Paul left us and I felt uncomfortable around Dereck. 

"So tell me, why did you sign up for this?" He ask and I had to think of something fast.

"I sign up for this because I wanted to find out if you're the guy that I'm going to love for the rest of my life." I rep-LIED of course.

"Oh is that so? We'll find out."

"Hmmm? What do you mean?"

"Well the other girls signed up to be my girlfriend because I'm rich and all they wanted from me is money."

"Well I'm a different girl from your previous girlfriend." Man, this is not going well.

"Okay, if you say so. What do you want to eat?" He ask and I looked at the menu.

I glance from Feitan and some girls were around him. I felt my chest tightening. Am I getting jealous? Well Dereck is cute and attractive but not as attractive than Feitan.

Dereck's POV

"I just want soup and water." She replied.

Hmmm, this girl is different. My previous girlfriend would order the most expensive foods and other specials in the menu. I guess this might be the girl that I might marry one day.

After we ate, I hold her hand and we went for a walk. Her hand is so soft and she was so pretty. I'm glad that she signed up for this. I'm going to find out about her as soon as possible.

"So, what's your favourite colour?" I ask starting a conversation.

"Hmmm, I would say yellow." She replied and I widened my eyes.

"You're the first."

"What do you mean?"

"From my previous girlfriends, all they said was pink, blue, purple, white and green. You're the first girl who's favourite colour was yellow."

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" She ask looking into my eyes, making me laugh.

I like her, Mariall. 

"It's a good thing. Everything about you is good." I said stopping on my track, and she did as well.

"I like you." I said and she smiled.

Mariall's POV

"I like you." He said and I force out a smile.

Man, why did I sigh up for this? 

"I don't like you." I said my thought out loud.

I was shock and widened my eyes. Dereck raised an eyebrow then he smiled.

"Well I will make you like me." He said and I was relief.

"Let's see about that." I smirk then he let go of my hand then wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

His face then started coming closer and closer, causing me to panick. I press the emergency button in my small pouch that was attach around my waist. Only Mikey and James would know about it.

With my rescue, I heard Mikey and James barking, causing Dereck to pull back. I sigh in relief and looked at the two dog. Then out of nowhere, people with a black ninja outfit came out with a sword, surrounding Mikey and James. They were about to attack the two dogs but I stopped them.

"WAIT! NO!" I yelled and they all look at me.

"What do you think you're doing?" I ask pushing in the crowds and crouching down the two dogs.

Soon Dereck entered as well.

"You know these two dogs?" He ask.

"No I don't, but why are they attacking them? Who are these people?!" I exclaimed.

Dereck motioned for all of them to back away and which they did.

"They are my guards. If someone tries to atrack me, they'll come out and eliminate the person who tried to attack me."

"But they're animals. They didn't even try to attack you!"

"They barked at me."

"Pff, just bark?! What kind of a person are you?!"

"Are you choosing the animals over to me?!" His voice raised up.

I stood up and glared at him.

"You know what? Maybe I will." I said and he widened his eyes.

"I won't let you go." He growled and I rolled my eyes.

"Then don't hurt these two innocent dogs." I whimpered and he sigh.

"Fine, you can keep them as long as they won't make a noise. And for you." He said then I run into him, hugging him from the neck. 

"Thank you." I whispered in his ears.

I saw a glimpse of Feitan from the corner of my eye. He was... jealous? I don't know, he disappeared immediately as soon as I saw him. Why would he be jealous? Hmmm, maybe just your imagination Mariall.

I pulled away and looked at him in the eye. He look back at my eyes.

"I like you." He said.

I also like him, but only as a friend. No more than a friend. The person that I really like is Feitan. Although I'm not sure if he likes me back. I mean, a guy like him deserves a better girl, and that girl is not me. I just wish it's me.

"I might like you back." I manage to say and he frowned. 

"Then I will do my best to make you fall in love with me." He was getting closer again and I stepped backwards, giving him a pain on his eyes.

"One day." He mumbled.

After that, a limousine came and we both went on it, including Mikey and James, but I pretended that I don't know them, then it stop to a big house, that looked like a castle. My mouth formed an 'O' as I examine the place.
