She looked up to see him already staring at his brother standing in front of him. Avu looked at them confusingly.

Avu: Why are you guys looking at each other like this? Oh wait, let me introduce you. Mr. Abhishek, he is Siddharth,  my P.A. as well as my fiancè while Siddharth he is my new business partner, Mr. Abhishek.

Sidd didn't hear what she said because everything around him stopped the moment he saw his brother standing in front of him. He stumbled on his feet, and the gift box fell from his hand.

Abhi (in shock): You...

Sidd looked down, not knowing what to say. Abhi stepped closer to him with anger clear in his eyes.

Abhi (in anger): What are you doing here?

Sidd didn't dare to look up at his anger filled eyes. That's when Avneet interrupted in between.

Avu (coming between Abhi and Sidd, sacrastically): Excuse me! Can I know what is happening here?

Abhi (in anger): You should ask your P.A.

Avu turned behind to face Sidd while he was sweating by now. Avu examined his situation and decided to be polite so that they wouldn't become the centre of attention.

Avu: Tell me, Siddharth, do you know him?

Sidd (looking down, sobbing): H-He is my brother, Abhishek Nigam. The C.E.O of Nigam Empire.

That's when Avneet was dumbfounded. Her eyes widened as a flashback played in her mind.

Flashback

Sidd= My....My brother has his own company in India. He is a businessman and me...I have worked for him so, yeah I have experience.

Faisu: Ma'am, his brother's name is Abhishek Nigam, who is a businessman and owns his empire whose base was made by his late father and mother.

Abhi (sacrastically): Very well ma'am. Your financè hides many things from you.

Avu (composing herself, looking at him with anger in her eyes): I trust him.

Abhi (stepping towards Sidd): I will ask you for the first and the last time. If you didn't answer them then, today it will be your bad.

Sidd got scared and stepped behind, looking at him with fear in his eyes.

Abhi (in anger): Where is Vaishnavi? I know she is with you, and I want her to be here. Otherwise, you will see the worst of me.

Avu (again coming in between them, bold): If you remember, you are standing in a seminar arranged by our company only. It is advised to be in your limits.

Abhi (shouting in anger): I won't be in my limits because I have lost my wife because of him.

He said, yelling at Sidd, and that was enough for Sidd to control. He clenched his fist and shouted all of a sudden with tears flowing from his eyes.

Sidd (yelling): I haven't done anything. I haven't killed her.

His yell drew everyone's attention towards him. Everyone in the hall looked at them, gossiping to each other. Jai, who heard his yell, came a little forward.

Sidd (yelling): When I told you I don't know where Vaishu bhabhi is, then why are you repeating it again and again? I have told you that I haven't murdered her, nor I know where she is?

Abhi (yelling back): Do you think me fool? Don't I know what is happening and what is not. That police officer hasn't found her dead body, nor is he claiming something. What does it mean, huh? You were with her the whole time when all that happened. You allowed them to take her away. Why? Because they were your men. It was you, who did all this and it means she has been hiden, and no one can do this except you.

Sidd was just looking at him, emotionless. Everyone was already gossiping. Abhi faced everyone. Sidd closed his eyes, knowing what was going to happen next. He was already ready for the insult he was going to face.

Abhi (announcing): Ladies and gentlemen, this man had an affair with my wife....

Avu (cutting him, furious, yelling): Enough!

Avu jerked his hand, making him face her. She looked in his eyes dangerously.

Avu (low dangerous voice): I trust him more than you. I know he is hiding something from me, but I don't want to force him like you. I want him to feel comfortable around me, not like others, who accused him as a murderer. He can't even hurt anyone, then murder is far away from it. I very well know him from in and out. He can't do anything like that.

Abhi (dragging his phone out of his pocket): I am calling F.B.I. he should be arrested, and he will be.

Avu snatched his phone from his hand while Sidd felt dizzy all of a sudden.

Avu (looking at Abhi, dangerous voice): If you are threatening me, then go ahead. Call anyone, but no one can arrest him without any evidence.

Sidd couldn't understand what was happening with him as he was feeling dizzy. He turned and slowly went towards the elevator with his head paining.

Abhi (shooking his head): Alright! One day or the other, my hand will be on his neck, and that day, no one can stop me.

Abhi (announcing): Everyone is evidence here. The way he snatched everything from me. I will also snatch everything from him.

Saying this, he left from there. Avu looked down, calming herself, closing her eyes. She looked back but found no one there. She frowned and looked at Jai, who signed her. She ran from there, excusing herself while Jai looked around, apologizing for the inconvenience. Avneet ran towards the elevator and pressed the button, tugging her hair behind her ear while dragging her phone out of her pocket.

Avu (on tension): Siddharth, pick up the phone!

The elevator opened, and she rushed inside, pressing the button. She again dialled his number as the elevators door closed. She stepped out as the elevator reached the ground floor and looked around. She ran outside towards her car when she saw Sidd supporting himself by her car, trying to calm himself. He was breathing heavily, crying. His head was paining like hell.  She ran to him and cupped his face. She saw his eyes closed and tensed by his body movements.

Avu (patting his cheek, tensed): Siddharth, are you fine? Speak to me!

Sidd (sitting leaning on her car, crying with closed eyes): My head is paining a lot Avneet. P-Please help m-me please!

Avu placed her hand on his forehead and found his body temperature normal.

Avu (tension in her voice): Alright, have a look at me, Siddharth. Come, let me help you!

Saying this, she stood up and supported Sidd by his waist. He stood up by her help, and she opened the door, making him sit on the backseat. She dialled a number, and it was picked in a moment only.

Avu (sitting in car, in hurry): Jai, call the doctor and also handle this seminar. Sidd isn't well,I am taking him home. Manage everything.

Jai (worried): Ok di, take care!

Avneet turned back to find Sidd unconscious, mumbling something.

Sidd (mumbling): I haven't done anything. I-I don't know where she is.

He was repeating again and again. Avneet calmed herself and drove as fast as possible. Don't know about others, but this seminar will be memorable for this couple as it will disclose many unfolded secrets and truths. Now, it was compulsory for Avneet to know the truth, and also about Vaishnavi Rao. She was determined now but worried too for Sidd. She can't afford to lose him after so much distances.
