Abhi went inside while Aarush stood up seeing him. He stepped forward and hugged Abhi.

Aarush (breaking the hug): Ah, Abhi! How are you?

Abhi (whispering): I was fine, but now I'm not.

Aarush, who didn't hear him, looked at him all confused.

Aarush: Huh?

Abhi (looking at him): Ah, nothing! Have a seat.

He sat down while Aarush was also on the couch beside him.

Abhi: So, how is Vaishu?

Aarush (looked at him suddenly, confused): Huh? Who?

Abhi: I mean Vaishu's parents.

Aarush: Yeah! Yeah! Aunty and uncle are fine. 

Abhi shook his head, glaring him.

Abhi (controlling his anger): So, what bought you here at this hour?

Aarush: Bro, you were nowhere seen since the day you returned.

Aarush (confused): What is it?

Abhi (stern voice): I met Sidd in the U.S.A.

His voice echoed all around while Aarush looked at him in shock while Abhi smirked internally.

Aarush (in shock): Wait, are you serious? He ran away to the U.S.A.

Abhi nodded with anger in his eyes.

Abhi: You know, he married a girl there. She is a businesswoman.

He paused for a second as he noticed Aarush's expressions, which clearly showed that he wasn't expecting anything like this.

Abhi: Vaishu isn't with him, and you told that they both are intetested in each other. If it is, then why did Sidd marry another woman there while he doesn't know where Vaishu is.

Aarush dragged a tissue from the table and wiped his forehead. Yes, he was sweating. He didn't know that Abhi would go to such an extent. He dragged the glass of water and gulped it in one go while Abhi smirked, seeing his condition.

Aarush (adjusting himself, looking away): Abhi, the police officer, told me the same as he told you. It might not be true what you have seen in the U.S.A. You might be mistaken. Vaishu is with him only.

Abhi (suspicious): How are you so confirm?

Aarush was feeling his glares on him, which were sharp than a knife. He suddenly stood up.

Aarush (avoiding him): I must leave now.

Abhi (standing): But where are you going? I have many more things to discuss with you.

Aarush (in mind): He did not know everything. If he finds out everything, my game will be over, and I will never see Vaishu again, and I can't let this happen. What to do?

Abhi: Ah, no worries! If you find anything about Vaishu, do inform me.

Aarush (shaking his head, smiling): Sure! Sure! Why not! See you again!

He didn't wait for Abhi to continue the conversation and left from there in a rush while Abhi smirked, standing there.

Abhi (whispering): Now, it's final that you are behind all this. Your every act yelled your sin, Aarush. Now, I won't let you win this time.

He exhaled sharply as he looked at the door.

It was 2 o' clock of night in the U.S.A while Avu was standing on the terrace all lost in her thoughts. Sidd's every word echoed in her eyes, which made her restless. Today, his outburst disturbed her. She knew it was important for him to know about everything, but she could never see him hurt, and today, he was hurt badly. A tear fell from her eye as she pressed her lips against each other. Jai, who was looking at her for the last half an hour, decided to approach her. He walked towards her while she wiped her tears as she felt someone's presence. Jai went near her and looked at her with sad eyes.

Jai (keeping his hand on her shoulder): At least you can share with me, and you know that.

Avu (looked at him, tears filled her eyes): You don't know Jai how I felt today seeing Sidd like that. You can't imagine how badly he is hurt. He feels himself low just because of someone's blame.

Jai stepped near her, and side hugged her while she cried in her brother's embrace. He rubbed her arm softly.

Jai: Where is he now?

Avu (breaking the hug and wiping her tears): I gave him a painkiller and a sleeping pill. He is sleeping right now.

Jai nodded, not knowing what to say and whatnot.

Avu (cracky voice): You know he wasn't able to sleep. He just wanted to run away from everything.

Jai (chuckled sadly): I know di, it hurts you more than your beloved, who is in pain, but the main thing that hurts is that we can't even do something.

Avu (wiping her tears): What are you going here at this hour? Don't you have to go for an audition?

Jai (patting her shoulder): Don't worry about me. Just take care of yourself and Jiju. Hmm?

Avu nodded as she smiled.

Jai (holding her from shoulders): Now go and sleep. If Jiju wakes up and won't find you, he will be panicked.

Avu nodded, exhaling sharply.

Jai (with a proud smile): And one more thing, my di is a lioness, not a common girl.

Avu (chuckled humorously): Lioness also have heart, Jai.

Jai: A brave one who tears the ones who try to hurt her loved ones.

Avu (cold expressions): Don't worry about that. One day or the other, Mr. Abhishek will regret it, and the interesting thing is that I won't have to do anything.

Jai (patting her shoulder): I am so proud of you.

Avu smiled at him and left from there, calming herself, wiping her tears. She opened the door of her room to find Sidd sleeping there, unaware of his surroundings, in a deep slumber. She chuckled, seeing him sleeping like a teenage boy for whom sleep is more important than any other work. She slowly walked towards him and sat beside him, smiling at her. She looked at his hand, which was flying in air with his arm supported by the bed. She gently held his warm, large hands on her tiny cold hands. She slowly kissed his palm, keeping his hand near her heart. She glanced at him to find his expressions extremely cute at that point, but then her eyes filled up as his words echoed her ears. She slowly cupped his cheeks with her right hand and caressed his cheek.

Avu (whispering, crack voice): I wish I had known all this before. That day, at least I would have given him proof that you are innocent. You are not of such a loose character. You are not what he is thinking. I wish, I wish I could be there when all that happened to you. I wish I could have stood for you if I was there when he doubted you first, but you know, at a point, I am thankful to him. Due to him, you ran away, came to the U.S.A., and I met you. I met my most precious thing.

She leaned a bit forward to check his temperature and signed in relief as it was normal. He suddenly stirred in his sleep, which she found cute. She kissed his forehead, leaning forward, settled his hand so that it didn't fly in air and dragged the blanket, which had slipped down.

Avu (whispers): Have sweet dreams, sweetheart.

It was 12 of noon on Sunday in India, and the weather was pleasant all around with winds blowing while there was rigidity in Rao's property. Abhi was sitting on the couch, tapping his leg continuously and flinging his hands against each other continuously while Vaishu's parents were seated in front of him, and Sam was playing in Vaishu's room. Vaishu's parents glanced at each other before looking at him again while he was continuously finding words to speak.

Vaishu's mom: We are sorry for our behaviour. We were mad at that time.

Finally, Vaishu's mom decided to start the conversation. Abhi suddenly looked at her.

Abhi: No, Aunty, I shall be the one to be sorry after whatever I did with V-Vaishu.

His mother-in-law's eyes filled up as she looked away.

Vaishu's dad: She doesn't come home, dear. She comes once in a while, and we also don't know when she would come.

He lied as he didn't want their encounter.

Abhi (pleading, joining his hands, tears in his eyes): Please Uncle, I have learnt my mistake, and I want to mend it. Please, don't do like this and let me meet her once. I will die in guilt. I just want to talk to her for once. Just once, please! I promise I won't..........

"I'm home, mom!"

Her voice echoed all around as she opened the lock. Abhi's eyes filled with tears as he heard her voice while Vaishu's parents looked at each other in shock. Vaishu came inside and placed her bag and file on the table near the door. Till now, she hasn't noticed him sitting there. His back was facing her while she looked at her parents tucking her hair behind her ear. She rolled her eyes as she wondered if it was Aarush again, who came to insist her, force her, make her believe that he loves her which he doesn't because it isn't love but his obsession and stubbornness. She walked across him without looking at him in anger, but her feet froze as soon as she heard his voice from behind.

Abhi (standing up): Vaishu!

Her breath hitched as she heard her voice after ages. The voice which she loved most, the person whom this voice belongs to the most. A tear fell from her eyes as her past flashed infront of her eyes. His raised hand, his doubt on her character, on her soul. Was it all so easy to forget? Is it really very easy to forget such a tragedy?
