Avu (politely): Do you really wanna share it?

Sidd (sipping his juice): If I won't, it would suffocate me more, and maybe it can stop my heart from beat...

He was cut off by a hand. Yes, Avneet placed her hand on his lips with real anger flashing on her face. They looked into each other's eyes so deeply that they could read other's thoughts and souls. Well, I don't know about others, but Sidd won't be spared by Avu for saying that.

Avu (with angry glare and hand still on his lips): Never say it again. Never forget that you have me in your heart. The heart which belongs to me, and as long as I am in your heart, it can't stop beating.

Sidd didn't move a bit only but was just looking into her eyes. Avni removed her hand on his lips, still staring in his dark hazel orbs. It felt like time stopped. They weren't interested in anything but thenselves only. That's when Avu broke the eye contact and placed a plate in front of him. It had an egg, the bioled egg was well decorated.

Sidd smiled, looking at the decoration done by her.

Sidd (looking at her, smiling): This is so cute.

Avu: Just like you. Now finish it fast and then you have to sleep. You are already not well.

Sidd (in bored tone): I am fine.

Avu (glaring him): Yeah, I can see that.

Sidd looked away, not meeting her strong glares while Avu smiled at his expressions.

Avu (picking an egg and handing over to him): Now, finish it fast. I'll get changed.

Sidd nodded, pushing the egg in his mouth, making faces while Avu left to change her dress into nighty.

Sidd was sitting on the bed, lost somewhere. He wasn't sure if he really wanted to share everything or not. When he was getting his answer, yes, anyone fear was overcoming his mind. In short, he was in a huge dilemma. That's when Avneet knocked at the door and entered inside. Sidd, who was lost in his thoughts, looked up at her coming towards him. She held his hand, caressing it as she smiled.

Sidd: Avneet! Don't you think it's late. I-I must go now.

Avu (serious): But you aren't feeling well, Siddharth.

Sidd: I will take care of myself. I promise.

Avu shook her head.

Avu (in strict voice): You won't go anywhere. When I have asked you to stay, it means stay. Understood?

Sidd suddenly looked at her with a lost, sad smile.

Sidd (chuckling humourously): You know, my mom was also your Xero copy. She always used to scold me like this.

As he finished, a tear fell from his eye. Avu held his hands all of a sudden.

Avu (in low voice): Why are you punishing yourself, Sidd? Let it out. I am there for you. When you feel like falling, I will pick you up. When will you feel broken, I will heal you up. I promise.

Sidd looked at her for a second and dragged her hand gently, asking her to come on bed. She came to bed and sat in the middle of bed, leaning her back on headboard beside Sidd. He pushed his body a little down and placed his head on her lap, which made her shock to the core, but she quickly covered it up and started caressing his soft, fluffy hair. There was a complete silence for a minute or two.

Sidd (dripping the blanket): I was a brilliant student always obtaining A+ grades. After my inter, I applied in a university of the U.S.A. being insisted by mom. She always wanted both her sons to go abroad for study. As dada is 5 years elder than me, he returned India when I was in inter. After inter, I came to the U.S.A and completed my studies.

He paused for a moment, but Avu's fingers didn't pause for a single second. She was continuously ruffling and caressing his hair, listening to his each and every word as he continued.

Sidd (closing his eyes to stop tears): As soon as I came back, my mom wanted dada to get married as soon as possible. She found Vaishu di, and they both got married. I was close to dada at that time. Just after three months of their marriage, Bhabhi got pregnant, and we all started living a happy, perfect life

Sidd (cracky voice); Suddenly, mom died one day due to a heart attack, and that was the worst day of my life.

He stopped in between as tears weren't stopping from his eyes. Avu caressed his arm and held his hand by her other hand while one caressed his hair. She also had tears by now.

Sidd (cracky voice): That day changed everything, Avu. Dada, bhabhi were recovering from this loss for their baby, but I, I couldn't think that she really left me when I was in the stage to serve her, she went so early.

Sidd took deep breaths, controlling himself.

Sidd: I unknowingly started spending most of my time with Vaishu di. She started making me comfortable. In a short period of time, I got attacked to her. We used to cook together and do household together when Dada wasn't home. He wanted someone to stay with her, but he also had his newly set business to handle. So, I was with her, and I started taking care of her while she became close to me. She used to tell me her every problem. We both were like brothers and sisters, who are best friends too. Either way,it's an appointment from a doctor or anything. Most of the time, I used to go with her. At her delivery time also, as it was noon and dada wasn't home. It was me who went with her. Soon, we were gifted with a baby girl. Dada and I started taking good care of Vaishu di and Sam. But I don't know when Sam was 2 years old. dada's behaviour changed all of a sudden. He started suspecting me and Vaishu di. He used to be mad at Vaishu di and me whenever we were spotted together.

He suddenly stopped and looked up at Avu. She also looked at him as he gripped her hand all of a sudden.

Sidd (cracky voice): One day, they both fought with each other. To cheer her mood, I asked her to join me. At first, she denied it, but I don't know after sometimes she came to me saying that she wanted to go for ice cream. I also wanted Sam to join us, but she denied it. We didn't know when it was 6 of the evening. We are standing on the street when some robbers surrounded out car but Vaishu di wasn't scared at all. They placed a gun on her head and dragged her out of the car. I tried saving her, protecting her, but all went in vain.

Flashback

Vaishu was dragged out of the car with a gun pointed on her head. She didn't protest and just said some words.

Vaishu (acting scared): Sidd, don't worry about me. Just t-take care of Sam. Promise me, you will take care of Sam.

Sidd came out of the car when one roberer pointed a gun on him, and the man holding on Vaishu's head pulled out the trigger, ready to shoot her.

Sidd (scared): No, don't do anything to her. Please!

Vaishu closed her eyes in pain as his grip on her tighter. He started backing off along with Vaishu, and they took Vaishu along with them.

Flashback ends.

Sidd (cracky voice): from that day, dada considers me murderer. I tried many times to explain him but he never gave me a chance to explain. He calls me murderer.

He got up from her lap and held her hand on his tight grip.

Sidd (pleading): Avu, Avu you have talked with Vaishu di, right? Y-You know that she is alive, right? Please, tell dada. Please, tell him that she is not dead. Tell him that he is misunderstanding me please!

He pleaded in front of her. Avu, who already had tears in her eyes looked up to meet his hazel watery eyes. She couldn't help but just hugged him tightly as he sobbed on her shoulder.

Sidd (whimpering): Tell him that he is misunderstanding me. He thinks I have kidnapped her and she is with me. He also says as he haven't found her so I am the one responsible for it. Either I have murdered her or hide her from him. Please! Tell him, I haven't done anything wrong with her and I don't know where she is.

Avu closed her eyes, allowing more tears to fall from her eyes as she hugged him more tighter. No words were there with her to console him as he sobbed hard on her shoulder.
