Outer Systems Alliance
(A/N: Okay so these guys are the 'Resistance' the IMC will meet in Season 2. The typical good guys as the OSA are the Murder Drones Universe version of the Frontier Militia (minus the whole terrorism and kidnapping people part). Anyway, they'll ally with the IMC and together they'll take the fight to the ADL and AS in order to save the galaxy for good.)
==========
History: The Outer Systems Alliance, often called the Resistance, is a rebel organization that fights against both the Anti-Drone League and the Absolute Solver. It began as a small group of people and soldiers who grew disillusioned, horrified, and angry at the war crimes of the ADL. Though originally many humans at first saw the goals and ideals of the ADL as noble and heroic against the Absolute Solver, the perspective of the people began to change after the ADL revealed their true colors, showing to be nothing more than a power-hungry organization that seeks to dominate and control. Despite their main goal is to eradicate the Absolute Solver and restore human dominance, the massacre of other human survivor groups caused many to wish to leave the organization as they didn't wish to be a part of a group they deem as tyrants and murderers.
This small spark of rebellion began due to a high-ranking Officer named James MacAllan. No one knew who James MacAllan was or his origins. However, he rose through the ranks thanks to his tactical and genius mind, along with being friends with the leader of the ADL Jason Copper. But when James saw the atrocities and war crimes being committed by the ADL, he knew he couldn't stay with this organization forever. After finding like-minded individuals who also grew sick of the ADL's war crimes against the very people they were supposed to protect, James led a mutiny as he and his followers escaped to form a resistance against the ADL. During their travels, they'd find and recruit new allies to their cause, including Worker Drones and even some Disassembly Drones who broke free from Cyn/Absolute Solver's control after reprogramming them.
Under the leadership of James MacAllan and his most trusted allies, this surviving group of Humans, Worker Drones, and even some Disassembly Drones banded together to form the Outer Systems Alliance (OSA).
Being just a small band of rebel cells working together, in the early years of its creation the OSA went on using guerilla warfare against the more heavily armed and militarized ADL. However, thanks to years of experience and under MacAllan's leadership, the OSA would grow to be more organized and would unite the various rebel cells into a proper unified army. However, despite being more of the threat the ADL as the years went on, the OSA was still outnumbered and outgunned by their more superior enemies. It's even worse as the OSA has to fight against the relentless Absolute Solver who caused major casualties for their people. Even though the OSA still stands strong, they're being pushed back, and it was only a matter of time before they're annihilated.
Everything changed, however, thanks to the arrival of the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC). Though MacAllan obviously hated the IMC due to past grudges, he was forced to accept their help nonetheless after they saved his people from both the ADL and the AS during a major battle. Suffice to say, the alliance with the IMC was a game changer for the OSA as finally they now have a change to defeat the ADL and stop the Absolute Solver for good. Though now it remains to be seen if the IMC will give the OSA the hope they desperately need, or they'll still fall under the weight of tyranny regardless.

Leader: James MacAllan
Bio: James MacAllan had no idea how it happened, but somehow, he ended up in a completely different universe after the Battle of Demeter. What was even more surprising was the fact he was now young again, somewhere in his 20s. He found himself stranded on an unknown planet and was forced to survive there for several weeks until he was found by the Anti-Drone League. Although initially distrusting of them at first, MacAllan would join their group after learning and witnessing the dangers of the Absolute Solver and its forces. Due to his intellect and tactical brilliance, MacAllan would rise through the ranks, becoming a high-ranking officer who led ADL forces to victory both in space and on the ground. He'd even go on to become good friends with its leader Jason Copper as they worked to save humanity from extinction. However, everything changed when MacAllan learned and even witnessed the ADL begin to attack and massacre other human survivor groups due to them being friendly with AIs called Worker Drones. He was horrified to see innocent civilians either getting slaughtered or kidnapped for psycho indoctrination. To MacAllan, it was the IMC all over again and he wasn't gonna stand for it any longer.
MacAllan confronted Jason about his actions and is horrified to learn he authorized these massacres due to his fanatical and racial belief of human supremacy, believing all AIs are abominations and must be exterminated, including humans who side with them. MacAllan is disgusted by this and he himself wasn't too trusting of AI due to his experience with the IMC, he would never go so far as to murder good people just for embracing AI themselves. Faced with this new truth, MacAllan planned to go AWOL as he couldn't be a part of an organization that willingly murders the very people they were supposed to protect. Lucky for him, he wasn't alone on this as other ADL personnel also grew disillusioned with what the ADL was starting to become. After managing to gather like-minded individuals to his cause, MacAllan started a mutiny which allowed them to escape from their former allies.
On the run and branded as traitors, MacAllan and his resistance fighters would launch guerilla attacks on ADL forces while also being careful when dealing with AS forces. Along the way, MacAllan would recruit allies from not only other human survivor groups who were terrorized by the ADL and the AS, but also fellow Worker Drones and some Disassembly Drones who were reprogrammed. Together, MacAllan would create the Outer Systems Alliance and the OSA would fight for the years to come in hopes of saving what's left of the galaxy and stopping their enemies. But soon everything changed when MacAllan was reunited with old friends from his universe but have now joined the very organization that murdered his people. Although initially outraged and distrusting of the appearance of the IMC, Bish, Sarah, and Graves explained everything to MacAllan everything that happened after his 'death'. Seeing how the IMC changed for the better and the OSA in dire need of help, MacAllan was forced to accept an alliance with his once former enemy.
Now reunited with old friends and allies, MacAllan believes the OSA now finally has the chance they needed to end this war and stop a potential apocalypse for good.

After learning of MacAllan's planned mutiny and defection, Hershel joined without a second thought. When MacAllan's mutiny began, Hershel reluctantly joined with his band of rebels thanks to being convinced by his girlfriend Mara. On the run and branded as fugitives, Hershel would become what would later be known as the Outer Systems Alliance (OSA) after recruiting not only more human survivors into their ranks, but also fellow Worker Drones and some Disassembly Drones who broke free from Cyn/Absolute Solver's programming. Eventually, he would come into contract with the IMC after they rescued him and his allies after an attack from both the ADL and AS. During her time spent with the ADL, she would also encounter and work alongside a man named James MacAllan. Although their relationship was strictly professional, that began to change after learning of just how horrible the ADL truly is and the war crimes they committed.
Misato honestly couldn't care less about the lives of Worker Drones as like so many of her species, she merely saw them as tools used for human labor or research. However, the idea of the ADL murdering their fellow humans just because they intermingled with AIs was sickening to her core. So, when James decided to start a mutiny or a rebellion on her mind, she and some of her scientists joined their cause to escape. Eventually, they started dating before getting married after James found and began raising an Untrained Neural Network (UNN) named Skylar. Unable to bear both the guilt and grief at the same time, Misato eventually ran away, leaving MacAllan behind. She then made her way to the colony world of Sanctuary where she made a new life in Haven City. Though things were peaceful, it soon didn't when the ADL came and occupied the planet. This left Misato in fear for her life as she always made sure to keep her identity a secret. That all changed due to the arrival of the OSA and IMC where both she and MacAllan would reunite. Though initially refusing at first, after learning the IMC succeeded in getting the Patch for the AS on Copper-9, she decided to join them as she now has the tools and equipment needed to finally end the eldritch AI for good. At the same time, her being Skylar and MacAllan again will determine if the family will remain separated or their bonds will be reforged.

Originally called SD-Z, she was chosen for experimentation of new prototype technologies that made her more powerful and dangerous compared to the average Disassembly Drones. Due to being a success, SD-Z would be the main template which would lead to the creation of SD-M, SD-S, SD-H, and SD-X. However, a glitch in the system had caused SD-Z to break free from her programming and remembering her past as a Worker Drones, she ran away and escaped from the clutches of the Absolute Solver. On the run and desperate to survive, SD-Z would eventually meet the ADL who would try to kill her. Though she was able to hold her ground, SD-Z would eventually be defeated after being blasted by a few EMP grenades. Just as she thought she was gonna be killed, she's rescued by the OSA and taken in.
Though their meeting wasn't the best at first as the first thing the OSA did was open her up and sift through her data to see if she had anything useful. When she awoke, she attacked them, resulting in some OSA soldiers being sent to deal with her. To her surprise, she was retrained when other Disassembly Drones came in and they took her down. Soon after, she's given an explanation of the current state of the Galaxy and who the OSA were. Not wanting to be controlled by the Absolute Solver again and seeing the ADL as a threat to her existence, SD-Z agrees to work with them and after much thinking, they agree to let her join their ranks. Given the name Zara to show her status as a new person, she would go on to join the OSA's Pathfinders (Shocked Troopers/Special Forces) and become one of their top aces. For years she battled against both AS and ADL forces until suddenly she felt another glitch in their system but something was different.
This time, she no longer felt like she was connected to the Absolute Solver.
