Amethyst's P.O.V

"What if we just skip school today?" Max suggests.

"Mom and Dad would kill us if we did that Max."

"Oh come on! They'll never find out! This will be a good chance to explore." He says.

"Yeah, I'm going to class. See ya!" Leigha says and heads towards the school.

"Look, Max, You know what happened when the school found out that Tanner skipped school for 2 weeks, and I don't want to risk getting expelled-"

"I'll do it." CJ interrupts.

"CJ! What if one of the others catch us! We can't do that!" I exclaim.

"Like Max said, no one will find out." CJ shrugs. I glance over at the school then back at the two boys and sigh.

"Fine.  But if we get caught, you're doing the explaining." I say sternly at Max.

"Don't worry, we won't get caught." He smiles. I roll my eyes.

"Whatever, let's go."

====== Time Skip ======

"This tree looks amazing! I'm going to climb it!" Max exclaims.

"Woah. Don't climb me just yet." The tree says. Uh. Max jumps back in surprise.

"D-did you j-just t-talk?" CJ stutters.

"Yes I did. I'm sorry I scared you. What are your names? I'm Tree." Tree introduces.

"I'm Max. These two are CJ and Amethyst. Our other cousin, who is at school right now, is Leigha." Max explains. 

"Shouldn't you 3 be there too?" Tree asks.

"Yes but these two idiots convinced me to skip." I sigh.

"It gives us a go-"

"Hey! There you guys are!" Someone exclaims. We turn around and see Leigha.

"I thought you were in class." Max says.

"Ms. Smith asked me to go find you guys. Our parents already know what happened." Leigha explains. Oh no.

"Max! I told you we would get caught!" 

"Sorry. I didn't know." Max shrugs. I just glare at him with pure anger. You see, when we get in trouble, mom and dad always have Jason deal with us. He might be the nicest person, but make him mad, run.

"Come on. I guess we have to go. See ya later Tree!" CJ says.

"Bye kids. Visit anytime." Tree says. 

"Umm ok? Let's go." Leigha says and leads us back to the school.

Wow, I finally got motivated to write. That's a miracle! Next chapter will more than likely be short because I chopped this chapter in half, so...
