That's when. Avneet's phone rang. She frowned and dragged her phone out of her pocket. Her expression looked astonished as she saw the name of the person calling. Well, she didn't expect this number to call her. She frowned in confusion. 

Avu (in confusion): Why is she calling me?

In confusion, she picked up the call to hear the panicked voice of Vaishu.

Vaishu (in a panic): Hello? Hello? Is it Avneet there?

Avu (frowned): Yeah, If I am not wrong you are Sidd's sister-in-law Vaishnavi right? 

Vaishu signed in relief, taking a deep breath. 

Vaishu (calming herself): Yeah! 

Avu (stern voice): Why have you called me? 

Vaishu (hesitated): I, actually wanted to ask you something. 

Avu: Go ahead! 

Vaishu: Is Siddharth with you? 

Avu exhaled sharply before answering her. 

Avu: Yes! 

Vaishu (weak voice): How is he? 

Avu (chuckled humourlessly): On the one hand, you destroy him and on another hand, you want to know if he is fine or not. Are you bipolar or something? 

Vaishu (chuckled): I might be and I am made by Abhishek only. 

Avu dragged a chair and sat on it, curious to know something. 

Avu (humble): If I ask you something, would you tell me? 

Vaishu looked behind to see Sam playing in the lounge and a smile appeared on her face. 

Vaishu: I will surely.

Avu (eagerly): I have been knowing Siddharth's side story but I found it incomplete. If I ask you to complete it, will you? 

Vaishu (chuckling humourlessly): If that clears my image in front of you then why not? 

Avu: It might help. 

Vaishu paced near the window and told her everything in one breath as she also wanted someone to listen to her. Sometimes, one feels so lonely that they want someone to listen to them only, and Vaishu, being alone and fighting was also going through the same situation. Avu's eyes went wide in shock as Vaishu was telling her everything from the start. In between, she watched Sidd's points too which made a clear image in her eyes. She closed her eyes in anger as Vaishu sniffed, finishing her story. 

Avu (exhaling sharply): Why don't you tell him that you are alive? 

Vaishu (weak voice): So, that he can again come behind me and do everything again. You know I came to my parents' house 2 times whenever he did it with me. He came to me, apologized and he used to take me back but then it all started again. I was tired of it all. I wanted to live my life. I didn't have any other choice. 

Avu (politely): I understand, please don't cry. I didn't know all this. It's something I didn't expect. I am so sorry for considering you wrong. 

Vaishu (wiping her tears): No, it's fine! I know it was awkward. 

Avu: Well, I didn't find anything awkward in it. It happens in friends. Are we? 

Vaishu (smiled): Sure but when did we become friends? 

Avu: Now only.  

Vaishu (chuckling): Sure. I got to go. 

Avu: If you feel lonely anytime, you are free to call me. I don't have any issues. After all, we are friends. 

Vaishu (smiling): Sure, take care of yourself and also Sidd. 

Avu (smiling): Sure! 

Vaishu dropped the call and all of a sudden, her smile also fell into a dull face as she closed her eyes watching Sam playing there. 

Avu looked at her phone and rubbed her hands. That's when a maid came there. 

Maid: Ma'am, everything is ready. Should I call everyone? 

Avu nodded and the maid left from there.

Everyone was sitting at the dining table and for the first time, Sidd was having lunch with Nandras whereas Nandras were more than happy. They all were sitting, enjoying their food when suddenly Sidd spoke up. 

Sidd (facing Avu's dad): I am a very sorry uncle. I have been here at night and didn't even ask you if you were comfortable about it or not.

Avu's dad: It's fine, my dear. Perhaps, you weren't well and you are also doing to be the son-in-law of this house. 

Sidd smiled looking down while Avu's mom looked at her husband, signing him something. Jai was there enjoying the scene while Avneet was having her own food. 

Avu's mom: We were also deciding the date. 

Avu (looking at her mom, confusingly): Date for what, mom?

Avu's dad: date of your wedding, my dear!

Avu looked at her parents with eyes popping out of her sockets while Sidd's mouth stopped all of a sudden. He also looked up at them. 

Avu: Mom! It's so early! 

Avu's mom (struggling with her shoulders): What wrong I said, my dear! 

Avu's dad looked at Sidd to find him lost. He placed his hand on Sidd's and it dragged him out of his thoughts. Sidd snapped at Avu's dad. 

Avu's dad: I want to ask you. I have one daughter only and I want her to live with us only. We all want you also to live with us if you are comfortable. We would feel so glad if you would become a part of this family.

Sidd didn't know what to answer now. He thought for a second before looking at Avu's dad, who was already looking at him. Sidd smiled, nodding his head while Avu was shocked at this sudden decision. 

Sidd (keeping his hand over his): I have no objection to it. In fact, I am happy that I found a family. 

Avu's dad smiled at him while Jai stood up, jumping here and there. 

Jai (jumping): Yay! It's my sister's wedding. It's my sister's wedding. 

Avu made an annoyed face looking at Jai but then her attention diverted as her dad looked at her.  

Avu's dad: Avneet, do you have any objection to it? 

Avu: No, dad but don't you think it's too early? 

Sidd (holding her hand in his): Some things are meant to happen as early as possible. 

Avu (looking at her dad, smiling): If Sidd doesn't have any issue, then I also don't have any issue.

 Avu's dad: So, as everyone agreed. Why don't we fix Tuesday of next week? 

Avu's mom (excited): I don't have any issue. What do you guys say? 

Jai (dancing in excitement): Yay! My sister is getting married. Finally, she won't irritate me. 

Avu (grinding her teeth, showing a punch): Mom, ask him to shut up otherwise I will kill him. 

Jai (looking at her making faces): Aham, you got your life partner, my jijju. Now, you will kill only. What else can we expect? Now, all this love, care, and everything are for my Jijju only. 

Sidd looked down, blushing and pushing a spoon full of rice in his mouth. Avu's dad and mom chuckled. Avneet was pissed off by Jai.

Avu (pissed, whining like a kid): Mom, he is irritating me. Ask him to shut up otherwise I will spill his secret. 

Jai looked at her in shock while Avu smirked. 

Jai: Hey, you can't blackmail me like that.

Avu (dramatically, flipping her hair): Who said I can't? 

Sidd was sitting there, enjoying the whole scene and this reminded him how he used to trouble and tease his dada at his wedding time.

Avu's dad: Alright, you both can fight after dinner. The wedding is fixed for next Tuesday.

Avu held Sidd's hand behind the table. Sidd looked at her while she winked. Sidd shook his head at her crazy ethics and looked away, controlling his blush but then suddenly his smile faded away. 

Sidd (in mind): I wish you were also here dada with me but unfortunately, fate doesn't want it. I miss you. I am waiting for the day when you will get to know that you did all this in a misunderstanding. I wish to see you again soon but this time I will also prove you wrong. This hard time will pass away. Vaishu di is alive and you need to know this as soon as possible. 

He looked at everyone, who was busy planning the preparations and arranging while teasing each other. 

Sidd (in mind): I found a new family dada. How lucky I am, I have 2 families but unlucky too because my one family is broken. 

He closed his eyes, exhaling sharply. 

Sidd (in mind): I have to fix all this then no matter if dada takes my life too. I don't care but I won't be able to see Sameera, my cutie suffering in all this.

He dragged a glass of water and gulped it in one go.
