It was a Saturday evening in New York City. Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey were told to stay home for the evening to continue training instead of patrolling that night. The training session was surprisingly short, so they spent the rest of the evening relaxing and taking the night off for a change. Raph was in the dojo working out while Mikey was too distracted in his new video game. Donnie started working on some projects in his lab. And for Leo, he already finished watching the whole series of Space Heroes. Now that his favorite show was over, he had nothing else to do but think about his best friend Brianna.

'Hmm... I wonder what Brianna's doing at the moment?' he thought to himself.

So he decided to go see how she was doing. In all honesty, he just really wanted to see her. Since it was a Saturday night he thought she wouldn't mind the visit. As soon as it started to get dark, he got out of the sewer and hopped from rooftop to rooftop until he finally reached his destination. Leo quietly knocked on the window to see that Brianna was busy with another special art project. Leo noticed that Brianna was looking tired.

Brianna was tired because she had a lot of art that needs to be done for a special event. She heard her window to see Leo in front of it. She got up from her art desk and came to the window to open it.

"Hey Leo, come on in." she said as she yawned. Leo was worried for a second about her parents; he was worried if they had heard that. But Brianna noticed the worry on his face and said,

"Oh, don't worry about my parents Leo, they're in Pennsylvania and they won't come back until next weekend, so it's just me here." Leo was relaxed and blushed a bit.

"So why you by yourself today? And where are the others?" she finally asked.

Leo was still blushing at this point and almost completely forgot why he came. He stammered a bit, but finally said,

"Oh, well... I just had some free time and everyone else was kinda busy... so... I thought I'd stop by."

Brianna smiled and said,

"Ok then. Well, actually I'm kinda glad you're here! My parents bought me some movies that I liked, do ya wanna sleepover and watch a movie or 2 with me?"

You can imagine at this point that Leo was just blushing red and so excited that he'll be spending time with Brianna alone, and watching a movie or 2 together. He also knew that Master Splinter won't need him late tonight. Not to mention the fact that she asked him to sleep over! Leo had to say something. So, not to sound too excited or strange he just smiled and said,

"I would most definitely love to." Brianna smiled and her chocolate brown eyes sparkled into the moonlight.

"Great! I'll go make the popcorn!" said Brianna happily. Leo just couldn't help but blush and smile at her joy! Oh how amazing this is? He was so glad he decided to come over today!

Brianna handed Leo some of the movies while she walked her way towards the kitchen to make popcorn for the 2 of them.

"Do you like butter or caramel? I only have 1 large bowl for the popcorn." She called to him from across the kitchen.

"Which ever one you like." he called back from the living room. Leo was messing around with the TV and DVD player to get the movie started.

"Which movie do you want to put on 1st?" he asked Brianna while she was waiting for the microwavable popcorn to finish.

"Hmm... How about Peter Pan Live? I loved it so much, I wanted to see it again. I love Allison Williams, she's a great actress." Brianna answered as she was trying to reach for the largest popcorn bowl.

Why on Earth did her dad have to be so much taller than her? Brianna couldn't reach it and she didn't want to ruin her moms' special chairs to stand on. So she figured out that, she should make Leo useful and help her out. And also because he's taller than her.

"Hey Leo, could you come here and help me for a second?" Brianna asked as she was trying to reach the bowl. Leo stopped on what he was doing and went over to her.

"What's up?" he asked.

"The bowl, that's what's up. I can't seem to reach it. Can you get it for me please?" Leo gave her a flashing grin.

"Sure Brianna." Leo said as he reached above her to get the bowl. The bowl was on the very top cabinet directly above the microwave where Brianna was standing by. As he was reaching for the bowl, Brianna noticed that she was pinned between the countertop and Leo's plastron. Being so close to him like this made her unwillingly blush.

Although it was only for a second when he reached up for the bowl, it felt like time froze for a moment. Leo honestly didn't notice they were so close, but when he did finally noticed the situation, he stepped back awkwardly and quickly scratching the back of his head with a nervous grin.

"Here's the popcorn bowl Brianna." Leo said as he blushed.

"Thanks Leo." she answered with a smile and a slight blush on her face. It was such a tiny kitchen that they kept nervously bumping into 1 another constantly apologizing.

They sat down together to watch Peter Pan Live on the big living room couch. Although the couch was big, they sat closely together sharing one big bowl of caramalized popcorn.

'Man... Brianna's right... This is a great movie.' Leo thought while watching the movie, Leo couldn't help but also pay his attention to Brianna. She was sitting there enjoying the movie with her friend. Leo wondered if he should try the yawn-and-stretch-his-arm-around-her-shoulder thing. He did it and Brianna sighed sweetly. He was about to grab the popcorn, but his hand touched something else. He looked down to see that his hand was on Brianna's hand. He took his hand away and Brianna blushed a little red.

This was really awkward and embarrassing for Leo. This was the 1st time he had ever spent an evening with a girl to watch a movie together. So he decided not to talk or do anything else.

*3 hours later...*

The movie was over and Leo didn't notice that Brianna was fast asleep on his shoulder. He was blushing so much, he didn't know what to do. He was thinking of wheather taking her to her bed or just sit there with her sleeping on his shoulder. He felt her skin that was so soft and warm. Leo can feel his cheeks turning red and his heart was beating too fast.

'What should I do? I can't leave her here by herself. Hmm... I think I'll take her to bed now.' Leo thought to himself.

Leo got up and carried Brianna's body to her room and tucked her in the bed. He turned on her blue lava lamp and went to the living room to tidy up the mess. After he finished cleaning up, he went back to Brianna's room to see her awake.

"Hey. You okay?" he asked her.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I kinda past out back there. I'm sorry."

"It's okay Brianna, I understand that your art work can tire you out."

"Yeah. It's a lot of work."

*yawn*

Leo looked at the clock and it said 12:00 a.m. It would be the best time for Brianna to go to sleep. Leo was worried for her.

"Brianna, I think you should go to sleep now."

"Okay, but where are you gonna sleep?"

"I can sleep on the floor, and I don't need to sleep. I took a day off and snoozed a little too much back at the lair. I'll stay up and look after you."

"Okay. Goodnight." Brianna said as she was closing her brown eyes.

"Night."

While Brianna was sleeping, Leo couldn't help but look at his human female friend. He held out his hand to her chest and felt her heart beating slowly. He can also hear her soft and gentle breathing which made his heart melt like pudding.

*yawn*

'Man, I'm tired. I think I better call this a night. And sleep very... peacefully.' Leo said as he laid his head down on the pillow Brianna had given him.

He was happy to be with his best friend today and to be closer to her than ever before.
