Top 5 Disney Movies to Turn into Disney Park Attractions (w/ Rewrite)

(I posted this a day early for a reason, but you will have to wait until the end to know why, BEGIN!)

Disney is known for taking their best movies, and turning them into immersive experiences. And since Disney has been cranking Hit after hit since 2005 after Michael Eisner left, good riddance, they have plenty of movies to turn into immersive experience with their Theme Parks.

So today we are counting down the Top 5 Disney Movies to Turn into Disney Parks Attractions.

And to help me on this list I brought along a special guest. Care to introduce yourself?

*Sneezes* Gosh this so weird is everywhere! How does Cinderella handle this? *Looks* Oh. Was I supposed to do something today?
*clears throat and speaks like the worm from Labyrinth* 'Allo! It is I, your Hairy Dogfather! I mean, rewrite Rose Plot Twister!

As usual I take over 5 and 3, the guest gets 4 and 2, and we share 1, and throughout all we give our brief opinion on why in each.

Note: We are talking about Movies that have yet become Rides, for example, Star Wars, because of Galaxy Edge opening in 2 years, and Marvel, because we got 2 minilands coming, one in Hong Kong and another in Disney California Adventure, also that Guardians of the Galaxy Roller Coaster coming to Epcot, which as cool as that sounds it sounds like it is being put in the wrong park.

What about the other famous attractions that where replaced by other famous movies like the Swiss Family Treehouse that was replaced by Tarzan's Treehouse? What about those attractions?

Getting ahead of myself, huh? Sorry about that.

No need to be sorry! But yeah lets exclude those as well.

We will include rides that already rumored to be getting an attraction, which is a good segway for....

5) COCO (Mexico Pavillion at EPCOT):

That's right I'm talking about the Pixar's biggest film of 2017. Now the film is based around the Mexican heritage, which if you know Pixar they learn while making their movies, a ride based off this attraction will for perfectly in the Mexico Pavillion in EPCOT, right now since the film is a smash hit at the Box Office, being up there with last year's Moana, I can safely say, "Coco: The Ride," will surely be coming to The Mexico Pavillion replacing that ride with the three Caballeros soon.

Oooo totally fits well with EPCOT since Frozen *cough cough* replaced "Maelstrom."

And since we are speaking about popular movies...

4) BIG HERO 6 (Tokyo Disneyland/Hong Kong Disneyland)

Disney's 54th animated feature film already has its own Disney Channel show but not a Ride? Big Hero 6 is a ideal movie to be adapted into a theme park attraction. It features an Asian lead that is a perfect attraction at either Tokyo Disneyland or Hong Kong Disneyland. It's a possibility.

Well there is already a Big Hero 6 Attraction coming to Tokyo Disneyland, but all I can tell from concept art it looks like Mater's junkyard Jamboree at DCA or that Little Green Alien ride coming to Toy Story Land Next year in Disney's Hollywood Studios, but I do see it in Hong Kong, heck even Shanghai could work.

3) Wreck-It Ralph (Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom/Disneyland):

We really don't have a lot of rides dedicated to Video Games, domestically because there is a Sonic the Hedgehog ride in the UK, and since Disney doesn't own any iconic video games...yet, excluding Kingdom Hearts, I think the best contender for this is Wreck-It Ralph, mainly because it is the only good Video Game movie in existence, and yes I checked. Plus the first movie was a smash hit, and I'm kinda surprised Disney has yet to make a ride based on this movie, heck I heard rumors saying it was going to replace the Stitch's Great Escape Attraction in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom with some VR setup, but that is kind of impractical because, everyone has a different shaped head. I was thinking more along the lines of a Motion Simulator like Star Tours or that Iron Man Ride in Hong Kong Disneyland, wear you board one of those Escape pods from Hero's Duty and go through the Video Games from the movie.

If Disney could do A Toy Story Theme Ride then Wreck-it Ralph should happen like....

2) The Emperor's New Groove (Animal Kingdom)

How come this fantastic, fan favorite movie doesn't have a ride or Water Park of it's own? I would totally love to see Kuzcotopia as a water ride, or even Yzma's secret lab entrance as a coaster. The possibilities are endless as could be a possible ride at Magic Kingdom or better yet Animal Kingdom.

I am pretty shocked that Disney never made a ride based off this movie, then again it is one of the more obscure Disney movies of the 2000's. But Disney has been making attractions off of their cult followed films, heck we're getting a Roller Coaster based off Tron in the Magic Kingdom.

And now our number 1 pick is.......

1) Princess and The Frog (Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom)

I think it would be best for my Guest host to start off this one.

Gladly. Who wouldn't love a dark boat ride through New Orleans with jazz music playing while smelling gumbo. Or travel through time, the roaring 20's. Or Escaping the clutches of the Shadow Man as he tries to turn the people into frogs. The possibilities are endless and even though The Princess and the Frog has a restaurant theme in the Cruise lines, that doesn't count as a Ride at the Disney Parks.

I honestly don't consider the Disney Cruise Line a Disney Park, then again I honestly don't care for the Cruise Line anyway, mainly because I think the parks are better. But I think as well as what Rewrite just mentioned, I think instead if the typical gift shop like most rides at Disney has, there shouod be a restaurant, like taken directly from the movie. Sorta like how they do it with the Ratatouille ride at Disneyland Paris, and a 50/50 chance we get it in EPCOT when it comes to our side of the pond in a few years.

I wanna thank rewrite for helping me out on this top 5.

Gimme those napkins, quick. I swear I'm sweating like a sinner in church! All in all, thank you Xander, I really love having the tables turn on me since I feature people in my books too. This was tons of fun, going through history and giving my opinion of what movie should have a Ride. Thank you again.

No problem, hey, maybe someday we can do one in one of your books?

*Gasp* You can read my mind!?

What am I thinking?

Uh, shh, ooh, uh, I think my brain hurts. *Falls Down* I'm Okay! *Gets up* Anyway I can't read your mind now! But what was it?

Haha, It didn't matter, I was testing you.

*Eye Roll* Well I will see you guys after Christmas for my next Top 5! If you want to see more of my cohost, go check out her books on Forgotten Disney!

Also in other news Disney has now purchased a majority of 21st Century Fox, which includes X-Men and Fantastic Four, so, Prepare the MCU to go XL!
