I stared at them back. I opened my mouth to ask where I am and who everybody was but my throat was too dry to get anything out. I reached up for my throat and closed my mouth. This must have set something off in the wolf people because they began to go crazy and attack the humans. This startled me so I jumped back a bit.

I cried out in pain as I felt two sharp stings in my back. The pain stayed there for a few seconds as the chaos rang on. I reached for my back to see what the pain was coming from but I felt nothing there.

The humans outnumbered the wolf people but the wolf people were much stronger than the humans. The wolf people trapped the humans in the corner while one of them slowly walked over to me. "It's so nice to see you again Luna." The voice of the wolf person was very deep and kinda soothing. It felt so familiar.

I opened my mouth to speak again but forgot that I couldn't talk. Pain began throbbing on the inside of my neck and I choked out.

The facial expression on the wolf person changed from serious to scared in a matter of seconds. They immediately reached into one of their many pockets and took out a small bottle filled with a faded green liquid.

They shoved it into my hands and mumbled inaudible words. I took the bottle and stared at it with caution. I looked back up at the wolf person. I slowly moved my hand back to them because I didn't know what it was. It could kill me!

Their eyes narrowed at me and huffed a little puff of air. They snatched the bottle from my hand, opened it with a little twist, and shoved it back at me. I was startled by this sudden act of what looked to be anger or frustration so I just stared at the bottle.

They were getting more frustrated with me, from what I could tell, and let out a small, low growl. A sinking feeling washed throughout me as I felt guilty for upsetting this wolf person. They suddenly grabbed my head and forced the liquid into my mouth.

I was obviously very scared by them and didn't want to drink that odd liquid, but I felt like I was going to have to drink it no matter what. So I did. It wasn't like a normal liquid going down my throat, it felt like it was just air. I sat there for a bit, wondering what I had just done and that I might die in a few seconds.

I payed attention to the icy "liquid" going down my throat, then my heartbeat to make sure that it was still there.

Thadum.

Thadum.

Thadum.

Thadum.

Then it stopped.
