Goodbye Gaster

Sans grins maliciously. He knows exactly how to trick Flowey into attacking. He shows Flowey the soul.

"Where'd you get a human soul?" Flowey questions.

"Don't fell like explaining," Sans replies.

"Give me the soul Sans."

"Nah, don't fell like it."

"Sans, please, with seven souls, I can be whole again. Do it for Frisk."

"I'd believe you, if you already had a soul, but you don't. If you want this soul, you'll have to take it from my pile of dust."

Flowey attacks, triggering a FIGHT. Sans douges. "I'm don't fell like dragging this out," Sans explains, "so let's end this quickly." Sans surrounds Flowey with bones."goodbye," he smirks.

Where Flowey once was, is just a pile of yellow pedals. Sans knows everyone will believe him that Flowey was the aggressor. He goes to tell Frisk the great news. He takes a shortcut. Frisk is on the front porch. "Great news Frisk," Sans explains, "I solved our little problem."

"How?" Frisk asks.

Sans grins, he now knows how good it fells to kill someone who deserves it, and he almost wants to do it again. "I killed Flowey," Sans explains, "everyone will think I was defending myself. I'll just say, 'when I killed Flowey my LOVE increased' everything is fine."

"You killed Asreil?" Frisk demands, "damn it Sans! I was trying to help him!"

"Cmon kid, he was to far gone."

"No, fuck you Sans. Just leave."

"Jesus kid, you're acting like Chara."

"Who?"

"No one important. Just remember, if your LOVE ever increases past ten, reset immediately."

"Yeah, whatever. Just leave Sans."

Sans takes a shortcut to his house, not his new house, his old house in the underground.

He sits on the couch, and remembers Frisk's first run. They were afraid, so they trusted Chara. Sans finally managed to stop them, and Frisk completely forgot Chara. They did things right their next time, and didn't kill anyone.

Sans had stayed in the old house whilst Papayrus moved to the surface. They were still close as ever, but Papayrus was sick of Sans's messiness, and wanted his own place.

Sans grabs a bottle of ketchup from the fridge. He goes to his room and grabs the key to his lab. He goes in and grabs the photo album. In it, photos of Gaster and Chara, before they died.

Gaster was experimenting with DETERMINATION before the accident. Chara was like a child to Gaster before Sans and Papayrus were born. Gaster had used DETERMINATION to live extremely long, and would take any children that fell and steal their DETERMINATION. However, with Chara, Asreil got in the way.

Gaster tried to befreind Chara to trick them out of their DETERMINATION, but Gaster grew attached. He began to melt... But he refused. He didn't want to worry Chara.

Eventchuly, Chara died. Gaster began to melt. It was slow, painful. Subtle at first, at least long enough for Sans and Papayrus to be born, but as time went on, Sans began to notice his father's pain, and when Sans was at age eight, Gaster was a pile of sludge who sought only  death.

He asked Sans to throw him into the core, the only thing that could kill him at this point. Sans couldn't do it. Sans began to cry, worried about his father after losing his mother last year. Gaster told him to forget about it. That night, Gaster told Grilby to protect Sans and Papayrus, worked his way to the core, and jumped.

Sans pushes aside these painful memories, and closes the photo album. Papayrus doesn't know about any of it, and believes Gaster just moved away. He was never told the dark truth. Sans examines his machine. He puts the soul in.

"Cmon," he mumbles to himself, "there's gotta be enough."

The DETERMINATION of the soul begins to power the device. Gaster begins to form, but the device fails, and Gaster disappears.

"Damn it!" Sans yells, "I need more!" His phone goes off with an Amber Alert. Apparently there's a killer on the loose. A human. Sans's eye begins to glow blue. He grins maliciously. He takes hit ketchup bottle and takes a shortcut to the surface...
