Though I expect to hear from you soon." He said with a smile.

I hadn't known the Yeager's for that long. They showed up with Optimus when we where hiding out in the middle of the desert. At the start we didn't exactly get along but a certain Samurai bot stopped me before I could do any harm.

Drift had always been able to control my short temper no mater what. The other bot thought it was weird how two opposite personality compliant each other so well. It was probably one of the man reasons I started to develop a major crush on the Decepticon turned Autobot.

"Don't worry. I'll keep in contact as much as I can." I said and pulled Cade into a quick hug before pulling away. I watched as the three of them hopped into a certain yellow and black Camaro and drove away.

All that was left was me, Drift, Crosshairs and Hound, along with all the guys with guns. "I guess we're on own." Hound said as he looked down at me and then to the other Bot's.

"I don't know about everyone else, but I need some quiet. It's been to loud recently." Crosshairs said and changed into his alt mode and drove away, kicking up a pile of dust.

I coughed and fanned away the dust. "Asshole." I mumbled as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Well, I should probably make sure he dosen't do anything stupid. See you around (Y/n)." Hound said and followed Crosshairs away from the wharf that we where standing on.

"We should head off as well. It's getting dark." Drift said behind me.

I turned around and gave him one of my rare smiles.

We drove down the road, my mind started to wander. We've been though a lot over the past few years. After being dragged into the war between the Autobot's and Decepticons because I was friends with Sam Witwicky and was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Then later on, I meet the ex 'con. I have to admit, Drift did annoy me a bit when we first met. It was hard to tell if he hated me or tolerated me as he would always say these haiku about staying calm. 

He also would ask everyone why I was angry all the time. Nothing he said would calm me down and made my temper more unbearable for everyone else. After a while I started to really listen to what he was saying.

They started to help and everyone was relieved but there was still that burning hatred towards the Samurai looking bot.

But after he saved me from a Decepticon that managed to find us, He started to grow on me until it turned into a full on crush.

At the point I truly noticed how amazing he was.

A smile appeared on my face thinking about it.

It soon disappeared when the thought of losing him came into my mind. At this point, if he disappeared I don't know how I would be able to survive. He was my rock. He was the only person to control my bursts of anger.

I don't know what I would do without Drift.

"What is wrong?" 

I jumped in my set when I herd Drifts voice come through the radio. "What?" I asked confused.

"You're crying." He said, concern clear in his voice.

I touched my cheek and sure enough it was wet. I whipped the tears away with my dusty sleeve of my hoodie before I finally spoke up. "I was just thinking. You don't have to worry."

"Would you like to talk about it? In situations such as these it is best to talk to someone about it." Drift asked as he pulled over to the side of the road.

I let out a sigh and slipped down in his leather seat. "I just..." I started and looked out the window to watch the sunset.

I was about to finished my sentence, but before I could everything started to shift around me. I soon found myself sitting in one of Drift's hands.

He lifted me up to his face plate. "You hardly cry." He said as he looked at me with his electric blue optics that glowed in the dim light.

I felt more tears well up in my eyes as I though about losing him. I lent forward, careful not to fall off and hugged his neck. "I can't lose you." I whispered, but I knew herd that. "I can't lose you Drift. I care for you to much." I said and pulled away.

Drift had a stund expression on his face, before it quickly changed and a smile appeared.

"So that has been on your mind." He said, his smile never disappearing.

I pulled my knees up to my chest and hugged them. "I care to much. To the point that I love you." I mumbled into my knees. I hoped that was the one thing his audio sensors wouldn't pick up, but it turns out he had.

I felt him stiffen before he poked my side. I looked up at him and sent a harsh glare his way. He didn't flinch, instead he had a look that I haven't seen on his face before.

"I was worried it was one sided." He said before he brought me up to his face plate and kissed the side of my face.

My eyes widened and my face started to heat up. I turned my head towards him, wide eyed before a small smile appeared.

"You should smile more. It suits you." He said quietly and I let out a small laugh. "Only if you promise we stay together, not matter what." I said as turned my whole body towards him and sat cross-legged on his hand.

"I promise. I will never leave you" He said and have me another kiss on the cheek.
