Top 5 Forgotten Disney Shows

With an over 35 year history Disney Channel has made hundreds of TV shows and thousands of Episodes of Said Shows.

We tend to remember the more memorable shows like Kim Possible, Ducktales, Lizzie McGuire, Phineas and Ferb, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, American Dragon Jake Long, Etc.

Wow, didn't include GF anywhere, are you okay?

I watch more shows than Gravity Falls you know!

But when you have over 30 years worth of programs some get over looked or swept under the rug.

And that's what I'm counting down!

These are my Picks for the Top 5 Forgotten Disney Shows!

Isn't this usually rewrite's thing?

Yes but she usually does movies, rides, and Shows that weren't picked up. But there's a possibility she talked about this type of thing before. I don't know!

Also I'm mixing it up, both animated and live action shows are on this list, and shows that are either bad or good will be on here.

5) I didn't do It:

Oops wrong video!

This was an interesting concept, well for the first season that is this:

The series follows brother-sister twins, Lindy and Logan Watson, and their three best friends, Jasmine, Garrett, and Delia, as they begin their freshman year of high school at Ditka High, despite the fact some of the cast were old enough to both Drive and Vote by the time this show came out.

Each episode in the first season began with a comedic "what just happened" situation followed by the story being told in flashbacks, it was pretty interesting concept.

But unfortunately, this concept was abandoned in the second and final season, and it turned into your basic Disney Channel Sitcom with a possibly prerecorded, "Live Studio Audience."

Now this is where it gets scary. This show had it's final episode 3 years ago......I repeat, 3 YEARS AGO!

I kid you not 3 years later no one talks about it, and Disney Channel doesn't air the Reruns of it like Jessie or Lab Rats.

Now I don't know what 60% of the cast are up to, by my guess some Crap for Awesomeness TV, but Sarah Gillman, who played Delia, played Velma in the 2018 Direct to Video movie Daphne and Velma, which is a Direct to DVD Live Action Scooby Doo movie without the guys or the dog, and Olivia Holt, who played Lindy, Currently Stars in the Marvel Series Cloak and Dagger, which airs on Freeform in America, and I have no idea the rest of the world, sorry didn't have time to look it up.

4) Dave the Barbarian:

When looking at this all I see is if Johnny Bravo weren't looking at girls and were the worlds worst Conan the Barbarian Ripoff. Like this feels like a Parody of He-Man, except in this He-Man is scared of everything!

The show premiered on January 23rd, 2004, and had its Final Episode almost one year later on January 22nd, 2005. And had mostly middle if the night reruns from 2005 to 2009.

Middle of the Night Reruns?

Okay I'll explain, you know how Cartoon Network has [adultswim] and Nickelodeon has Nick@Nite?

Yeah?

Disney Channel doesn't, they used to back in the late-90's/early-2000's called Vault Disney, where they aired old movies and specials such as the opening of Dinseyland or Epcot, but that has since been cancelled.

So for the time between whenever the Nightly Movie ended and Playhouse Disney Began, they just aired reruns of old Shows like this, why? To fill up a Time Slot I guess, plus who in their right mind watches Disney Channel at 3 in the morning?

3) Brandy and Mr. Whiskers:

Look the idea of two opposites being friends, or acquaintances, in a TV show is not a new concept, but this was a pretty weird one, a Spoiled Dog from Florida named Bandy Harrington of the Florida Harringtons, and must be refered to as Such apparently, and This Party Rabbit named Mr. Whiskers who was supposed to go to a zoo a Paraguay, but then they get sucked out of an Airplane because Mr. Whiskers is an Idiot.

Now I remember hating this show because both characters were so annoying, and this came out when I was 7, an age where liking Annoying Characters were normal, but boy did they screw up on this one.

Mr. Whiskers was so stupid and needs to stop drinking Coffee, Mountain Dew, and Red Bull at the same time, and Brandy, well, she was such a spoiled brat! Look its okay to spoil a pet once in a while but when she acts like one of those Rich girls who would kick a Hobo in the face instead of Giving that guy a dollar and one if those free Job Listings Newspapers you find outside of Chinese Restaurants.

Wha?

I don't know, I can't stand Brandy like at all. I am not one for animal cruelty, even though ironically I still eat Chicken, Steak, Bacon, and Fish but that's because Vegan Food makes me sick, litterally, but I would use a choke collar on this Bitch.....no pun intended.

Also, for any Big Bang Theory Fans out there, you may know this, Brandy was played by Kaley Cuoco, who we know better as Penny from the show.

2) Lloyd in Space:

That's right in going into Disney's One Saturday Morning on ABC territory for this one.

Lloyd in Space is slice of life cartoon but with a Twist, it's IN SPACE!

I'm never gonna get tired of using that clip!

This show was made by the same guys who made the show Recess. It was a weird show from what I remember of it. I would continue on but I barely remember this show so, lets move on.

Honorable Mention:

There will be no Honorable Mentions today as I will cover this again next time.

1) Marsupilami:

My words exactly Krusty!

I Litterally bever heard of this show until a few weeks ago.

And yes this is a Disney Show, but not a Disney Character.

Now I had to do a little research and apparently Marsupilami is Actually a Belgian Comic Character.

Disney made this show in the Early 90's and aired on CBS in the US. It was originally part of a Short Series called, "Raw Toonage," which was basically Disney's version of Oh Yeah! Cartoons.

Anyway if you saw the video, you can tell what the show was about just by looking at it.

Now I later found out more shows involving the Marsupilami character were made but not with Disney. One of the Latter Shows was made by French Animation Company, Marathon Media, which is best known for the show Totally Spies.

The show was an odd. And the Disney Produced Series only aired for 1 season. And since Disney doesn't own the character, don't expect them to reboot this show anytime in the next few years.

And from what I read this show wasn't faithful to the comic books it was based on since they added characters, changed the location from South America to Africa, and made the Character Talk, while in the comics all he says is, "Houba, Houba."

Is there any I missed, If so leave it in the comments and maybe I'll mention it the next time I do this.

See you guys next time!
