ringo rarely surfaced up. and when he did, he cherished the little moments like the fact that the warm sun felt on his pale skin and the view, oh the view. the view up there was so much different than corals, fishes and blue waters. the surface had many colors.

ringo would never tire of watching the skies turn from bright blue to orange and pink down to dark, dark blue with the twinkling lights that scattered all around the night sky.

today was different from others. because ringo saw something, someone.

he had tanned skin, very different from pale and blue. he was skinny but looked healthy. looked rich, rather, with his fine clothes. he had thick hair with bangs covering his eyes as he slept on a rock (that made ringo wonder if he was even bothered by how hot it was). he had sharp cheekbones and soft-looking pink lips, thick eyebrows that rested atop his cheeks.

ringo ducked as he watched the sun person turn to the side. he mumbled something incoherent, making ringo bite his lip, stifling a giggle. he was silly and cute at the same time.

"prince george!"

ringo turned and saw someone wearing fancy clothes and a sword at his side. fear of being caught shot through him and he dove back in the water.

prince george. ringo's heart hammered. a prince! i saw a sun prince! oh! if john'll know he'll kill me!

george sat up at the sound of a splash nearby. he looked, squinting his eyes. the water waved. something was surely there.

"must've just been a fish," he muttered, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"prince george!"

the sun was already setting down, orange melting down the blue sea.

shit, george panicked, how long was i asleep?

dusting the sand from his breeches, he stood up and walked the familiar path that lead up to the palace. out of instinct, he looked back where the splash came from.

"prince geo---"

"i'm coming!" he snapped, hating the fact that he was going back to the palace.

he was going to miss the beach.

walking up, he took another glance at the sea.

just a fish, he reassured himself before trudging on to the palace.
